I followed Daniel into his room and squeezed his hand, and he instantly looked at me. "Can I take a shower?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper, and my mate raised an eyebrow in question.

"What?" he asked while he cocked his head and studied me, confused about my question. "What do you mean?" he asked.

My cheeks turned red and I looked down, not able to meet his gaze. "Ummm..." I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet. "Can I take a shower?" I asked again, my voice barely above a whisper.

He blinked and blinked again before he slowly nodded, confused. "Of course," he said and raised his eyebrow again. "Why would you ask me that?"

I hesitated before I shrugged, my cheeks turning another shade of red. "I don't know," I said softly. "I just thought I would ask."

Daniel bit back a small chuckle and shook his head. "You didn't need to ask me, Katie. Did you want to use mine?" He dipped his head closer to his chest while he stared at me with a raised eyebrow. "Or do you want to call it ours?"

I hesitated some more before I cleared my throat and nodded, my cheeks turning slightly red. "Sure," I said before I cleared my throat again. "Are you sure?" I paused and my cheeks turned redder. "On using your shower and then calling it ours?"

Daniel bit back a small chuckle before he slowly nodded. "I am positive," he said before he cleared his throat and moved a hand through his hair. "Now, go ahead and take a shower. Do you want to wear one of my shirts afterward?" he asked while he raised an eyebrow in question.

I slowly nodded, breathing slightly in relief. "Ok. Thank you."

"Good, now go ahead and take a shower. After that, we can get some sleep, or I can answer any questions that you may have now that you know about us, ok?" He raised an eyebrow in question and cocked his head while he stared at me.

I hesitated but nodded again, not knowing which one to choose. "Thank you, Daniel," I said, breathing a sigh of relief. "I appreciate you."

I was happy that he would answer any questions of mine because I had a lot of them, especially since I needed to know what was going to happen with me and where I stood with the pack.

"Of course," he said. He hesitated while he studied me and bit back a small smile, his cheeks turning slightly red. "Do you mind if I kiss you?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper while he furrowed his brows and cocked his head. "Please?"

My cheeks grew red, but I slowly nodded, the urge to kiss him getting slightly stronger. "Please," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet, my cheek turning another shade of red. "I would like that a lot."

My mate chuckled and gently pulled me into his arms before he placed a kiss on my lips, and I wrapped my arms around his neck while I kissed him back.

Goddess, I love this man...

My mate bit back a small sigh and placed a kiss on my forehead after he had pulled away, and I closed my eyes, biting back a small sigh. "Go ahead, and take your shower," he said softly and pulled away from me. "We can talk more when you are done. Ok?"

I nodded and started to walk to the bathroom but paused when my mate cleared his throat. I looked at him and cocked my head while I furrowed my brows. "What is it?" I asked softly, confused. "What do you want?"

He smiled and dipped his head closer to his chest, looking at me fully amused. "You need to get your stuff from your bathroom first," he said, and he gestured to the door. "We can move the rest of your stuff in here when you wake up again, ok?"

I hesitated before I nodded. "Right," I said softly, rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly. I cleared my throat and looked at the bedroom door before I looked at him. I was nervous, scared even, even though I had no idea why.

My mate dipped his head closer to his chest while he studied me. His face was blank, but I could see the worry in his eyes while he studied me. "Are you worried about the pack?" he asked while he raised an eyebrow in question, and I grimaced and shrugged.

"A bit," I said hesitantly before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet. "I know that I am not supposed to, but..." I shrugged and grimaced while my cheeks turned red again.

"But?" he inquired and raised an eyebrow higher while he cocked his head. "This is your first time learning about a huge secret that has been hidden from you while you lived here."

I hesitated before I slowly nodded, my cheeks turning red while I stayed silent.

My mate bit back a small sigh before he shook his head and cleared his throat. "Do you want me to go with you?" he asked and raised an eyebrow. Amusement filled his eyes while he dipped his head closer to his chest and smiled. "You are their Luna, Katie. They will protect you with their life, no questions asked."

My heart grew warm, and I couldn't help but smile a little, feeling grateful but also nervous. "Ok," I said and slowly nodded before I cleared my throat. "I just want to get some shower supplies and then some night clothes as well some clothes for the morning. After we sleep or whatever, then we can collect the rest, if that is ok with you."

My mate chuckled and slowly nodded. "Ok," he said. He held out his hand for me to take, and I happily went over to him and took it. "We can do that."

Daniel squeezed my hand reassuringly before he started to walk to the door, and I followed him. "You could always wear my shirts to bed," he said randomly while he opened it, and I walked through it with my hand still in his.

"I know," I said and slowly nodded, "and I will, but I think I would like to use my shower supplies."

He nodded and stayed silent.

