"Dorinda, I have to tell you something.", Jasmine said as she walked with me to Lucas office. I didn't want to go alone. I know, I'm pathetic. But Jasmine did have to see him about something.

"Okay.", I said.

"I'm leaving,", she said quickly, I almost didn't hear her. I opened my mouth to tell her no and to stay. She the only 'friend' I have here, other than Isabelle. If she leaves, i'll have no one. I don't get along with the others as well as her and Isabelle!

"Don't worry," she said, smiling. "I'll be back. I only be gone a month. My brother, Robert, wife is having a baby and I haven't really seen my family in a few months and, oh hey Liam!.", Jasmine said, grinning at me.

I looked next to Jasmine and saw Liam. My cheeks turn light pink. He was wearing normal blue jeans and a black shirt that looked tight on his skin, which made his tattoo and his muscles stand out.

"Hey,", he smiled at Jasmine than lowered his smile, like he was disappointed or upset. "Hey, Dorinda.",

"Hi.", I raised my head. I'm still kind of mad at him. But I know I should just get over it. He was just trying to be caring, knowing how angry Lucas can get.

"Can I talk to you?", he asked.

"Um," I said, looking at Jasmine to see if it was fine with her since I was walking with her.

"Yeah.", she gave me a grinned, I didn't like it. "Go talk, or something.", she giggled. My blush grew. I knew what she meant. She than went on her way. About seven second, Jasmine was out of sight.

"Hey, look Dorinda, I'm sorry, I didn-",

"Don't,", I said, cutting him off, smiling. "You were just being caring.",

"Still, I want to apologize. I'm sorry.",

"It's okay.",

"Great," he smiled, than frown, "Be careful with your thoughts around him.",

I stood there for a few second. "Y-yeah, I will.", I strutted. My heart ached, I like Liam and I mean like-like. I can't tell him I went to see Lucas last night and he bit me and than we made out.

"Good.", he said, taking my hand in his. My chest felt heavy, his hands were warm. "I have to admit, I was nervous last night when I went to your room last night after you stromed off.", He twined are fingers together, "Your important to me."

I felt nervous now, "I am?", I asked, sounding stupid.

He gave a soft chuckled, "Yes.",

I looked up at his emerald green eyes, they were a perfect shade. They stuck out so much. But they also reminded me of Lucas in the painting. After a few second, I haven't realized he gotten closer to me. I bit my bottom lips but I stopped when I felt a sting. My bottom lip still hurt a little from when Lucas bit my bottom lip while we made out...

"I'm so lucky I'm a pixies.", he said.

"Why?",

"Cause than I can be with you.", he said. Be with me.

It took me a few seconds to get what he meant. I remember now what Jasmine told about which races could be together. Pixies and humans can be together. Vampires and humans can't be together.

Wait a minute, if vampires and humans can't be together. Then how was Savanna and Lucas were together?

I gasp when I felt Liam lips on mine. My eyes flew open. I didn't even realized he was even that close to me. I was mostly thinking that I didn't notice. His lips were so warm and his lips were nice and full. I closed my eyes and put my hands on his shoulders. The kiss was slow.

About fifteen seconds later, I felt weird. I don't like the fact that I was just making out with Lucas last night then now kissing Liam. I felt like a tramp. Oh, God.

I was about to pull away, but Liam hand were on my back. I didn't even realize. But he pulled me closer to him and kissed me again

Another ten seconds passed and I just had to pull away. "Liam, I,"

"I like you, a lot.",

His eyes were looking straight into mine. He likes me...I like him...but I also like Lucas. But nothing could ever happen between Lucas and me. But nothing could ever happen between Liam and me since Liam just works here and he could leave, I can never leave. God, I never had this problem before! I have had boys like me before...

They weren't the sexy I-Have-To-Have kind of boys, but some boys have like me before, I just never dated them cause I didn't like them back. But I never had two boys like me-if Lucas even likes me. I'm so confused.

So what's wrong with Liam liking me? I mean, if we have a relationship, it doesn't mean it would last forever and I just want to be with someone right now to make feel special and Liam makes me feel that way.

