This is how it started

You already know how this started.

Not drinking for a few weeks was finally getting to his head; and no, he wasn't talking about food. That's right, you guessed it; blood. He would like to sit around like always and think about life, but alas, if he didn't quench it soon, Hoseok would definitely become rather rogue and... well, that can be left to the imagination. He was good at handling not feeding for long periods of time, but there were some days he just found it harder than ever.

And so, that's why that night, he had called Jimin up at the bar.

"Hey, Hoseokie!" Jimin chimed. "What's up?"

The younger boy's features were content with happiness when he saw his best friend sit down next to him. It made Hoseok feel secure and satisfied with himself, knowing that there wasn't anything bothering Jimin. If anything wanted to be a threat to the boy, he would not hesitate to do anything to the danger.

Even if it meant killing.

"Can you help me out? I feel like drinking from someone again." A sheepish smile crawled onto his nervous smiling face; a little sweat appeared down his temple when he saw Jimin's smile drop into annoyance. Oops...

"But you keep telling me not to do that because it's risky!" Jimin whined.

"Because you are my child!" A stern look crossed over his face, pointing at the vampire in front of him, "As long as I'm alive you are not to do anything bad that I do – or anyone else!" Hoseok noticed Jimin's mouth open to push back so Hoseok pushed further, "Nuh uh! You are not ever going to drink live human blood! Don't talk back to me Jimin, or I'm going to take away your sex privileges." He hissed, leaving Jimin to pout like a little boy.

"Okay okay, I'll help..." Although Hoseok noticed the little rebellious gaze flaring off of the younger boy, he was at the least thankful Jimin wasn't such a try-hard and difficult to discipline. It would've been a hell of a lot harder in the past when he was broken.

As the minutes passed by, Hoseok kept ordering more drinks. Jimin was pointing out to some people who passed by – women and men – but he didn't have a zing for any of them. Hoseok preferred to drink from someone he found at the least decent looking in his book, both physically and personality wise.

Half an hour in and they were both getting pretty tired. This is also another reason why Jimin never really liked helping Hoseok because he was so picky about his people. Not that he understood anything about it. He never tasted human blood straight from a human before. "Well... what about that guy?" Hoseok took a look at Jimin, who had his head against his palm and ready to fall off his chair in complete boredom with a finger lightly pointing to someone in the distance.

The older vampire followed the direction of the pointed finger right to the dance floor; people danced everywhere to the beat of the music, mostly drunken and dancing on each other like wild animals. He almost scowled at the taste of sweaty blood mixed with others' sweaty bodies (even though he was rather drunk himself) – that is, until he noticed one person that did catch his eye.

Mint ice cream...?

No no.

He rubbed his eye and blinked a few times just in case he had seen wrong. A mint haired boy? He was simply silent while he watched the mint haired boy walk out of the crowd and sit down at a chair, downing an entire shot and shaking his head with a rush. A sudden temptation grew over his body as he grabbed his own drink and downing it as well, getting hazier by the minute.

He patted Jimin's shoulder without taking a look at him and made his way right to the stranger without absolutely any idea what he was doing.

Hoseok sat flatly down on the chair opposite of the mint haired boy. It was almost impossible for him not to see the vampire as he had leant an elbow behind the chair, lifting his chin up in a curious manner with a slight tilt. Legs were spread dominantly yet very suggestively, with an air flowing around him showing that he was willing to keep the boy company if needed; the way his dark eyes scanned over the mint haired boy was something only animalistic that came from deep within and Hoseok himself didn't know why he was acting this way with a stranger.

"You. Tell me your name, sweetheart."

The mint haired boy squinted his eyes suspiciously; he looked Hoseok up and down. Hoseok didn't break character once. If anything, he was flattered this boy was thinking of his safety. Then, a glint of a smirk slowly emerged from him – according to Hoseok's thoughts, it seemed as if this boy had the same ideals he had.

"Yoongi, Mister." He teased with the last part. Hoseok could've smirked. "Why is it that you've chosen to talk to a nobody tonight, hm?"

"The name's Hoseok. And..." Silence fell upon them; his deep orbs found game in this little boy... So he spoke, taking a drink from the same cup the mint haired boy had. "Maybe a nobody is all I need right now."
