The leader of the pack, Dire, was the alpha of the pack. A few months ago, he died in a fight with another wolf pack.

These seven were the most trusted of the Alpha Dire. Jimin and Jungkook being Dire's first and second sons respectively got made them special. Jimin was the new alpha after Dire's death. But he felt having more experienced and mature members in the pack to be the leader would do more good. So he insisted for Namjoon to become the leader. Although all the decisions are taken by Jimin, but Namjoon still helps him a lot. They all trust each other wholeheartedly and have an unbreakable bond.

A hight pitched howl echoed in the house, as the moonlight began creeping in through the windows. The adults glanced at the only pup and one of them stepped forward and growled. The pup growled back and climbed on the bigger wolf's back. He shook his head, and sat down.

"Someone is being too playful" The eldest chuckled, after shifting into his human form.

"She loves the full moon, even though she hasn't seen it ever" the leader laughed.

"I know right" Taehyung said amusedly, "Jimin, when are you planning on taking her out"

"I don't know" the alpha shrugged, "not now though. She's very small right now, and of course she's not ready to face that deadly world."

They watched the little pup playing with the another grown wolf, who was tackling her down and nuzzling his nose near her neck. Yoongi and Hoseok walked in, watching the two play. Jungkook glanced at the two adults and leaped at them as he saw them after almost a week. The pup lingered behind making small voices,

Yoongi pushed Jungkook away who was tackling them to the ground. The younger hunched down ready to pounce again, but Yoongi was quick to growl.

"I was just playing" Jungkook pouted, after changing into his human form.

"Its okay, Yoongi, let the kid be. He missed you" Jin said.

"Yeah Yeah" Yoongi rolled his eyes and patted Jungkook's head making the latter smile. "Now, where's my little pup?" He asked, looking at the small canine behind Jungkook's legs.

He opened his arms crouching down, and gestured her to come to him. Eira, pounced in his lap happily and licked him. She went to Hoseok and did the same to him, excited to see the two after so many days.

"Did they teach you how to howl properly?" Hoseok asked, "show me" Eira tilted her head at an angle staring at him, he motioned his hand towards the floor where moonlight was shining from the window. Little Eira raised her head a bit and howled in her shrill, high pitched voice, making the boys chuckled.

"Adorable" Yoongi said.

"Yay, good job!" Hoseok praised and petted her. She nuzzled against his hand and sat on his lap, letting out a small yawn.

"You shouldn't sleep like this" Jimin said, "what did I teach you?" Eira scrunched her face and turned towards Hoseok so now her back was facing Jimin and the others. Jimin sighed and slipped into his wolf form and walked towards her. He lifted her, holding her scruff in his mouth. Eira whimpered, and moved her paws.

He placed her in the ground, and stood in front of her. To keep her from leaving, his one paw was holding her onto place. He growled making the little one hunch down. In a matter of seconds Eira was sitting on the floor, not as a pup but as a human child. A three year old cute girl with dark blue eyes, skin softer than silk, her complexion pure as snow.

"Good girl!" Jin praised and lifted her off the cold floor. Jimin changed into his human form and chuckled.

"No pup!" She whined, moving in Jin's arms.

"No honey, this is better" he said.

"Pup!!" She said looking down at herself wondering why she became like this. The boys knew she liked being a wolf pup more.  Even Jungkook liked being a wolf more when he was small. It was hard to teach him how, why and when to change forms. 

"Its alright, C'mon its your bed time" Jimin said, Eira opened her arms for him to carry her. Jimin took her and placed her on her feet. She reached up for him again, but he shook his head and started walking to the stairs. When Jimin didn't listen to her the girl started crying.

"C'mon, princess don't do like that" Jimin said, crouching in front of her.

"Carry me" she said, wrapping her small arms around her brother's neck. He sighed and carried her up.

"You're so stubborn" he said.

"Its okay Jimin, she won't stay this small for long. You'll miss carrying her in your arms when she grows up." Yoongi said.

"Right, I agree" Jin said. The others nodded as well.

"That's why I always end up giving in" Jimin said, and pecked the most precious person to him. She became happy and opened her mouth, leaning in and licked his cheek. He laughed and pulled his face back.

"That's not how humans kiss" he said.

