I had a rough sleep, I was back to sleeping in a tent, yay. We were going to look for Sophia more today in more areas than before. When I reached them Daryl mentioned something about a Chupacabra, the blood-sucking dogs. "Can I help look?" I asked them "it's like you said last night dad that I make sure everyone's okay so I must be able to come right, otherwise why do I have your hat." I said to him. He looked around and looked at me.

"Fine but your going with T-Dog and Andrea, I know that they treat you like family so you'll be safe." Dad said. I smiled knowing I was going to be protected and cared about for once. I looked at Andrea and T-Dog and smiled at both of them.

We started walking round the forest that was in our grid to look for Sophia. I was walking behind with T-Dog. I had my knife in my hand ready to kill a walker if one crosses our path. I was quite, almost as if walkers weren't even a thing here. It was nice out here. We were all shouting out for Sophia. A guy from the farm I think his name was Jimmy tagged along with us. T-Dog noticed I wasn't shouting for Sophia. "What you thinking off?" He asked me quietly.

"Huh, oh nothing really. Just how peaceful it is out here." I said to him. He smiled and looked around and noticed how there wasn't even one walker around. He smiled taking in the scenery around us.

We had arrived back to the farm now I was in Carl's room with Grace. He was sleeping so we were just talking about what had happened today. She told me how Glenn and Maggie were kinda a thing, but that's only Grace's opinion. I told her about how empty it is here. She agreed with me. I knew we weren't going to be here forever but I'm taking as much in as this place as possible. Dad was arranging for a bunch of people including me to learn how to use a gun. "Grace is dad teaching you how to use a gun tomorrow." I asked her. She seemed confused I don't think she knew about it. "Did he not tell you?" She shook her head. I grabbed her arm and pulled her over to where dad was. "Did you tell Grace about the shooting practice you were having tomorrow?" I asked him. "Did you?" I said again.

"I mean I didn't because I didn't think she was interested." He said to me. She needs to know how to protect herself.

"How is she supposed to protect herself if she loses her knife? She can't." I said to him "let her join so she can protect herself. None of the she's to young bullshit. Ok?" I said.

"I don't want to hear that kind of language come out of young mouth again young lady and yeah she can join. Alright, are you happy now?" He said to me. I didn't realise people were staring at us. Oh well they'll hear swearing coming out of my mouth one day or another. Andrea was sat on the top of the R.V taking lookout duty.

"Walker. Walker!" She shouted I looked at the field and saw something moving. I didn't think it was a walker for a second it didn't look like one for a start. I was coming towards us. I looked around we were still missing Daryl. Dad, T-Dog, Glenn and Rick all went racing down to the walker/person in the field. I heard someone pull the trigger on a gun. I looked up and saw Andrea celebrating hitting it. I could hear Rick shouting no! at the bottom of the field. I saw them walking with the person back up here, I got a closer look at the person it was Daryl. He had a necklace of ears hanging from his neck that Rick yanked off. T was holding something, Sophia's doll. I walked back inside to see Lori, Patricia, Beth, Ellie and Carol cooking dinner.

"Is their anything I can do or am I to late?" I asked laughing a bit.

"We are pretty much finished, sorry." Carol said. I nodded and left. I didn't know where to go so I sat in the room with Carl he was still asleep. I kissed his cheek and sat next to him and talked to him. I knew he could hear me because he started smiling. Lori came in and asked to be alone with him. Of course I didn't say no because she was his mother something I never had anymore.

Dinner was ready and set up on the table for us. I took a seat next to T-Dog, I started eating and nudged him by accident. He was just about to eat a potato at the time but I nudged it off his fork. He glared at me and started laughing. He nudged me when I was about to eat a potato. I glared at him, angrily he started laughing nervously. I started laughing about how scared he was. It's not like I was actually pissed with him. He looked at me a little shook but I didn't care. I had finished eating my dinner. I helped them wash the dishes in the kitchen just to make myself useful for once.

I went to go check on Daryl when I saw Carol kissing his head. When she walked out I walked in. "How you feeling?" I asked him. He gave the seriously look.

"What do you think?" He said to me.

"Oh, I just thought that Carol kissed your head better." I said chuckling a little. He turned and faced me I knew what he was going to say because Grace probably told everyone.

"Like how you kissed Carl's cheek. Was that to make him feel better?" He said chuckling. I glared at him.

"Well I'm just gonna leave now." I said. When I left the room I bumped into Ellie and jumped. "Jeez you scared me." I said laughing.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to I was just heading to bed like you I'm guessing." She said to me. I was heading to the camp it would take ages for me to sleep. It's not easy sleeping on the ground. I walked around and spotted Glenn.

"Do you still have that guitar by any chance?" I asked him. He looked at me confused.

"Why?" He questioned me still confused.

"Because I used to play the guitar before all this happened." I said with a are you stupid tone.

"It's in the R.V." He told me I nodded and went into the R.V and picked it up and took it back to the tent and placed it in there and went to sleep for the night.
