It felt weird being back with someone. Other than Grace and Carol that was. All this time, we'd been watching for the coast to be clear and the other time running. Getting ourselves even more lost. Now being back with Daryl. I felt something I hadn't in a few days, well at least that's what it felt like, I felt safe. Once we made it back to the cell block I found Grace and I's bunk. "We're home. We are finally home." I said with a smile to her.

"I'm so glad you kept your Hope about us being saved." Grace said to me and I smiled. I was so happy to be back in the safe of the cell block. Locked in. Carol wanted to see us.

"How are you girls?" She asked and I looked at her.

"I wanted to thank you. You kept my sister and I safe, I really appreciate it." I said to her with a smile and she looked at me. I put my hand out and she took it.

"Your welcome sweetie, just know I'll always look after the both of you." She said with a smile taking Grace's hand as well. It wasn't long until Rick came over and I hugged him along with Grace before pulling away. "Oh, God." She said to him as she hugged him.

"Thank God. Thank God." He said I then saw Carl. I went over and immediately hugged him. That was before I went to Aria and Ellie as well. I was glad that I still had my friends. I then hugged the others.

"How?" Hershel asked as he saw us all.

"Solitary." Carol answered. I had no idea where we even were.

"Poor things fought their way into a cell. Must have passed out. Dehydrated." Daryl said to them, I was glad that he found us. Beth then showed Carol Lori's baby. But Lori wasn't here. She must've left us, she'd be with T now. I looked at Carl and hugged him. He lost his Mom, I knew what that was like.

"I'm so sorry." I said to him, I had tears in my eyes as well. It was hard for me, she was like my second mom. Especially at the beginning of all of this. Once all of catching up was over all of Grace and I's friends came to our cell.

"Where's Maggie and Glenn?" Grace asked them and they looked at us. Ellie was the one to speak up.

"They went to get supplies but they haven't come back yet. Hopefully they'll be home soon." Ellie said to us and it wasn't long until it was just Grace and I. We took a nap before we went outside. There was some kind of mission taking place. I don't know what it was about. We all went outside to say goodbye. To the ones that was going of course. All of us kids were staying, so was Carol. I was stood with her and the new baby.

"Stay safe." Daryl said to us.

"Nine lives, remember?" Carol asked and I looked at him.

"We'll be okay. We can protect ourselves." I said to him with a smile, I knew he worried deep down. He never showed it, it was probably because of Aria the most.

"Let's head back in." Carol said and we all went back inside. It was just me and Carl in our cell.

"How did you manage to survive all that time? We all thought you were dead here." He said to me and I looked at him. Taking his hand. I saw a smile appear on his face.

"We did a lot of running and hiding. We'd sleep some times but others we'd stay hidden." I said to him and he looked at me. I could tell that it was hard here. "T sacrificed himself so that we could go. I miss him, but he gave me this. Before everything went down." I said before pulling it out my pocket. He slipped in my pocket without me knowing, it was his dog tag on the chain.

"At least he'll always be with you. No matter where you go. I'll be with you as well." He said to me and I smiled at him, I then put the tag on, I now had my piece of Mom with me and my piece of the guy who was practically my father with me. Knowing that I'd always have them brought a sense of comfort to me. I looked at him.

"I'll be with you as well. Although you gotta cope with Grace as well." I said to him with a smile, I felt like during this whole apocalypse, I'd grown up more than what I ever should have. This wasn't normal for people are age, we should be running around and having fun. Not running from death which looked like our future. But who knows maybe it will get better someday.