"Me pup" she said, pointing at herself, making the boys laugh.

"Yes, my pup, but you should know how to kiss like humans when you're not a wolf." he said. Eira giggled and shook her head.

"Wuv you!" She chimed out of nowhere.

Jimin chuckled and nodded, "I love you more"

"Jimin, put her to bed then come down" Yoongi said in a serious tone. Jimin nodded and took Eira upstairs.

"Wof..." Eira mumbled, looking out of the window. Jimin glanced out and then back at her, focusing on changing her clothes.

"There's no wolf" He said.

"Wof!" She pointed outside and hugged Jimin. He patted her back and looked out.

"There's nothing" he said and carried her, walking near the window. "See? There's no one." He walked back to the bed after closing the window and laid her down with himself beside her.

"Close your eyes" he said chuckling as he saw Eira staring at him with her big round eyes.

The girl sat up and climbed on top of him, laying on his stomach with her head on his chest. Jimin smiled and placed his hand on her back, gently rubbing circles. This was the way she slept when she wanted to feel warm and safe. It barely took five minutes for to drift into Dreamland when Jimin was near. He closed his eyes, hoping for a quick nap.

His shot open, as he focused on the faint sound that he heard just now. He glanced down at Eira to make sure she was sleeping and quietly placed her on the bed. He covered her with blankets and walked to the window. It was a different smell that he was sensing. Not of the members of his pack. It was somebody else. 

He opened the window and looked out, the scent was only getting stronger. His eyes judiciously scanned the area sensing any possible threat for him and his family. Jimin turned around on hearing the door being opened.

"Hyung, there's an intruder" Jungkook said. Jimin glanced at the sleeping toddler and took a deep breath, before following his brother downstairs.

"We need to get into action quick. We can't afford any of our members getting killed" Jin said. Silence fell in the room as they saw Jimin walking down with Jungkook. His expression was a different type of serious. 

"Who's it?"

"Quebeck" Yoongi said.

Jimin ran his hand through his hair in frustration, "We really to end this. Letting him go the last time was our mistake."

"Let's go" Namjoon said. The boys nodded. They were about to leave, when they heard a loud growl which due to their excellent hearing and smelling senses, they could tell wasn't that far from the house.

"Jungkook, stay here" Jimin said.

"No hyung, I-"

"No Jungkook." He interrupted him, "you'll stay here. Erie needs you. Promise me, you won't leave the house no matter what"

"But hyung, I want to help you. We'll defeat them toge-"

"Jungkook try to understand someone has to stay here with Eire. She's too young to be alone and you know it's dangerous for her." Yoongi said. They changed into their wolf forms, ready to leave and destroy the enemy.

"Why me? I'll come with you. We can tell Alex and Samantha yo look after her!" Jungkook said trying his best to convince the elders. Jimin growled and pinned him to the floor.

'Do as I say' Jimin's eyes told him with a stern glare. Jungkook looked down, submissive to his hyung and nodded subtly. Jimin nuzzled his nose on the younger's cheek assuring him that they'll be fine and come back alive.

The six wolves exchanged glances and nodded, making their way out of the house in the dark woods, which was only lit in few places where the tall trees allowed the moonlight to reach the ground.

Jungkook sighed, and punched the wall next to him. This night felt oddly familiar. His brain could picture his father going out that night when Quebeck attacked wanting to kill his father and take over the pack. Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok and Jimin had went with him to fight them. The alpha female —Dire's mate— Jungkook and Jimin's mother, was going to give birth about a month later. They won that night, most Queback's members were killed. Dire, being the leader, wanted his pack to be safe and was ready to give anything for their safety. So he did. He faught until he couldn't anymore.
 
After Eira's birth, the female alpha was week, she was already getting old and protecting the new born pup was even more tiring for her. One day, when Eira was only five weeks old, her mother gave up. Her body was laying on the ground, with vultures flying in circles in the air right above. The seven wolves stood silently, watching the little pup climbing on her mother's back to play. Jimin pulled her back and brought inside leaving the rest of them there.

