I couldn't believe this. We could lose our home. We'd have to wander again. I'd have to keep Grace safe. There would be no way I'd ever want to lose her. We were having a group meeting today. About the possible events that could happen. "Now, you both said you found Tyreese's group here?" Glenn asked Carl and I looked.

"Yeah." We both said to him.

"We secured this." Glenn said, he'd drawn a rough map on the floor with chalk.

"He thought he came through here." Carl said and he pounded it out.

"Means there's another breach. Okay. The whole front of the prison is unsecure. If walkers just strolled in, then it's gonna be came for a group of armed men." Glenn said to us and that made sense. They'd get in easy.

"Why are we even so sure he's going to attack? Maybe you scared him off." Beth said to the others and I have a feeling this guy would come and attack.

"He had fish tanks full of heads. Walkers and humans. Trophies. He's coming." Michonne said and that was definitely pointing to him attacking us.

"We should hit him now." Glenn said to us and that sounded like a stupid idea.

"What?" Beth asked him.

"He won't be expecting it. We'll sneak back in and put a bullet in his head." Glenn said to us and that was one way to do it.

"We're not assassins." Carol said and that we weren't. Not yet at least.

"You know where his apartment is. You and I could end this tonight. I'll do it myself. Okay." Glenn said to Michonne and he nodded. I guess that was the plan.

"He didn't know you were coming last time and look what happened. You were almost killed. Daryl was captured. And you and Maggie were almost executed." Hershel said to Glenn. But that wouldn't change anything.

"You can't stop me." Glenn said and Grace looked at me. Worry all over her face.

"Rick would never allow this." Hershel said to him and he's right. Rick wouldn't allow this.

"You really think he's in any position to make that choice?" Glenn asked and he wasn't. He was broken.

"Think this through clearly. T-Dog lost his life here. Lori, too. The men that were here. It isn't worth any more killing. What are we waiting for? If he's really on his way, we should be out of here by now." Hershel said and we had nowhere to go.

"And go where?" Glenn was asking the question we all wanted to know the answers too.

"We lives on the road all winter." Hershel said to us but this was different.

"Back when you had two legs and we didn't have a baby crying for walkers every four hours." Glenn said and we would be at risk.

"We can't stay here." Hershel said to him.

"We can't run." Glenn said and I saw Maggie walk away. "All right. We'll stay put. We're gonna defend this place. We're making a stand." Glenn said and that's when he sat on with floor again.

"Carl and Y/n, we will go down to the tombs. We need to figure out where the breach is." Glenn said to the two of us.

"You got it." Carl said to him and I nodded.

"We got this." I said with a smile.

"You'll need some help." Michonne said to us and she started to come closer to us.

"No, in case anything happens, I need you out here. Who's on watch?" Glenn asked. I looked around. We were all here apart from Rick. "Damn it." He said and he walked off. That's when I stood up along with Carl and Grace.

"Promise mw you'll come back." She said to me and I looked at her with a smile.

"I promise." I said to her and I looked in to where the cells were. "Go find Maggie." I said to her and that's when she went in there. Aria and Ellie following. It was just Carl and I. It wasn't long until Glenn came back and we started taking down as many walkers as we could. When we came back. I was glad we were still alive.

"The tombs outside the boiler room are overrun again." Glenn said when we came back in.

"That whole section had been cleared." Beth said as she locked us back in.

"Well it's nots anymore." I said to her and it would keep getting overrun.

"It's a steady stream of walkers." Carl said to her.

"We're wasting time. The Governor is supposedly on the way and we're stuck in here with walkers." Hershel said to us and that was better than being outside.

"Trapped between a rock and a hard place." Carol said to us and that was true.

"For the last time, running is not an option." Glenn said to us and maybe we needed to start thinking about it.

"Glenn, if the tombs have filled up again. It may just be a matter of time before they push in here." Carol said to him and I hadn't thought of that.

"Or until some fence gives way." Beth said to us.

"What if one of them herds is passing through? Or settled?" Axel asked and we wouldn't last with that on.

"Can't handle that with just the few of us." Carol said to us and we couldn't fight that much.

"Okay. All right, we need...we just need to scout the far side of the prison. Find out what's going on." Glenn said to us. I think I preferred Glenn as our leader.

"You're going out there?" Hershel asked him, and I guess he would.

"Take a car and makes it quick." Glenn said to him. That was a plan.

"I'll drive." Axel said and he started walking over.

"No, you stay here. Help with the fortifications. I'll take Maggie." Glenn said and I saw that Grace was outside our cell.

"You sure she's up to that?" Hershel asked and I went to see Grace.

"You came back." She said to me and I looked at her.

"I did but don't hug me. I'm covered in blood." I said and she looked at the vest I was wearing.

"Yeah, I don't fancy getting blood on my clothes." She said to me and that was she smiled. That's when I tried to get my vest off.

"Let me help." Carl said and that's when he came over and helped me out. I was very grateful.

"Thank you." I said to him once it was off. He then started to walk away.

"Anytime Y/n." He said to me and headed outside. After a while of me and Grace talking that's when we headed outside laughing. The laughing stopped when we heard a single gunshot. Followed by Axel dropping to the ground in front of us.

"Get behind me." I said to Grace. That's when I heard rapid gunfire. We ran and hid. That's when I got my gun out that Dad had given to me.

"Y/n, I'm scared." She said to me and I took her hand.

"I know." I said and we ran and got down by a wall.

"Beth!" Maggie shouted. "Here!" She shouted again. I was still hidden. Carol was on the ground. I started shouting at the tower.

"Get back in now!" I shouted and Grace got back inside. That's when I went to where Carl was. That's when they rammed the gates. With a vehicle. It must've been carrying something. Especially since it had just stopped. That's when the back opened. Walkers. Walkers in the yard. Exactly where Hershel was. I was glad that Grace, Aria and Ellie were inside. I kept looking at the yard. We needed to take care of these walkers. I looked beyond the gates. A hoard was coming. We saw Glenn arriving in the pickup coming. We had to open the gates. But at least we could attack the mass of walkers. I started taking shots at some of them. Getting a few of them down. Once the car was in we closed the gates back up. This was just the first attack. I knew that there would be more to come.