"I, um,", Come on Dorinda, say it. "I like you too.", I said.

Liam smiled, "Good or this would've been awkward.",

I forced a laugh, "Yeah.". I than raised my eyebrows, "What time is it?",

Liam moved his left hand away from my back and looked behind my right shoulder, "Eight-thirty-fiv- ",

"Shit.", I said, pulling away. "I'm late.". Crap, I was supposed to be at Lucas office at eight-thirty. Before Liam could say anything else, I ran off. "I'll see you late.", I yelled before I turned around to the next hallways.

I ran throw the hallways. I than finally got the steps. Damn, I haven't realized how many steps there actually were. I ran up, their were about fifty-seven steps or even more, I lost count after thirty.

Once I got to the top, I took a second to catch my breath. "Damn.", I muttered. Holding my left side of my waist.

I than starting running again to Lucas office. Hopefully Jasmine would still be there. I ran up to the door, not even bothering to stop or knock and I ran inside the room, "Sorry I'm late.", I said.

I realized Lucas wasn't alone and Jasmine wasn't here. Some guys that looked his early or his mid-twenties. He was tan, but not crazy tan. He had black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing black dress pants and grey shirt. I saw on his neck was a tattoo of black filled in star.

Realized I probably disturbed them, I spoke quickly, "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt.",

I saw Lucas was a little angry, probably cause I just walked in. But I didn't know they was someone in here!

"It's okay.", the guy said. He had an accent. "I'm Octavian, Prince of Solanaceae (Nightshade).", he turned his head to Lucas. "And illa (She) is?",

Lucas looked uncomfortable, but he spoke, "Dorinda, she's one of my servos (Slaves) and she's leaving.", he said, moving away from his desk and walking over to me.

"It's okay Lucas.", he said, walking over to stand next to Lucas, "She didn't know. Calm your temper. We don't need you mad when we sign the papers, da (Yes)?", he said, looking at me and Lucas at the same time.

Lucas calmed down, but just a little., "Yes. Lets go finish. Dorinda, just go wait outside until I'm finish.",

I nodded my head, "Okay.", I said. Before I turned around, I caught eye-to-eye with Lucas, his eyes looked sad. Why? I finally turned around and walked out, closing the door behind me.

I sat down against the wall pulled my knees against my chest. Why did Lucas had such sad eyes?

After twenty-five minutes of waiting, I was walking back and fourth in the hallways, thinking of what to do, Lucas door finally open and Octavian and Lucas walked out, shaking hands. "I'll talk to my father and see where this goes.", Octavian said.

"And I'll do the same.", Lucas said.

"Hope to see you soon. I will show myself out.", Octavian said. He looked at me and Lucas, he smiled than walked away.

Once Octavian was out of sight, Lucas looked at me. "Come.", he said and walked into his office.

I walked in, Lucas was already sitting in his chair. "Who was that?", I asked.

"Prince Octavian Trenton Rusnov, of werewolves.", he said.

"Oh.", I said. Werewolves. Like I said before, my life getting weirder and weirder everyday.

Lucas grabbed a few paper off his desk and shuffled them together and picked up a stapler and stapled the papers together.

I notice on his desk was Savanna journal. That brought back the question I had earlier. "And that'll be?", Lucas asked, not even looking at. He was reading throw the papers.

"Um, well, I heard that humans and vampires can't be together. So my question is,", I stopped, not sure how much father I should go.

Lucas stopped reading and looked at me, "Finish.", he said.

"Um,",

"Finish!", he said a little quick and hard, making me glare at him for being rude.

"How were you and Savanna together?", I finally asked.

I saw Lucas lip twitch in suprise. "I haven't been asked that question since 1953.", he laughed, but it wasn't in amusement. "I guess no one told you.",

I shook my head, "No.".

"Well, that rule, that say which races can be together. It was never like that. Any races could be together. Humans even knew about our race and other races. As you learned.", he said, looking at the book than me. "But it all ended once Savanna and I were married.", he said, coldly, smashing his fist into his desk.
