Jungkook's Pov

I woke up. Again without seeing her.

The last time I slept in the evening, I knew I might not see her cause we don't sometimes see each other in our naps. But at night when we sleep, we always saw the other.

I didn't see her last night.

Why didn't I see her?

Does it have something to do with the man I found last night? The one who control dark magic, who handle souls? Does Jungsoo know about our special bond?

Did he by chance block it so that I can't see her? And find her?

How am I going to find her if the tracker isn't working and I can't even see her? When I don't even have any lead...

My mind still in the daze of being lost yet my heart being hopeful, I somehow made my way to the bathroom to get ready. For what, I have no idea.

The time I spent in the bathroom was a mess. The soap slipped, making the floor slippers. I slipped and fell down hiting my head on the tile hard enough to cause a cut on the back of my head. Groaning at my own stupidity, I got up cursing and finished washing myself.

Making my way to the kitchen after getting dressed and putting oitment on the wound, I grabbed the milk carton and cereal box. While I was pouring milk, my hand accidently hit the cereal box making it fall down scattering cereal grains everywhere.

Groaning yet again, I cleaned the place. None of the hyungs are around leaving me to quietly get through with this job.

Grabbing the cereal bowl in my hand, I made my way to the basement to find the guys, I turned a corner to hit hard against a chest splattering my bowl content all over him.

I felt like crying as I watched his now soaked chest that's driping liquid onto the floor.

"Jungkook?" The voice asked. I didn't even look up, letting my tears fall down now having lost the will to control it anymore.

Hobi hyung grabbed my hand and pulled me with him to the room next door, closing the door behind us.

I kept my eyes closed, sobbing softly. I can hear the rustle of Hobi hyung as he removed his shirt and got dressed in one random shirt lying in the room.

He then pulled me in for a hug, letting his chin rest on my head. Even though I was taller, I somehow became small here with him now.

"I know it's hard Koo. Let your tears out." He muttered softly making the tears flow harder.

"This isn't right hyung. I shouldn't be crying over a cereal bowl." I whined into his chest. He cooed that he get it but I kept going.

"Nothing is going my way hyung. Why is it like that? What did I do that's so wrong?" I hiccuped while trying to voice out the thoughts about how clumsy I am.

"You didn't do anything wrong Kookie. And we will get everything right soon. Okay?" He asked me as he rocked us side to side.

I didn't respnd.

"You.... saw her?" He asked me then.

I shook my head as another sob escaped me.

We stayed silent then with me completely relying on the strength Hobi hyung is supporting me with. Soon he took us to sit on the bed.

I took in the room after sitting on the bed. The extra room we have in the basement for when we get injured or when we are too tired to go upstairs after a mission.

"This room is so gloomy now." He remarked. He too was looking around the room.

"We used to crash here all the time." I mentioned slowly through my now hoarse voice.

He smiled. "Remember that one day you got hurt in the knees and you had to stay here?" He asked making me smile at the memory. "Taehyungie was so sad to leave you here alone so he stayed. That made Jimin stay too. Jin hyung stayed behind then to make sure that you guys don't do something reckless. We didn't trust you 3 at all to stay without setting the house together with our heads on fire. Since Jin hyung was too guilible, Namjoon stayed as well. Suga hyung was already passed out on the chair so I decided to stay too not wanting to go sleep alone."

"How did we all fit in a double bed?" I asked.

"None of us slept that night." He said then.

"Except Suga hyung."

"But then he woke up and scolded us cause we were dancing to a random song blasting it out loud."

I smiled. "That was Taehyungie hyung's idea."

"He even brought his sexaphone."

"Namjoom hyung screamed so loud with excitement too." I pointed out.

He burst out laughing. "That was the night we realized that just like how the 3 of you could set a fire, with the 4 of us we can make it spread."

I laughed with him at how careless and stupid yet fun we have been all the time.

Our laughter soon subsided and a sort of gentle seriousness settled in the room.

"That is our past Jungkook." Hobi hyung started. "We have gone through hell and back to smile like it's the last day we live. We faced injuries that left us unconscious for weeks. But then we woke up with a smile knowing that the others are waiting for us. When you got caught by that mafia in that mission, you weren't scared. It's beacuse you trusted us right? We would never let you down. Just like how we would never let her down as well. She is strong Jungkookah. She trusts us. She trusts you. She will stay strong until we find her. She won't let go. She needs you now. This is an obstacle we are put to face again. But we got through all the past ones with a smile at the end, this will be the same."

I kept looking at my hands. My fingers fighting with each other to keep myself busy as I focused on his words. He then turned me to him, holding me tight from my shoulders.

"You need to be you now Jungkook. She needs you. So don't worry if nothing is going your way. Go the way it is leading you and make that yours. So that you won't be dissapointed about something that isn't happening. So that you can be greatful you are following a path. Whatever it maybe."

I smiled at him.

Whatever situation we face, I'm not alone.

We have always been together.

We will get through this together too.

We made our way to the computer room now, smiling and content. Although tense.

He told me that no information from the tracker received. His friends has been trying to find info but it's delaying which might not be a good sign.

The computer room was filled with everyone.

V hyung who kept on staring at the screen typing rapidly.

Mark was staring at the tracker screen same as I was last night.

Jin hyung munching on a bread piece whole feeding V hyung and mark.

Jiminie hyung going through CCTV around the area we suspected yesterday.

