"I'm so happy for you guys" chan's dad says as they go back in the house.

"thanks dad" chan smiles and he kisses felix's cheek.

"yeah thanks jaegyu" felix says.

"you can call me dad" felix felt a slight happiness fill in his heart.

"hey you okay?" chan looks at him.

"it's just... I haven't said dad in years, and... I feel so happy to be able to say it now"

"good, I'll go make dinner"

"okay" chan says and they both sit on the sofa as they wait for dinner to be ready.

"I can't wait to marry you" chan says and felix smiles.

"me too"

"I can call you mine forever" they both exchange smiles and chan kisses his cheek.

"I never thought I'd ever get married, because of my attitude nobody ever wanted to be with me"

"well I do"

"I know, and I couldn't be more grateful to have you in my life" felix looks at him and smiles.

chan's smile fades when he starts breathing heavily.

"chan!? chan!" felix perks up and holds his hand right.

"what's going on!?" jaegyu hears felix's calls.

"come on we have to call an ambulance!" felix says and he already starts getting tears in his eyes in fear that he'll lose him so soon.

jaegyu quickly calls an ambulance and felix holds him in his arms.

"it's gonna be okay, I'm here for you, I'm here..." felix whispers to him as he still starts to breathe heavily and he starts shaking.

"I... love you... I'm... sorry... if... if I... I don't... I don't make it" chan lets out.

the ambulance shows up and puts chan on a gurney and give him an oxygen mask.

when they bring him outside, felix tries to let go of chan's hand, but he won't budge.

"chan... you have to let go..." he still refuses.

"it's okay you can come in the truck with us" one of the workers says.

felix keeps hold of chan's hand, he looks back at chan's dad.

"I'll see you at the hospital" felix nods.

the truck starts driving and they keep trying to get him to stay awake.

"are you his boyfriend?" felix nods.

"okay chan... keep looking at him... it's on you if you survive this or not... just look at him and think of him" chan listens to the worker and he looks at felix while he was a worried mess.

felix kisses his hand and strokes his hair as the workers keep checking on his vitals.

when they arrive at the hospital, felix starts becoming a crying mess when he gets sent off into the surgical room.

when he sits in the waiting room, jaegyu comforts him by giving him a hug and letting him cry.

"I... I didn't... I didn't think it would be soon" felix says and jaegyu nods.

"me neither"

"I... I don't want to lose him..."

"me neither. just remember if he does or he doesn't make it... he'll have happiness either way... because if he doesn't make it he'll finally be with his mom... but if he does he'll get to be with you again" felix nods and he wipes his eyes.

"what about you? how will you be?" felix asks.

"well it'll be hard at first... but eventually I'll get through it... it's hard to lose your wife and son"

"of course it is... well I'll still be here. just because he doesn't make it doesn't mean that I still won't be here for you, dad" jaegyu looks at him and he hugs him.

"thank you, I really wish he would've been able to get married"

"me too but... at least he proposed" he looks at the ring and smiles softly, then he had tears in his eyes again.

"there is someone else that will be there for you" felix looks at jaegyu.

"I know..."

"maybe just give him another chance" felix looks down and he slowly gets out his phone.

"minho? I need you... chan... he's..."

"I understand, I'll be there soon"

felix hangs up and he sighs when he puts his phone back in his pocket.

minho walks in the waiting room to see felix sitting there.

"hey..." minho sits on the other side of him, felix looks at him and starts crying again.

"I... I... I don't want to say goodbye to chan" felix says and minho brings him in his arms.

"shhh it's okay, you'll get through this I promise" felix suddenly sits up.

"hyunjin... he should know" he looks at jaegyu.

"I already texted him, he's on his way" felix nods and he goes back in minho's arms.

a little while after hyunjin arrives, the doctor comes out to the waiting room.

"jaegyu..." he looks at chan's dad.

he stands up and follows the doctor.

"you okay felix?" hyunjin looks at him.

"especially not now, the doctor just came out, it's killing me"

"just calm down you'll find out soon" minho says and felix nods.

jaegyu comes back over to them.

felix stands up and looks at him.

"well!? how is he!? did he make it!?" felix asks and hyunjin stands up too.

"well... the surgery..." the sound of his voice didn't seem so good.

"it was a success" felix eyes widen.

"really!?"

"yes, the doctor told me that we got him here just in time... if we would've waited any longer he would've died" felix sighs in relief.

