Elsa had just finished her morning meeting to hear the reports on all parts of Arendelle. It had been rather boring and she was released to have half an hour to herself before cakes with the Duchess of Noram (a province of Arendelle). She was the official care taker of Noram and was highly respected in Arendelle.

Elsa walked down the empty halls, hoping to get to her quarters before anyone wanted to talk to her. Being the Queen was so stressful!

Elsa had nearly reached her quarters when she heard Anna's ever perky voice.

"Elsa! Wait up!" Elsa paused, before turning around and smiling at her.

"Hello, Anna." Anna smiled excitedly at Elsa.

"I've been looking for you. I thought you might have some time away, sooooooo" Anna practically said in one breath.

"So?" Elsa questioned, waiting for her to finish her sentence.

"I was thinking, we might be able to hang out together." Anna said this more slowly, but it had the same effect on Elsa.

"No." Elsa said, solid as stone.

"W-what do you mean no? I just want to talk to you... as my sister." Anna sounded heartbroken. It had always been her dream to be friends with her sister again, and now that she could, Elsa didn't want to.

"I ment no. Anna, being queen isn't just a game. Its a responsibility, and I don't have the energy or the time to hang out with you. And if you really do want to spend time with me, you need to make an appointment with my advisor, Arian." Elsa then turned around, walked to her room, entered and closed the door.

Anna stood in shock of cold her sister had been they were sisters, and they were supposed to be friends, right? Anna ran to her room and started crying. She was crying over her lost childhood, over her sister, and over the loss of her parents. Her life was anything but hopeful at the moment. So, she cried and cried until all of her sadness was replaced with determination. She was going to be a sister to Elsa. She was going to marry Hans. She was going to be a great princess.
