Parents just like to shoot kids down don't they?
I make one comment and they pipe up with all these "No! It could be..." Or "Well it might..."

Can't I share my opinion once without having it shot down with facts

Basically this dog wandered into my friends yard and it's been there all day.
It's a pit bull with a leather collar and no tag.
They think she might be a fight dog because she's afraid of her collar and she's built like a fight dog
And if no one claims her her brother might take her

So I told my parents this and here's what they said
"She might have a microchip"
"It has a collar someone should claim her"
"Her owners could be just visiting and so there isn't a tag"

Me: Wow, thanks for letting me voice my opinion
