Getting to know...?

"You promise?"

Hoseok kissed the other person, tears threatening to fall from his eyes, pressing his forehead against the other.

"... I love you, Hoseok." The male wanted to tell him the same, however... His voice seemed caught in his throat. "You still promise, Hoseok?" Whatever was wrong with his voice, Hoseok only blamed himself for being a coward. So he tried to speak again. Yet still, nothing.

"Hoseok? Do you promise me?"

Why couldn't he speak? Why was it always here... that he could never speak?

"Do you promise?"

Does he promise? Of course he does. But saying it... Feels like a lie.

Then he opened his eyes.

The moment he realized he was dreaming again had him sighing with sadness; another day. Yet the same dream... Staring at the ceiling, Hoseok felt absolutely shitty. Every day, Hoseok wanted to fall deeper into a slumber that would never happen. Every single moment of his waking life, Hoseok always had to wonder;

Why did he have to be alive? Oh, right...

He was waiting.

And that waiting, in return, was slowly killing him. Hoseok's soul and will were slowly depleting over the hundred years he had been living for. He felt so close to gently drifting into sleep, but his vampire-genetics were not allowing him to die in any way. He had always thought he'd die of heart-break, but instead, it was just a never ending pain in his chest. He could always die a painful way, but why? That was just too much effort.

Hoseok usually stayed in bed for god knew how long, until he hit the pub to get as drunk as he could as he wasted all of his money with guilt. And he'd like to say, having Yoongi as his boyfriend now was going to change everything. That's what he truly wanted, so maybe he should believe it.

Instead of going to the pub, Hoseok could simply drink at home. That is, after his longer nap and dark thoughts swirling through his head for a few more hours.

Yoongi didn't live with Hoseok as of for now, so Hoseok was still expecting the younger boy to come visit him after his work. Apparently he worked in a shitty pizza delivery job to pay as much as he could for his apartment, and then he sometimes went to the pub to rap for money, so he could pay for food. Yoongi was a really hard working boy and Hoseok felt so incredibly bad... He wanted to make up for it by giving him half of his share of money, and that's what he planned to do tonight.

The reason he didn't see Yoongi for the past twenty years at that pub was because one: he was toddler and as such wasn't allowed to go, and two: he had just recently moved in this part of town. Hoseok wanted to cry out of depression; of course he moved in here so coincidentally. Of course he did...

"Jimin, what's up?" The younger vampire was frantic over the other end of the phone, making Hoseok worry for him like a parent.

"I-I dunno," He paused, "Jungkook has this girlfriend that doesn't like him, and—"

"Whoa hode up." Hoseok waved his hand, "You're saying you chose a boy who already had a partner? Jimin, you know that's pretty bad. Besides, how do you know she doesn't like him? Isn't there a reason they're dating in the first place?"

He could hear Jimin smash his head against a wall on the phone.

"Hoseoook! Listen to me, please." It sounded so desperate, but that was only because Hoseok was Jimin's only go-to person for trust, and Hoseok scolding him without hearing 'all of it' always made Jimin upset.

"Okay, okay, I'm listening."

"Hoseok, I have an idea. After I'm done with Jungkook, I want to take her away so he doesn't have to deal—"

Knock knock knock!

Oh, is Yoongi here?

"Keep talking, Jiminie, your plan sounds amazing." He felt a bit sorry for not listening but...

Yoongi

This was something for Hoseok, for a change.

Opening the door for whoever was behind it, Hoseok put down the phone and pressed his hand over the speaker so Jimin's voice was muffled. "Hey, Yoongi!" A bright smile took over his just precious saddened features, bringing the male into a big bear hug. It seemed to have caught the younger off guard, but he stayed quiet with a little tainted red against his cheeks. "What brings you here so early?"

"It's like, five in the afternoon! What are you on?"

"Oh, yeah. But don't you have a night job?"

"Yeah... I just wanted to take tonight off." He rubbed his face with a sigh. Hoseok could tell he was clearly exhausted and wanted to tell him the great offer as soon as he could.

"Hoseok? Hoseok, are you listening?"

Hoseok rolled his eyes and tsked, turning around from Yoongi as he brought his phone back to his ear. "I fully support your decisions, I'm very proud of you for making them. I'm gonna get ready to work, bye bye! I love you, Jiminieee~!"

Before he hit the end button, he could hear a confused Jimin on the other end of the line. "What? You work? Since when d-"

End.

Oh, that was a bad lie. Hoseok hoped Jimin could forgive him.

When he let Yoongi in with an apology about the call, he brought the situation back on hand. "Hey, actually, I have something to tell you."

Hoseok lead the male to the kitchen island, leaning against the marble with a bit of uncertainty. As for Yoongi, he blinked and asked, "What is... it?" Honestly he thought it was Hoseok ready to break up with him already – unfortunately Yoongi thought this a lot with anyone he dated.

"See... You work so hard but you get so little in return. I know—" He lifted a hand up, "You can reject me, I don't mind – just know I'm doing this because I genuinely care for you—" Hoseok lowered his hand, "I just want to help you out... by lending you some money. I'm actually too rich for my own good and I'd like to use it more on things that aren't my drinks. Y-you can look at this as another way your boyfriend sends you love?"

"Okay, that's nice..." Yoongi looked down with a shocked glint. Then he scratched his head and exhaled, wondering just what the fuck happened. "I mean-" Still rather speechless, he then looked at Hoseok with a twitch in his lip. "You're serious?"

