Alright, so my grandparents are visiting because of my birthday, and I was able to spend all yesterday afternoon with them.

First, we went to see my school's performance of the one-act play, which was absolutely astounding. 

Then we went to the mall, which was so awesome.

While at the mall, we went to Barnes & Noble's and, oh my word I was in heaven. I found the teen fiction section and I just... AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I saw that they had a section of John Green books, and I freaked out, but then I saw a book called What If It's Us and the cover interested me 'cause there were two guys. So I read the inside cover, and, oh my god. It literally reminded me so much of Prinxiety. 

Here it is:

So I had pulled it off the shelf and was looking at other books, and I was debating between that and Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Love, Simon). 

So I was debating between the two of them, and I was like, "alright, I'm just gonna read the first page of "What If It's Us"

So I open up the book and there, on the first page, I see, in italics, Dear Evan Hansen. 

As soon as I saw that, I slammed the book shut and tried not to squeal in the middle of the store.

So I bought that and one other book that I needed to finish a series. 

So I got home and immediately started reading, and I swear the book was made for me.

No, but it was so awesome 'cause, in the first chapter, the characters are at a post office and there's a flash mob proposal with a marching band and the song "Marry Me" by Bruno Mars, and I SWEAR I ALMOST DIED. YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MANY FLASH MOB PROPOSALS I WATCHED WHEN I FIRST HEARD THAT SONG AND I JUST AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

AND I'M FLIPPING OUT ABOUT THE DEAR EVAN HANSEN REFERENCE AND I HAVE TO GO TO BED BUT I'M NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF THIS GOD DAMN BOOK AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH
