Across the Table
This is a poem about one of the many things that annoy me: Chewing noises. I just cannot handle the sound of smacking lips! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this poem about said chewing noises.
What's that noise I hear?
Across the table loud and clear,
I try to ignore my pain,
But my efforts are in vain.
My poor ears are dying,
My brain cells slowly frying,
I wish it would stop
Before I drop.
If it doesn't end,
My ears will never mend.
My brain is about to blow
The noises begin to grow.
Much louder than before,
I really can't take much more.
Chewing is the worst.
My head's about to burst.
Chewing.