"Dead serious." Hoseok smirked, getting himself a drink of whiskey. "I would like to do this, but if you don't want to I understand. It's a lot and I don't want you to feel burdened – not that you should, because you're already as tired as it is. Don't you want to do more than just struggle with trying to pay rent?"

Yoongi looked down, a bit flustered by how dead on Hoseok was. This was strangely like a 'Sugar Daddy' situation, he found, and that was a little strange. He wasn't one to do this kind of thing, especially to someone he just met. But once again, for some unspeakable reason, Yoongi knew he could trust Hoseok. Like... He knew he could trust him with everything.

"... Deal."

A small smile crossed Hoseok's face. "I'm so glad." He poured another alcoholic drink, downing half of it in one go. "Oh- and here's the thing. Did you want anything in return for it?"

"What?" Did he want anything? Well, if Hoseok was going to be a long-term boyfriend, then he really didn't need anything else. He was a man who would dedicate everything to keep the relationship going, but knew when to stop if things got wrong. "Maybe just... Your time, boyo."

"Boyo? Yoongi, Sweetheart," Hoseok chuckled, "You call me Master if you want to get kinky with me. With that in mind, we can start any time we want, Sweetheart - I have no preference. But first I'd like you to tell me what you do like and don't like during sex. Just to get ourselves used to everything."

"Yeah, okay. F-First, don't call me that anymore."

"Oh? Is there something you like to be called?" Hoseok smirked as he swigged his alcohol a little. Ah, actually he was only playing with him. Hoseok knew exactly what Yoongi loved to be called, but he couldn't say that. It would be unfair for only Hoseok to make every move when Yoongi should have all the free reigns.

It was what he deserved, after everything...

Watching as Yoongi gulped, he could tell his throat tightened up at the next sentence he was about to blurt. With a soft red covering his face, Yoongi looked away and stammered out, "P-Princess... I'd prefer that."

Hoseok almost wanted to cry. How he knew...

"It suits you... too well." He sighed longingly. For the next few seconds, Hoseok took in all of Yoongi's bashful features, before gulping down his last drink and tried forgetting it.

Just forget.

Forget it all.

Safe word. They had figured out a safe word for Yoongi, just in case things got too much and he needed an immediate halt. Yoongi told him what was too far and what was just right- Hoseok actually didn't know this part of Yoongi. He used to be such an innocent baby, what the hell happened? He wasn't complaining, though. This sounded like fun.

Unlucky for you thirsty readers, they had promised to only have sex after today, as right now it was supposed to be a day to get to know each other.

Call it... A date.

A date at home.

"What's your current job?"

"I technically don't have one."

Yoongi's face became extremely suspicious. "Then how will you pay for my expens-"

"- I don't need to go to it." Hoseok had taken another large substance of alcohol, "Because a friend of mine is the owner of a CEO and he gives me a second-in-spot ranking where I technically don't have to be there to do anything. It's quite generous of him; I feel like I don't deserve it."

Yoongi's jaw dropped. It was almost comical; Hoseok had to gulp down even more alcohol to forget his happiness. He didn't know why, but he felt like he didn't deserve to show happiness to Yoongi.

"You... god." Yoongi leaned back in his chair and huffed a laugh. "Are you serious?"

"Wish I wasn't. I'd love to give it to you if I could."

"O-Okay," Yoongi twitched an eyebrow, "Why do you ... Live here, then? If you don't mind me asking."

"Eh... I have a lot of memories here." He was telling the truth. Sometimes he could see the younger, more terrified Jimin, crawling around with that scared look in his eye from time to time. "I have a really, really close friend. I would like to call him family, actually. His name is Jimin."

Yoongi listened intently - if he wanted to make this relationship work, then he and Hoseok would need to listen to their history. Know the people they used to be, and bow they have changed. "He... unfortunately was in a really bad situation, and I helped him through it."

"Oh... You're very nice, I feel like that would be tough."

"Yeah, it really was tough on Jimin."

"Hoseok, I was talking about you."

Blinking furiously, Hoseok had tried blaming it on the alcohol. No way could someone have cared for him... It had been so long since someone said a comment such as that. He was so busy worrying about others, Hoseok had forgotten that people also cared for him.

Or so he'd like to believe. "... Oh." With an uncertain nod, Hoseok took another quick swig. "I did... Yeah. Yeah it was hard."

"You seem like a really caring guy..." Yoongi mumbled, looking him directly in the eye. Hoseok nearly lost his breath at the act; he was just so significantly beautiful. "Hey, Hoseok? I don't want to come off as weird... But..."

The vampire watched as he looked at the way Yoongi starrd at his hands, waiting until he spoke up once again. "... I don't say this, like, ever. But. Ever since we touched hands, it felt like a spark ignited in me." The male looked down and scratched his head. "I feel like you're a really great person and I don't ever think about being in a relationship with a person I meet in a club. You just stood out and it felt like... C-Can you feel the same way... Too? I mean, God- I sound so crazy."

A firm hand pressed onto Yoongi's slightly shaky one, making the younger stare back with nervous eyes. Yooni had never shown this much emotion to anyone before, so there really was something to this man he didn't quite understand yet. Whatever that spark was at the club, it definutely awakened something in Yoongi and he couldn't control it. Watching wildly, feeling his heart thump with devoted love over this stranger yet complete lover, a very honest smile crossed over Hoseok as he leaned forward.

"I do."
