We were still on the road. I only wanted to stay in the R.V so Grace refused to leave my side. Dale was driving as usual. I was tired I had barely slept for a full night. When I do I just see Amy being eaten by a walker and Jacqui in the explosion so I wake up crying. We had come to a stop. The radiator hose must have given up again. I stepped out of the R.V. We were gonna be here for a while.

We were looking for anything we could find. I was looking with Grace, Lori, Carl, Sophia and Aria. I was rummaging around the trunk of a car and saw a sports bra. I took seeming as I didn't bring one with me because I didn't need one but now that I'm older I needed it. I kept searching for any food and water.

"Lori, under the cars." Rick shouted. I looked behind me and saw a herd of walkers coming our way. I was under a car with Carl. Sophia was under the one next to us. I didn't know where Grace was. I looked around and saw her safe under a car with Rick. I felt a wash of relief come over me. The walkers were right next to the car we were under I put my hand over my mouth so I wouldn't make any noise that would lead them to us. I felt something grab my hand I looked down and saw that Carl was holding my hand. He obviously knew I was scared of what was happening. I knew Grace would be safe because as if Rick would let anything happen to her.

I heard Sophia scream. I looked to the side to see a walker crawling under the car to get to her. She got out from under the car and ran down the hill next to the highway. I saw Rick tell Grace something, she nodded and he got out from under the car and chased after Sophia. I checked to see if their were anymore walkers, luckily their wasn't. I let go of Carl's hand and went to the car Grace was under. I made sure that she was ok. Carol was crying, I couldn't blame her. It was her daughter, I would be the same if it was my sister.

A few hours later, we were moving cars. Rick came back but Sophia didn't. Daryl and Rick went to look again they hadn't come back yet. We were all worried about Sophia. She could have been bitten, scratched or maybe she's been eaten by a walker. I may not have gotten on with her but I don't want her dead or anything. "Why aren't we all out there looking? Why are we moving cars?" Glenn asked. I guess some people still need to be here in case she comes back.

"We have to clear enough room so I can get the R.V out. Dale said. We would never be able to get the R.V out with all those cars blocking the way. It was becoming later now and no sign of Sophia at all. Daryl and Rick still hadn't come back yet, I guess they must have found something.

"We're not going anywhere till I get my daughter back." Carol said. She might never see her daughter again which was the worst thing in the world. I walked up the steps of the R.V and sat down at the table. I couldn't bare standing out there anymore. I saw blood by the bathroom door. I guess a walker came in and someone killed it. Jacqui's words were going round my head. I will always look after my sister until the day I die. I was pulled from my thoughts by someone knocking on the door to the R.V.

"Hey, do you wanna look for stuff that could be useful?" I heard the voice say. I recognised it as Carl.

"Yeah. I need something to focus on." I said to him. I walked out the R.V, Grace came running up to us.

"Y/N, where are you going?" She asked me. I turned to Carl then looked back to her.

"Me and Carl are going to search for something useful." I said to her.

"Can I come with you?" She asked. I looked at Carl and he shook his head I nodded agreeing with him.

"No, I don't want you getting hurt." I said to her. I turned to T-Dog. "Hey Dog, can you keep an eye on Grace please?" I asked him.

"Of course I can." He said.

"Thanks." Me and Carl started walking and looking in cars. "So, what are we searching for in particular?" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders.

"Weapons, food and water. Just so we get more supplies really." He said I nodded. I saw a whole kit of weapons. I stopped Carl and nodded to the car.

"Theirs a whole kit of tools in there. We could use them as weapons." I said. He tried opening the door. On the second pull it opened. He carefully lent over the man to get the tool kit.

"Their stuck." He told me.

"Be careful." I said to him he nodded. He managed to get the tools but he fell backwards after he got them. "Are you ok?" I asked him while helping him up.

"I'm completely fine." He told me. We walked to where my dad was. "Shane!"

"Dad!". I said. He turned to face us. He was currently working on a car. Carl dropped the weapons on the ground in front of us.

"Y/N, Carl, what is it?" Dad asked us.

"We found something cool." Carl said to my dad. "Shane, check it out." Carl said.

"It's an arsenal." I added.

"That's cool, guys." Dad said. He just blew us off. What a dick move? "Go give 'em to Dale." He told us. I walked away but Carl stayed. I made my way to T-Dog.

"Hey, T-Dog. Thanks for keeping an eye on Grace." I told him. T-Dog was like a second dad to us so he didn't really care.

"It was my pleasure." T said. I went back in the R.V and sat at the table. When I heard the door open. Who was it now?

"Hey, What did you and Carl talk about?" Grace asked me. She won't let this slide until I tell her.

"I just asked him what we needed to find. I told him I saw a kit of tools. He fell backwards I helped him up and asked him if he was ok and that was it." I told her. She just smiled at me.

"Well, that's an improvement at least." She told me. An improvement. "What happened during the walker herd coming, I saw you and Carl under a car together?" She smiled at me once she asked the question.

"I was scared because I didn't know where you were. I felt something hold my hand and I saw that it was Carl's." I told her.

"I think someone has a crush on you!" She whispered shouted so no one would hear her. I hit her arm playfully.

"Shut up!" I whispered to her. I looked out the window and saw that Daryl and Rick were back. No Sophia. "Their back!" I said to her.

"You didn't find her?" Carol asked them. I felt bad for her no one deserves to go through this.

"Her trail went cold." Daryl said. They must have been following her trail for ages if they only just got back.

"We'll pick it up again at first light." Rick said to her.

"You can't leave my daughter out there on her own to spend the night alone in the woods. Out in the darks no good." Carol said. She started to break down.

Today some of us were gonna look for Sophia. I told Dale and T-Dog to look after Grace while I went looking for Sophia. We all stuck together. Aria was walking Daryl. I was walking with Carl. We saw a tent, no sign or trace of Sophia. We started hearing church bells. We started walking towards it. It was a Catholic Church so it didn't have any space for a bell. Rick opened the doors only to see a few walkers sitting down on the pews. It was nothing we couldn't handle.

When we took them out we called out for Sophia. Nothing. Glenn found the source of the sound. It was coming from a speaker, Glenn pulled the cables out so it wouldn't make any more noise and attract more walkers. Rick, Carl, Carol, me and Lori walked into the church. I stood next to Carl he held my hand and we smiled at each other. Is it possible that my best friend might like me back. Carol was asking for forgiveness from god.

We were gonna start walking back to the R.V when dad said that he and Rick were going to look for Sophia a bit longer. "Dad can I join you guys?" I asked him.

"Ok, but you stick by my side ok? I don't want you getting hurt." He said to me. I nodded and smiled. Carl asked if he could go. He was allowed to but he had to be careful. We started walking when we saw a deer. Me and Carl started walking slowly up to it. Our dad's were watching us. We almost touched it when I heard a gunshot. The deer was shot I looked to my side and Carl was laying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

That was when my whole world shattered to pieces.
