"Are you insane!", I heard Liam voice. He sounded angry. I looked over at him. He was angry. "Dorinda, you can't let him kill you. Why would you want him to?", he asked.

"Cause," I said, giving him a sorry look, "my best friend needs help. I'm sorry.", I said.

I slowly wrapped my hand around the stick, held my breath, and pull it out. I gasped and threw the sick aside.

"Ouch.", Emma sarcastically said. I didn't pay her no mind though, I just held my breath again and got up from the floor. I walked up to Lucas, slowly. I felt my leg sting each time I took a step. Once I was in front of Lucas, I looked into his now green eyes again.

"I can't.", he whispered to me. "I can't kill you.",

"You have to. I want you too.", I said, lying, giving a fake smile. "Just make it fast.", I felt more nervous as I reach out and put my hand on his cheek, I leaned forward to his ear and whispered, "Take care of Kayla for me.", I said, hoping Emma or any other vampire to hear me. If Emma did change Kayla, Kayla wouldn't know how to deal with a new life.

What if new born vampire go crazy hungry and kill. And she wouldn't be able to take care of her self. And if she doesn't go back to her parent, at least she got someone to help her out.

He nodded his head once, "Oka-"

"Break it up.", I heard Emma behind me.

Before I lose the courage and not do it, I kissed his cheek. I didn't care if anyone saw, not even Liam. I know it sounds mean of me, but I care more about Lucas.

Even if he is the one that's going to take my life.

I took once last look at best friend, she looked like she was in a peaceful sleep. I turn to look at Lucas again, "I'm ready.", I said.

Lucas looked in my eye and I looked up at his. His eyes looked sad. Without moving eye contacted, he softly placed his hand behind my neck and leaned forward. I felt his cold lips on my neck. I closed my eyes tightly, knowing it's going to hurt. My breath became hard and I tired to control it by holding by breath, but it didn't work.

Then I felt him kiss my neck. Too my surprised, my eyes open quickly, shocked. His mouth than moved to my ear, whispering real quickly, I barley herd him, "Remember what I pulled out of my bed before I left?", he asked. In a quick second, his right arm wrapped around me, pulling me in his chest and with his left hand, he pulled out the .45 gun from his bed and pointed it at Emma.

I didn't even notice when Octavian, Akera, and Hektor ran up to stand next to us, holding out their swords towards Emma direction.

"Lucas!", Emma yelled in surprised. Her eyes were wide open and mouth seemed to drop.

"Un-tie them.", he yelled at Emma big guys that was standing where Jasmine, Liam, Eli, Romy, Isabelle, Luna, and Mitchel was. "And bring her over,", he said to the guy who was holding Kayla in his arms. The guy didn't move but looked at Emma for an answer on what to do. "Now!", he yelled at Emma.

She looked at us dangerously. Her eyes were dangerously looking in Lucas eyes, "You wouldn't shot me," she began slowly walking towards us, "you to scared. Have you even ever used that gun?",

"Don't take another step, that's an order.", he said, sound like a prince now. Finally, he isn't letting Emma take over his life. His parents are the next ones he has to work on.

Emma rolled her eyes, but stopped, "Damn, you think just cause you a prince, means your going to order me, me. I'm Emma Carson!", she said, spitting out her name like it really means anything.

"Yeah," Akera said out of nowhere, "Just some daughter to some non-magic vampires.", she said, laughing.

"Bitch!", Emma yelled.

"Take one to know one, catea", Akera yelled back.

"Oh, shut up, Akera. Are you still mad about Marco, cause trust me, he wasn't a good lay.", Emma said.

Akera chuckled, walked forward to standing in front of Emma, "Don't worry, Emma. I got over him 12 years ago," Akera chuckled again, "Let just say, he not able to give children now.", than out of nowhere, Akera pouched Emma in the face. Emma fell to the floor, looked up at Akera, 'No one fools around behind Printesa Akera Illena Rusnov back.",

Emma growled at her and with her vampire speed got up and pouched Akera in the face, "Don't ever touched me again, mutt.", she growled.

Akera growled back as she pouched back. The two starting fighting. After a couple of seconds, Emma somehow ended up on Akera. Both their hand were around each other throat, growling at each other.

Something than caught my attention, Akera nails start to get long and pointy. Both of her canine teeth grow an half an inched longer. Akera put her hands on Emma chest and throw her off of her. Emma land about six feet about. Akera got up and for the first time in my life, I saw my first real live werewolf.

Her fur was midnight black and her eyes were now a dark-purple color.

Before they could start fighting again, Lucas raised the gun in the hair and pulled the trigger, "Stop it, both of you.", he yelled at them.