I looked around while we walked, my eyes wide and my whole body was tense, not knowing if I was going to see someone else and didn't want to.

"No one is going to be on this floor at the moment," Daniel said and shook his head as if he knew what I was thinking. He squeezed my hand reassuringly, and I breathed a sigh of relief and slowly nodded while I slowly started to relax.

"Do I get to see everyone in their Wolf form?" I asked randomly with furrowed brows, and he slowly nodded.

"If you want to see us train or whatever, then yes," he said and nodded again. "We have been trying to keep it a secret because we didn't want to scare you."

I pressed my lips and slowly nodded when a thought occurred to me. "When would you have told me?" I asked and looked at him from the corner of my eye, and his cheeks turned slightly red while he shrugged and looked away from me.

"Daniel?" I asked and raised an eyebrow while I cocked my head when he didn't answer right off the bat. "When would you have told me that you were a Werewolf?"

My mate sighed and shook his head before he cleared his throat, his cheeks turning redder. "I don't know," he admitted before he cleared his throat again and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"I was going to go through with it with Mom, but... I haven't had the chance to do so..." He trailed off before he cleared his throat and looked down, ashamed. "I'm sorry, Katie," he said, sheepishly. "Can you forgive me?"

I pressed my lips into a thin line before I slowly nodded and sighed, deciding that getting angry over this wasn't worth it. "Ok," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted a little toward him. I squeezed his hand, and he instantly squeezed my hand too. "I forgive you."

Daniel smiled and breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you," he said before he cleared his throat and grew serious. "I promise that I will not hide anything from you ever again. I don't want you to hate me or be mad at me either."

My heart grew warm, and I bit back a small smile while I shook my head. "I am not mad at you, and I don't hate you, Daniel," I said honestly before I cleared my throat and rubbed up against him. "I'm a little hurt that you kept from me, but I understand."

He breathed a sigh of relief before he slowly nodded. "Again, I am sorry that I kept it from you," he said before he placed a kiss on my head, and I closed my eyes and smiled.

I walked into my room with him following behind me. I let go of his hand and walked to my bathroom while he walked to my dresser to get some of my clothes and to bring them to his room.

"Do you want to officially move in tomorrow?" he asked and raised an eyebrow. "I can grab some of your clothes from your dresser now, but we can get the rest of it tomorrow."

"Sure," I said and nodded before I grabbed my toiletries and started to walk out of the bathroom to see him looking at my dresser with my bras and underwear, his cheeks turning red.

I furrowed my brows and cocked my head while I looked at him. "What?" I asked while I studied him. "What is it? Are you ok?"

"Yes," he said before he nodded. He cleared his throat before he shifted on his feet. "I want to grab you some underwear, but I don't want to go through your underwear drawer and get something."

I held back an eye roll and bit back a small chuckle, amused. "You're my mate, are you not?" I asked, and he nodded in confirmation. "Then why are you not taking something from it?"

Daniel bit back a small sigh before he shook his head. He cleared his throat and started to pull out a bra and underwear for me to wear. His cheeks were red, and I shook my head, amused.

"Do you want me to put you out of your misery?" I teased while I started to try and take them away from him, and he quickly pulled them away from me.

"No, I am fine," he said, and I bit back a small snort because I knew that he wasn't fine and was a little nervous. "Sorry." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly while he pressed his lips into a thin line.

I bit back a small smile and shook my head. "It's ok," I said. I grabbed some more of my lingerie before I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Are you going to be fine with them in your dresser?" I asked without a single thought before my cheeks turned red, and his cheeks turned red too.

"Uhhh, yes, yes," he said before he nodded and cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Did you want half of the dresser?" he asked while he cocked his head and studied me.

I nodded. "If you don't mind," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet. My cheeks turned redder, and I looked away from him before I cleared my throat again. "If you don't mind, then I would accept it because I don't want to have to go back and forth between both rooms."

My mate chuckled and slowly nodded. "I don't mind," he said before he cleared his throat and grew serious. "Now, come," he said and gestured for me to leave the room. "Let's go back to our room and get ready for bed after you take your shower, ok?" He raised an eyebrow in question, and I smiled and slowly nodded, my heart feeling warm. "We can talk about everything else later. Ok?"

I bit back a small sigh before I slowly nodded again. "Ok," I said, my voice barely above a whisper before I started to walk to the door, and he followed me. "And nothing will be left out?" I asked while I raised an eyebrow while I looked at him.

My mate smiled and nodded. "And nothing will be left out. I promise."

I smiled and nodded, breathing a sigh of relief. "Thank you," I said while I walked out of the room with him following me. "I appreciate it, Daniel."

"Anything for you, Katie," he said while he bowed his head and smiled, and I couldn't help but smile, feeling very wanted by him and the pack that I was supposed to be their leader. "Anything for you."