Namjoon hyung on a call.

This is my family.

Except,"Where is Suga hyung?"

"He is coming home buddy. And Mina already knows. Suga hyung decided that it's best he tells instead of you also Mina suspected something was up."

I nodded. I tried to fit myself into the room after Hobi hyung too went to adjust the gadgets. But there seems to be nothing for me to do.

Namjoon hyung suddenly broke the silence.

"My friend just called. They said that Jungsoo's mafia doesn't know where he is. He has been in hiding for the past 2 weeks. No one knows where except for his right hand men."

"Is there any way to track his location?" I asked.

"He said that usually Jungsoo had a tracker on him that could be accessed in any serious condition but for some reason that tracker is malfunctioning. Just like how we have eith her I guess."

"So he is with her." Jin hyung said.

"Yes it seems like it."

Everyone got back to work again making me lean against the wall with a sigh.

I let my mind wander. How can we find him if he is in hiding? If no one has seen her for the past 2 weeks? No one except his right hand men.

His right hand men!

I quickly made my way to a computer nearby and logged in. The system of V hyung's main computer is installed here making it easier for me to access needed information.

I found his right hand men. 4 in total. Kang Minho. Lee Jungin. Song hojin. And lastly Jung Jaemin.

Getting all their information wasn't easy yet wasn't hard either.

Soon I found a weak point. Song Hojin's family.

His little son and his young wife is seen in shopping malls, in the boy's preschool and many other places. Checking the history of the mother and son's whereabouts, I found something that made me smile.

The guy was seen together with his family in the boy's preschool attending the concert of his son that was held 3 days ago. Getting cctv from that day around the road, I tracked his car. The whole ride.

When it entered into the area we always suspected, it delighted me. Finally we have a lead.

After a little into the area though, none of the cameras worked.

I exclaimed to gather everyones attention, now with Suga hyung and Mina who came a little while back, they all listened quietly as I explained what I found.

"Way to go Koo." Namjoon hyung said patting my back. "It gotta be the area. She is somewhere there."

"I'll look more into that place." V hyung exclaimed.

Hobi hyung slowly patted my head making me grin like an excited puppy.

"There are buildings. 46 in total in the whole area. Almost all around 3 storeys high. Out of those 32 are in use. 8 are under construction. 6 are abandoned."

"Focus on the 6 then?" Mark asked.

Suga hyung shook his head. "Focus on the 32. He won't keep her locked in a place where we can easily search. Instead it would be where there are people."

"Right under everyone's nose." I said.

"Exactly. Yet you can't see under your nose." Jiminie hyung pointed out.

"Yes! Now we have a lead. Let's check more."

We all got back into work but the distraction came almost immediately.

"Babes. Wanna go shopping?"

Mina looked at him like he grew a second head. "What?"

"The place is filled with shopping malls. So let's take a look around. Evaluate the crowded places from not. Things that can't be found on the internet."

"Good idea Yoongs." Jin hyung said.

Everyone nodded and so did Mina who soon made her away together in the embrace of her boyfriend.

My heart ached yet seeing the couple but I made my eyes concentrate on the task at hand.

Although my mind was refusing to focus well.

No additional information regarding the exact location but we gathered maps and all the needed facts about the place.

"We hit a dead end. Again." V hyung sighed 

We got nothing again after this as we wait for the 2 who went to check the place physcially.

We all filled back into the living room. It was late evening with the sun being set in the sky to give space to the moon.

"Jungkook. Could you try sleeping again? Maybe this time it will work?" Namjoon hyung asked.

I shook my head. "It won't work."

They all looked at me with confusion so I explained what I suspect. After I said everything, it was Jin hyung who broke the silence that was filling the room ina heavy weight.

"We won't lose hope."

Just then, Suga and Mina came into the house making us all look at them. Now with more hope to hear a positive news.

"Okay so the whole place was not crowded. The shopping malls only had about around 50 people in each."

All the stuff they gathered gave us an idea about what kind of a place it is. What's the usual crowd of it is like. But still not about her whereabouts. We were exhausted and mostly devastated again not knowing what our next step would be.

But I made a choice. Sitting around at home wishing for a lead to magically appear is not right. I need to go. Even if I have to open every door there is to find her, I will do just that.

I annouced that I'm going back into the computer room. I need to get myself a map of the area to look for places I can search first. Taehyung hyung followed me.

"You aren't going there, are you?" He asked.

I gave a small nod. "I have to. I don't want to wait anymore."

"Okay. I'll give you a map and I'll assist you to the best I can." He said while squeezing my shoulder in reassurance.

I gave a tight lipped smile. We both got into our computers to gather the needed information 

Everyone slowly gathered into the room. Namjoon and Jin hyung were against me going but I didn't pay my attention to them. But while they were discussing, it was Mark who made everyone silent with just one word.

"Hyungs!!!"

Leaping to my feet, I quickly made my way towards him who kept on staring at the screen with the tracker.

"It stopped moving." He mumbled.

The screen has the red dot, blinking in one single spot.

The excitement and the happiness that I feel cannot be described in words but my actions betrayed me when my eyes filled with tears.

Tears of Hope.

"How did that happen?" Jiminie hyung asked.

"I didn't do anything. The tracker fixed itself." V hyung said. And then he smiled and looked at me. "Seems like Y/n got into action."

That's my girl.