Jungkook was pulled out of his thoughts, when he heard a whimper. His hands involuntarily moved up and brushed against his cheek, wiping the liquid that he didn't realize left his eye. He stood up and headed upstairs. Opening the door of the room, he saw Eira sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"What's wrong baby?" He asked, softly going near her. He sat on the bed and saw she was pulling her wet pants. "Aw come let's get you changed"

He took her to the bathroom and cleaned her, "Done, we'll get Eira new pants now." He said smiling at her.

"Minie" she said.

"Yeah, he's coming." Jungkook said.

"Minie go?" Eira gasped.

"No he's not gone, he will come in bit. And then we'll play with Eira" he said, done after successfully changing her.

"Koo, meat" she said, pointing at her mouth.

"We don't eat meat at this time" he chuckled, "How about milk?"

"Me milk!" Eira chirped.

"Yes, let's go." He said, and placed her on her feet, heading downstairs. The girl lingered behind Jungkook taking his name the whole way.

"Yes, what?" Jungkook turned to look at her.

"Koo!" She said again. Jungkook was going to say something, but they heard a loud thud near the front of the house. Eira startled at her place and gasped looking at Jungkook. But he didn't get a scent of anything odd. So he held her hand and sat her on her chair in the kitchen. He quickly prepared her milk and gave it to her in her sippy cup.

Eira was quiet and busy drinking the milk, using this opportunity Jungkook decided to go and check what the noise was. So he did, after glancing at his sister.

No one. There was no one. He frowned and closed the door, now getting a weird feeling about everything. He shut the door, went to the kitchen. Eira was nowhere close to finishing her milk. Just to lessen the tensed atmosphere and have his mind in peace, he decided to talk to her.

"Is it good?" He asked.

"Good" Eira replied and raised the cup in front his face.

"I don't like that" he said smiling at her.

"Dink" she said.

"Thank you Eira, but you can have it" he said and gave the cup back to her. His body froze as he was able to smell something now. "Baby, let's go to Kookie's room okay. Then you can sleep." He said, picked her up.

"He's alone with the child"

"We have to get her, we can't take chances this time."

"Don't worry, we'll get the girl and kill Jungkook."

The man smirked and nodded. They changed into their wolf forms and quietly moved towards the back of the house.

Jungkook patted the toddler gently trying his best to put her to sleep and he finally succeeded after fifteen minutes. The scent was getting more intense, and he heard the growl at last. He cracked his neck and stood up, knowing he'd fight until death to keep Eira safe. Jungkook left the room quietly, closing the door. He transformed into wolf and growled loudly at whoever dared to intrude this territory.

The back door went down, revealing two black wolves. One slightly shorter than the other. The taller one had eyes of two different colors, one yellow and one orange. The shorter had a big scar near his chest. Jungkook took a defensive position, ready to attack and kill them right there. He noticed the taller one, sniffing and looking around.

Jungkook followed his gaze and realized, he was looking up the staircase. Now he has to kill them. The first few minutes were spent only growling and glaring at each other. Then the shorter pounced at Jungkook, but Jungkook was quick to move from there and dodge him.

Jungkook had been trained by his hyungs and his father for possibly anything. He was once tested against a five beta subordinates. He was injured severely but won. These were still just two. He growled and bit the taller's neck jerking him away, while holding the shorter down with his forelegs. His grip loosened when one of them bit on his leg.

They tackled him down biting on his neck and made him bleed. Jungkook groaned, in pain and lifted his paw scratching the former's face with his sharp claws. The black wolf moved back as his eye started bleeding. Jungkook smartly took the chance to bite him down until he wasn't moving anymore. He sprinted towards the stairs, hoping the other damn animal hadn't yet reached Eira.

Jungkook jumped on the other male, making him hit the floor harshly and landing on his face. He pinned him to the ground, pressing his right paw hard on the black's chest. He heard him groan and change into a human figure due to hitting his head on the ground too hard. Now Jungkook had an advantage. He growled angrily on hearing his sister cry and straight away attacked the man's neck making him shout in pain and soon quiet down.

Blood dripped from Jungkook's mouth as he stepped back still glaring at the man. His chest rose and fell fastly. He glanced at Eira, sitting on the floor, crying. Her shirt was torn near her left shoulder, as the black wolf might have tried lifting her by her shirt. Jungkook couldn't afford to change form right now as the big wound on his neck and blood in his mouth wasn't anything he'd want her to see. He looked down and dragged the body out of the room, leaving the crying girl  for a while.

