Laf I think I love (Y/N) {translation}

(Y/N)'s POV

     When I wake up, I notice that I'm in my own bed. 'But I fell asleep at Herc and Alex's dorm' I think to myself. "Good morning (Y/N)" I hear John say. "Good morning John" I say smiling. His voice makes me smile. Oh my god. Do I love him? I said I was in love with someone last night. I am in love with John. Is he in love with me?

     "What do you want to do today?" John asks me, snapping me out of my daze. I think about an answer. I'm about to do something that could change everything. "Can we do something together? Just the two of us?" I ask him. "(Y/N) (L/N) are you asking me out?" He asks me. I feel the blood rush to my cheeks.

     "I guess I am" I finally build up the courage to say. "That was what I was gonna do but I guess this works too" he says with a chuckle. He's so adorable. I thought he was innocent too, but according to what happened last night he isn't.

     "Okay so where do you want to go?" He asks me. "I don't know, I've always wanted to go on a road trip though" I say. "How about we just drive around all day? We can stop at a few places that look fun" he says. "Really? That would be the best!" I say, the excitement starting to rise in me. "Well, let's get going then" Laurens says. God I wish he was my boyfriend, but I'm too scared to ask him to be.

John's POV

After driving around for a little bit, we find a 7-11. "Hey wanna go to 7-11 and get some slurpees?" I ask (Y/N). "Depends. Are you going to make a Heathers joke" she asks back. "You've listened to Heathers?" I almost squeal. "Yep. And I've watched the bootleg" she says while laughing. "Well, let's go get some slurpees, Veronica" I say. "Alright JD, as long as you don't kill anyone" she says sarcastically. "I promise I won't...maybe" I say as we walk into 7-11.

"So what other musicals have you listened to?" She asks me. "Heathers, Miranda, Cats, Dear Evan Hansen, I'm a geek if you can't tell" I tell her. "CAN WE LISTEN TO THE SOUNDTRACKS IN THE CAR!?" She hopes. "Of course" I tell her. She starts jumping around. "YAAAAAYYY NO LETS GO FREEZE OUR BRAINS!!!" She says child like. She's so adorable. "Alright" I say before going into a laughing fit. We walk into the store.

We go get slurpees as I sing freeze your brain. After we walk out, (Y/N) gets a brain freeze. "OW THAT HURTS LIKE A BITCH!" She yells. I see this as a perfect opportunity to really show off. "Don't open a vain! Just freeze your brain" I sing perfectly. "Damn how come I never knew you could sing until now?" She asks me. I start blushing. "Because I don't usually sing in front of people unless I really like them" I say. Shit. Wrong choice of words, but oh well.

     When we get into the car, I start playing the Miranda soundtrack and we both start rapping and singing together. After My Shot, I notice that (Y/N) is really good at rapping. "Damn how come I never knew you could rap until now?" I say mockingly. "Because I don't usually rap in front of people unless I really like them" she mocks back.

     After driving and singing for a while, we get to Guns and Ships. "Alright (Y/N) I'll give you $10 if you can rap this entire thing" I bet her. "Challenge excepted, you might want to get your $10 out now though" she tells me. We get through the song and she raps it flawlessly. I give her the $10. "You know who else can rap? Lafayette" I tell her. "Really?" "Yeah, he can rap really fast too, maybe even faster than you" I start taunting. "Well I need to see this, because I need proof that he can rap faster than me" she says back. We start driving back to the school.

(Y/N)'s POV

     When we get back on campus, I immediately go to Alex and Herc's dorm, knowing that Laf stayed the night. When we get there, I basically break down the door. "LAFAYETTE YOU CAN RAP?" I yell in excitement. "Y-yeah. Who told you?" He asks a little embarrassed. "Who do you think" I say pointing to Laurens.

     "Way to throw me under the bus. Anyway, (Y/N) doesn't think you can rap faster than her" John says. "Is that a challenge? I can rap pretty fast just so you know" Laf taunts. "Yeah it is, I'm gonna win" I say. And with that, the rap battle is on.
