It was another early morning for Sasuke as he sipped his coffee; staring out of the window. The sound of his cell phone ringing from his pocket, brought him out of his daze. "Hello? This is Sasuke Uchiha speaking" Sasuke answered indifferently. To Sasuke's annoyance, there was no answer on the other line. "Look, if you're not going to answer then go away!" Sasuke yelled into the phone furiously, it wasn't until a small voice made Sasuke freeze in dismay. "Sasuke...." The hurtful voice whispered. Dammit! It was Naruto's voice. 'God I'm such an idiot right now' Sasuke thought to himself. "Oh I'm sorry Naruto, I....didn't know it was you" Sasuke replied apologetically, he could feel the guilt and it wouldn't go away.

A sigh came from Naruto's side. "Daijobu Sasuke!" the sadness was gone to be replaced with cheerfulness that Sasuke knew. The jovial Naruto was back. Sasuke smiled before putting his formal tone on. "Are you ok? Is there anything you need help with?" Sasuke asked, turning on the Coffee machine which rumbled to life. "Uhh...yeah, I need a lift" the soft reply came. Sasuke heaved a sigh, "Let me guess, you missed the bus again, you stupid idiot" Sasuke whispered the last words with affection. However Naruto was oblivious to the words and replied angrily to the smirking Uchiha. "Yeah I did! And if you call me an idiot one last time! I'll murder you!!"

"But you love me dear" Sasuke teased amorously

"Sasuke!"

And then the line went dead.

Sasuke chuckled ominously. Glancing at the clock, he stood up. He may as well go and pick up his precious blondie.