He came back still as a wolf, just after quickly washing his mouth. Eira reached for him extending her arms, knowing that he would transform and carry her then. But when he didn't, she started crying even more. Jungkook held the fabric of her shirt with his teeth and pulled her closer to him.

"Koo" she whimpered, Jungkook nuzzled his nose against her cheek and licked her affectionately hoping she would stop crying.

Once she was calm and sitting quietly between his forelegs, he checked if she was hurt anywhere. Using his the tip of his mouth, he removed the torn peice of fabric and saw a cut, which had a layer of dried blood now.

"Wof" she said, grabbing Jungkook's ear. She pointed at herself and said, "me pup!" She pouted at him, Jungkook leaned in and licked her face, making her giggle happily.

Eira stood up and climbed on him, playing the game of going either side of him one by one. Jungkook groaned a little when the toddler accidentally put her hand near his neck. He moved back, and saw Eira watching her hand. She was about to open her mouth and lick off the blood but, Jungkook was quick to stop her with his paw. He licked her hand clean, making her laugh as it tickled her and went back to playing.

"Jungkook?" He heard Yoongi's voice, then many footsteps running up the stairs. The door shot open with the six boys having concerned expressions. They sighed in relief on seeing that Jungkook and Eira were both fine.

"Are you okay?" Jin asked, taking Eira off of Jungkook for him to stand. Yoongi frowned kneeling down in front of him and made him turn his head. Their eyes landed on the deep wound on his neck which was there as a result of that stupid's bite. Jimin sighed and stared at him with a soft expression. He was himself injured, but seeing his brother like that made him want to destroy everything.

Yoongi moved aside, letting Jimin take his place. Jimin moved his hand to the younger's head petting him fondly. He leaned forward and rested their foreheads together.

"You should be careful Jungkook-ah" he whispered. The wolf nuzzled in the older's neck. "You protected your sister Kook, you're an amazing brother. I'm proud of you."

Jimin glanced at Eira, who was busy talking about 'wof' even if it was just her saying 'back', 'wof', 'koo', 'me', 'pup' that's all. Jin sat her on the bed, and the boys went to their respective rooms to get changed and cleaned. Hoseok and Taehyung were the first one done, so they took Eira to Hoseok's room giving time to the others to clean off their wounds. 

Jungkook groaned as soon as he changed into his human form. Yoongi and Jin were there with him, to see if it was serious or anything. Jimin and Namjoon soon came in the room, when Jungkook was lying on the bed, only wearing his sweatpants. There were wounds almost everywhere. A big deadly bite on his neck, deep scratch marks near his chest, and again a bite a little above his right wrist. Jimin couldn't bear seeing his brother groaning in pain and injured like this.

"Those were alphas" Yoongi said.

"Both of them?" Namjoon asked.

"At least the one who gave this" Yoongi pointed at Jungkook's neck. The wound was almost reaching his shoulder. "The other one must've been well trained, if not an alpha."

Jin was treating Jungkook's injuries, making him wince time to time.

"It feels like I'm back from that subordinate fight" Jungkook said chuckling a bit, "Hyung it hurts."

"I understand, it'll be better. Don't worry. Just don't go around running and hunting." Jin said, pressing the cotton carefully on his chest.

"Hyung" Jungkook said, as he remembered something, "Eira's got a cut on her shoulder. Probably when that wolf was taking her with his teeth. Check her please."

"Yeah, don't worry." Jin nodded and kept the things away as he was done treating Jungkook. "Sleep for a while, and tell any of us if you need anything. Don't get up."

Jungkook nodded, and said "Thanks  hyung" Jin smiled in response and patted his head. They left the room, only leaving Jimin behind.

The elder sighed and sat next to the younger brother.

"I faught like you today" Jungkook said.

Jimin chuckled and nodded, "yeah"

"Okay fine, not like you maybe, But I did fight"

"Of course you did, look at you." Jimin said, "I can't see you like this. Get well soon please."

"I'm okay hyung" Jungkook said, "it hurts little bit, but its worth it. I want a scar like Namjoon hyung. Even that other wolf had a scar."