"can we see him?" hyunjin asks.

"he said we can" before they go to his room, felix turns around to minho.

"come with us minho" felix says, minho looks up at him and he stands up.

"really?" felix nods.

they all go to chan's room, when they enter he's laying on his bed.

"he's asleep right now, we're awaiting for the results to see if he's cured yet, we'll let you know when we get them" jaegyu nods.

felix is the first to sit down on the chair next to chan's bed, he holds his hand.

chan's eyes slowly open, he smiles when he sees felix.

"lixie..." felix smiles when he hears him speak.

"yeah, it's me" chan puts his hand on his cheek and he caresses it.

"I decided to stay with you" they both exchange smiles. "I'm not ready to leave you yet, I love you too much"

"I love you too, I really thought I was gonna lose you so soon"

"come here, I want to hold you in my arms" he slowly moves over to make room for felix to lay next to him.

when he lays down, they both stare into each other's eyes and they close the gap between their lips.

"I'm sorry for making you upset" he caresses his cheek.

"don't apologize for that you stupid" they both chuckles.

"am I cured?"

"doctor kim is waiting for the results from the surgery still... before he comes in and tells us I want to tell you something"

"what is it?"

"even if you aren't cured... and you still have cancer... I want you to know that you have changed me... before I met you I was this lonely, ungrateful nobody who didn't know what life's purpose was. no matter what happens to you... you will always be in my heart forever, I will never ever forget you... I'll never forget when you made me laugh, when you made me a new person... I haven't found happiness in years... after my parents died I never thought I would ever find happiness again... but you... you make me happier than I ever imagined" he interlocks his fingers into chan's.

they both are just lost in each other's gaze.

"every time I look at you... it's like you're an angel sent from heaven... it's like my moms still with me, because you're both angelic" he caresses his cheek again.

"stop it I'm so jealous" hyunjin says.

there's a knock at the door, and a younger looking man walks in the room.

and hyunjin couldn't keep his eyes off of him.

"hello, I'm dr. seo with the results of your operation for dr. kim"

"I'll go get him" jaegyu leaves the room.

"you are hot. are you dating anyone?" hyunjin walks up to him and chan face palms.

"no I'm not, are you a friend of chan's?"

"yes, I hope we'll see each other more often then" dr. seo chuckles.

"probably not, I work in the surgical area, but I wouldn't mind if you came to see me from time to time" before hyunjin could respond, dr. kim and jaegyu walk in.

"hello changbin you have the results?" he nods and hands the papers to him.

"changbiiiiinnnn what a great name" hyunjin smiles.

"and yours is?"

"hyunjin, hwang hyunjin" he says and chan just shakes his head.

"changbin stop it and get back to work" dr. kim says and changbin rolls his eyes.

"see you around" changbin smiles at hyunjin before he leaves.

"wow"

"what are the results doctor?" jaegyu asks and chan holds felix's hand tight.

"well let me see" he looks at the papers, he turns the pages while leaving everyone in curiosity as he isn't making any facial expressions.

he sighs when he puts the papers down and he looks at chan.

"chan, you're cured" happiness fills the room as they hear the amazing news that chan wasn't dying soon after all.

"oh my god!" felix hugs him tight and they both smile wide.

"I'm so happy" chan says.

"me too"

"you'll need to stay the night to make sure though"

"yes doctor, thank you so much" chan smiles at him and he leaves the room to let them all be alone.

"I can't believe you're cured" felix smiles softly.

"me too, but I am, so now you're stuck with me" they both chuckle.

"I couldn't ask for anything else"

"actually um... since I'm not dying soon now... do you even still want to marry me?"

"stupid of course I do, I would love that"

they both exchange smiles and once again get lost in each other's gaze.

"I love seeing your smile" chan says.

"yours too" felix gives him a peck and they continue to smile at each other.

"y'all cute and shit but what about the rest of us?" hyunjin says.

"it's okay hyunjin, let's give them some alone time, we'll have plenty of time to spend with chan"

you wanna know something? it turns out chan wasn't cured.

he passed away a month later, two weeks after his and felix's wedding due to heart failure.

just like what chan's dad said to felix in the hospital waiting room, he's now with his mom again.

but felix forever kept his promise to chan that he would never forget him and he would always be grateful for how much he changed him.

he will never, ever forget the guy who made him blind, only to make him see again.