"Akera, vin aici.", Octavian said something in Romanian. Akera turned her head to look at her brother, quietly growled at her brother, but walk over to her brother side.

Lucas now pointed his gun at Emma, "Now like I said, let them go and give us the girl, Emma.", he said.

"You kill her first.", Emma yelled really loud as she pointed at me. "She isn't one of us. She human, human! She something to drink when you thirsty. She not someone to lo-", her words got cut off when Kayla starting coughing up blood again.

I worked up at my power to push myself out Lucas arms and run as fast I can on a hurt leg to her. I didn't care that I could be attack at the guy holder her or the other s near us.

"Oh, Kayla, babe.", I said, cupping her face with my hands, "Stay strong. Please, I'm going to get you help.", I said. I then heard another gun shot behind me and Tyson name being called. My head snapped behind me to see what happen. Emma was holding her brother head on her lap. Lucas shot him in the chest I guessing.

Emma started to cry, holding her brother. "Kill them.", Emma said to the big guys. Octavian and Hektor quickly changed into their werewolves formed and they both took out one big guy as their start towards them. The guy that was holding Kayla shoved her in my arm and went to help his partners. I lost my balance and fell on the floor with Kayla in my arms. Her body felt heavy.

I didn't brother to watch the fight, my focused was on Kayla. Her eyes were open again and her breathing was the same as it was a couple of minute ago. Slow.

"We're going to be safe.", I said. I wasn't sure though. I mean, anyone of these big guys could attack me at any second. "Your going to be again. Keep you eyes open.", I order her as her eyes began to close slow. "Stay awake.", I said, shaking her. "Kayla, you have to stay awake. For me, please.", I said.

"I-I'm so tired.", her voice seemed to crack. "I'm just going to close them for a second.",

"No, keep them open.", I said, shaking her again, "Kayla, I said to keep-",

I got cut off when I heard someone scream right behind me. I turn my head and saw it was one of the big guys got stable threw the chest with a sword, a sword Liam was holding him. My eyes widen, wondering how he got free.

"You okay?", he asked me as he knelt down next to me. I looked back at Kayla, nodding my head. Her eyes were barley open.

Suddenly I felt something i couldn't explain to. Unimaginable pain shot through my body and my breathing became short hard panting as I tried to get air through my lung, but a harp stingy pain only came. I gasped out so loud and I sware my eyeballs could go out my socket. I heard Liam scram 'No!". I than screamed out loud in pain.

I heard Emma voice, "If I can't have Lucas, he can't have you.", she said, pulling of the knife from my back. I gasped out again. I couldn't scream or talk. I was panting really hard. I pressed my hand on my back and brought my hand to my face now, blood.

"Lu-Lucas!", I screamed his name with all the energy I had.

My vision starting to become dizzy. I look turned my head to looks at Liam, but he wasn't at my side anymore. But I did see Lucas finally noticing what Emma did, he was about to run, but Emma grabbed my hair and laid the knife on my heart, "Run and I'll kill her.", she said.

My heart was betting so fast, I didn't think it was possible. Please God, don't let her kill me, I thought and tears slid down my face.

"Please, Emma, don't.", I said as I began to cry. This is how I'm going to die? In the hands of Emma?

"Sorry, sweetie.", she said as she pressed the knife into my chest a little, it didn't break skin, but it could've if she just kept going. I winced at the pain from my back and the knife that could kill me any time soon.

"Now, I'm going to give you another chance Lucas, kill her, and it'll all be over. We can get married and rule together.", she said, sounding like if Lucas did kill me, he'll marry Emma. Fat chance.

Lucas walked very slowly and carefully, "Emma, just put the knife down-",

"Don't tell me what to do, you pathetic asshole, choosing this girl over your own kind. Well the girl going to die no matter what either from me, or from you. I don't care. And you'll always remember her face, scared and helpless and you'll know it'll be your faul-hey!", she scream when I gather all my strength and grabbed the knife from her, surprisingly she wasn't gripping her hand around it hard. I acted fast and stuck her in the left side of her stomach. She scream in pain and her fang flashed out of her mouth.

I lost my balance and fell on the grass on my back. I ended up laying aside next to Kayla. Fear washed over my when I saw her eyes were close. I wanted to scream, kick, pouch, and ripped out at Emma. I heard Emma scream again and I turned my head to see Lucas was on top of Emma. The knife was in Lucas hands and was about to put the knife in Emma heart, but Emma pulled up her hands, "Wait, please.", she said, sounding like she was about to cry, "Lucas, don't. Please, I love you.",

Lucas didn't hesitate when he struck her in the heart, he face was so close to her as he spoke, "But I don't love you.", he hissed at her. Emma mouth was slightly open in shock and her eyes looked in pain.

And that was the last thing I saw before blacked out.
