Title Translation-You are my only real friend

Hahaha...For the first time I have absolutely nothing to say to my readers..Hope you like the chapter!

On to the Story:

"So did you confess your undying love to him?"Yash smirked at anjali.Currently they were sitting at a small cafe,Yash was so curious regarding the confrontation of Anjali and Yash the day before,though anjali briefed him on phone,his mind did not rest at peace until he picked her from office and dragged her to cafe saying her to describe him every single detail,but in reality he wanted to make sure Vedh did not hurt and she was alright.

"L..O..V..E!!",Anjali tested the word as it tasted foreign to her mouth,"I do not LOVE Vedh..You know that our relationship is not made of love,and the way I was treated made the seeds of love in my heart dormant",she said too quickly.

"Then what did you say to Vedh yesterday?",Yash grew more serious now.

"I asked him whether he can move on from ravali,I assured him that if he can forget his past,we can build our relationship with love,respect and trust,I also offered my support in case he needs any help in forgetting the past",Anjali replied calmly.

"I thought you love him",Yash murmered to himself,but as the cafe was very calm,anjali heard him too.

"When you love a person, you can end up getting hurt  and start hating the person who destroyed your heart,You will want to forget every single trace of that person in your life..And when you start forgetting you will know how much you are missing them..and you'll eventually realise you did not fall out of love.......IN SHORT YOUR LIFE WILL GET MISERABLE",anjali said breathing harshly.

"My life is already disoriented and dis-functional Yash,I am not ready to make it more pathetic and miserable by falling in LOVE with Vedh",anjali told Yash calmly.

"But yes,If Vedh is ready to forget his past and move on then I will see..",she added quickly.

"But anjali,I feel you are loosing hope that Vedh can change,hope ends when you stop believing..Please don't stop believing in your  marraige,You are the only one who could help Vedh now",Yash pleaded anjali.

 Anjali took a deep breath,"Yash,Do you know how it feels to love someone who doesn't love you ? You are asking me to hope that Vedh can change,HOPE means keeping expectations..In life, dont expect anything from anyone. Because expectations, when not fulfilled, gives you pain",Anjali replied sadly.

"You know yesterday even after everything happened,Vedh snatched his hand from mine and left me abruptly,asusual went to his room and may be drank himself to sleep.You see Yash,I realised What ever I do,What ever I say will be never going to effect Vedh in the least possible way..I am just wasting my time,So I decided I will live my life and stop bothering about all these",Anjali said and stood up from her seat.She removed a hundred from her purse and kept it on table.

"Thanks for trying to make my life better Yash,but please stop wasting your time on us,nothing is going to change..and that will do for my milkshake",anjali bid Yash a good bye and started to walk.

"Anjali...Anju wait",Yash ran behind her...........

"Sir do you want to order something,or shall I get your regular?",the waiter nervously asked Vedh.

Vedh nodded  simple 'NO' and glanced at the place,it was a drive-in which was famous in street food.Vedh and Ravali always used to come there,Her laughter still rang in his ears,The flashes of them feeding each other,their late night drives,the way they talked licking their cone icecreams sitting on the hood of his car..every damn thing was still fresh in his memory.

Such precious moments and memories they were to him,and this girl Anjali wants him to forget them...Vedh snorted to himself,Had not been for anjali and her brother,He and Ravali would had been happy now,And she has the  courage to come and confront him to forget his Ravali,Fucking shit..she thinks she is right for him,she will beat his ravali...STUPID GIRL!!Vedh thought to himself.

"Such a nice couple they are",some elderly people walking by his car were laughing to themselves seeing some couple.

Curious person he was,Vedh adjusted his side mirror only to find his WIFE and his BEST FRIEND leaning on the hood of Yash's car,talking and laughing.

"Anju..don't eat that,see something has fallen",Yash warned her.

Anjali  bought her cone Ice cream to her face and intently stared at it,only to get hit by yash at the back of her head,and the whole icecream got smeared on her face.Anjali glared at it and then started the icecream match.

Vedh couldn't look at them anymore..Not that he was jealous..He was angry on Anjali.

"Some nerve she has!!Shamelessly hanging out with my friend and confronting me about my past,as if she is loyal towards this marriage",Vedh banged his hands on the streering and drove away angrily.

 It was a quite night but a tornado was booming in Vedh's home.He sat on the recliner chair and waited for anjali's arrival.Very soon he heard a car's engine,and she walked into the home smiling.Not sparing him a glance she started walking upstairs.

"Why are you always disrespecting me in public and flirting with other men?" ,Vedh's voice boomed in the silent house.

"I remember yesterday you asked me a question..but you are so desperate that you could not even wait for my answer..." ,Vedh's anger started getting best of him now.

"Oh..I wonder how can you act so innocent..you don't need to go to any office from now on...I want you to stay home, so I can keep an eye on you",Vedh ordered anjali.

"Vedh!Stop!",painfully said anjali,inorder to show him how much his words are hurting her.

"What are you talking?I haven't done anything",she started counting digits in order to control her angry.

Instead of replying Vedh grabbed her hand and shoved her into the wall,"You already spoiled my life,don't even think of Yash".

"Ohh..Vedh..It was not like that..Yash and me ...you got it all wrong,please listen..please",Anjali struggled to say.

"Enough!",Vedh let go of anjali's hand and punched the wall beside her.He punched the wall really hard,he moved a little and threw the flower vase down which shattered into pieces.He walked out from there and slammed his room door,and locked it.

Anjali slid down the wall and tried to catch her breath,she looked back the wall to find his blood imprints on it,she was so afraid of his temper.. And the way he acts when he drinks.

 Anjali is feeling like she is  constantly walking on eggshells when she is around Vedh.And she decided to do something..SOMETHING BIG.

 She doesn't want to put her life on hold waiting for HIM.