"Namjoon's was an accident during a fight, he doesn't like it. And you want a scar on that pretty face of yours? Eira wouldn't come to you then" Jimin said. Jungkook laughed a little with him. "I'll go now, rest well." Jimin said and stood up, stroking his cheek gently. Jungkook closed his eyes and nodded against Jimin's warm hand. 

"Uh hyung" Jungkook stopped him. Jimin hummed and Jungkook continued, "What about Quebeck?"

"They're gone" Jimin said, "forever."

"You mean like our pack killed them?"

"Yeah. Things will be better this way."

Jungkook smiled and sighed in relief, "That's good"

Jimin left the room and went to see what Eira was doing. He heard a crying a sound, and opened the door of Hoseok's room.

"Jimin-ah! Thank God you came. Hold this little monster, she's been crying continuously" Namjoon said. Jimin laughed and entered the room, walking towards the bed. He sat down and took Eira in his lap.

"What did my pup do?" He asked, rubbing his nose against Eira's and wiping her tears.

"O-Oppa..." She said between a sob.

"Yes baby?" He said, "stop crying. Strong pups don't cry" he said.

"ouch" she said, touching her shoulder. Jimin nodded and took a proper look. The cut wasn't that deep, but still enough to make a three year old cry.

"Its okay, we'll make it better, then it won't hurt." he said. Jin brought the peice of cotton closer and she started moving again, as it gave her a burning sensation. "Its okay, Its okay" Jimin rubbed her back.

"Look what's that!" Taehyung sat next to Jimin, trying to draw the child's attention from her shoulder. "Is that Eira's teddy?" He asked taking the brown stuffed animal in his hand.

"Teddy..." Eira spoke in a small voice as she watched the Teddy bear in Taehyung's hand.

"Yeah, what is it saying?" He said, bringing the teddy's face close to his ear and nodded, pretending that it told him something. "Teddy's saying Eira is strong and doesn't cry. She's the princess right?"

"No, pup" She said shaking her head, "Me pup!"

The boys laughed, "Princess is better Eira" Taehyung said chuckling.

"I don't know why she likes being a pup so much" Jimin said shaking his head while smiling at her.

"Koo" Eira said.

"He's sleeping, and you should too" Jimin said standing up once Jin was done. Eira yawned and placed her head on her brother's shoulder. She lightly waved at the boys making them smile and wave back.

"Hyung!" Jungkook called loudly, Jimin being the nearest to his room in the hallway decided to take a look.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Koo" Eira chimed, her sleepiness vanished in a second.

"I wanted to see Eira" he said grinning sheepishly. Jimin sighed and came inside, he sat her on the bed beside Jungkook. Eira stood up, taking support from Jungkook's biceps. She was about to climb on him, but Jimin stopped.

"No baby, kook is hurt. Don't do like that" he said.

"Its okay hyung, it doesn't hurt that much" Jungkook said, and held his sister's hand letting her sit on his stomach.

"Koo ouch" she said, leaning forward to see his wounds. Jungkook chuckled and nodded. Eira looked at him with a pout, her eyes were full of fear. Tears filled in as she stared at Jungkook.

"I'm okay baby, don't worry" Jungkook said, fighting the huge urge to hug her and shower her with kisses.  She was just three, but always considerate towards her brothers according to her age. Whenever they were hurt or sad, Eira was the first one to cry holding them.

A tear slipped down her puffy cheek she shook her head and rubbed her eyes to clear the vision in front of her. Jimin smiled and lifted her off of Jungkook.

"He's okay. Look he's smiling" Jimin said, turning her towards Jungkook. The boy nodded and tried to sit up. Letting a small groan he finally sat up without moving his neck much.

"C'mere" Jungkook opened his arms for Eira to come to him. The girl leaned towards him and sat on his lap. "Look, I'm fine. Kookie's strong remember? If I don't be okay then how will protect my princess?" He said.

"Koo..."

"Yes, I'm good"

"Wuv you"

"I love you too baby" he said and kissed her forehead and chuckled when Eira kissed his cheek by licking him. "You should really learn to kiss like a human."

"Me pup!" She said, tapping on his leg aggressively.

"Aish! Okay Okay."

Phew, this was long.

Idk how I came up with this idea but guess I just did... 😅

I wanted to write a wolf fiction for a long time, and I thought why not first experimenting in a one-shot. So here it is.
