Encouragement, Mustachios, and Hawaii

I am going to try and be better about adding more chapters more frequently... but lets be honest. When have i ever said that and actually stick to it? XD now i feel bad :( Anyway, about the video to the side, it was showed in my creative writing class and i loved it. Sophie is an outcast, however she holds on to the things that she loves and the things that make her beautful. If you ever need somebody to talk to, i am here. I may not know what your situation may be, but i will be there to listen :) Again, sorry for the wait and hope you enjoy the newest chapter so far ^.^

I couldn’t hide the shock that shook my body. What England just said froze me, my mouth hanging open. Could that really happen? The countries disappearing? It didn’t make any sense. I looked over at America to see him regain his heroic composure after loosing it for a few seconds.
“Well, dude,” he said, wrapping his arm around England, “That shouldn’t be a problem since we got Sophie, huh?” he wrapped his other arm around me and gave me a closed eye smile.
“W-what?” I asked quietly, backing away from the two countries, “I’m not like you guys, I can’t do this. I’m just a human.” I slumped on the floor, my head in my hands so they couldn’t see my face. I was shivering.
“I want to help,” I took a deep breath, “but I can’t.”
“You can’t, or you’re too scared to try?” America asked. I peeked over my knees to see him staring at me.
“I could tell you weren’t the most outgoing girl when I met you, but you do have something that us countries don’t possess.” He sighed and sat down next to me. “We don’t have the power to save our friends.” For the second time that night, I was shocked. America, the hero of Hetalia, just said that he couldn’t save somebody. I looked up at England to see his emerald eyes look down in sorrow.
“You may not be a country, but you have more power than us right now. How do you think it feels to be me,” he smiled crookedly at the floor, “and not be able to save your brother, or your friends? I don’t know about you, Arthur, but I would trade places with Sophie in a heart beat.”
I looked up to see England smile at me and nod his head. He walked over and sat down next to me, patting my head soothingly.
“I’ll help you guys,” I said, yawning right after, “I’ll bring back all the countries. You guys won’t have to worry about a thing. I’m going to do something for once, without anybody’s help.”
I looked at the clock and realized it was one in the morning. I couldn’t keep my eyes open. A lot had happened today and I could feel all of it catch up to me in one moment.
“I’ll see you later.” England whispered in my ear. Before I knew it, I was fast asleep in the arms of America and England.

“Dude, somebody is, like, coming!”
“Shhhh! Be quiet while I think of a plan.”
I peeled my eyes open to see England, America and I in the same position as we were when we fell asleep. I stretched my arms and looked over at them.
“Hey guys, how’d you sleep?” I asked, still in a trance.
“Pretty good, but we have an emergency dudette.” America whispered loudly.
I was about to ask what when I heard footsteps coming towards my room. My heart sank as my doorknob started to turn. At this point, I was fully awake. My parents were going to throw a fit if they saw me asleep in the arms of two hot guys in my room.
“Good morning, honey. How did ya sleep?” I heard my mother ask as she poked her head into my room.
She looked at me, then at the two countries. Her smile never faded from her face as her eyes traveled from face to face. When she finally spoke, you would’ve thought that she didn’t just walk into her daughter’s room to find her asleep with two guys.
“Oh, um, excuse me one second.” she closed the door. After a couple seconds she screamed at the top of her lungs, “Richard! It’s a code orange! Grab the shotgun!”
My heart sank as I stood up and opened the door. My mother was hyperventilating as my father was climbing up the stairs, loading shotgun shells into his gun.
“What are you guys doing?!” I asked, incredulous.
“Honey, sweety, darling.” My mother walked up to me and grabbed my face and shoved it into her… um.. chest.
“Pumpkin, even though your father and I loath each other, I still think the accident was his fault,”
“No it wasn’t!” I heard my dad yell from the stairs.
My mom rolled her eyes, “Anyway, we came up with a few emergency plans for special situations.”
“And what’s so special about this situation?”
“Well, your father and I met young and thought we were totally in love, ha! Anyway, we don’t want you falling in love with the first boy, or boys you meet. So we decided to scare them off if that ever happened.” She smiled at me as if she just told me that I could have a thousand dollars.
“I think you have officially gone crazy.” I said, lifting up my head.
“I tried to tell you, but nobody listens to me.” my dad said as he pushed passed us both and kicked open our door. I tried to stop him, however he had already bull dozed his way into my room.
“It’s not what it looks like!” I said as I pushed passed him and found… that my room was completely empty of countries. I looked around, confused and then smiled as I saw the open window.
“See, haha, told you mom was crazy.” I joked, scooting into my room. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I want to get back to my reading.”
Before I could close the door, my dad’s foot interrupted it and he walked back in. “What did you mean when you said ‘this isn’t what it looks like?’”
“Oh, um, I was talking about,” I couldn’t think of anything so I grabbed the nearest thing and held it up. I blushed a deep crimson as I realized what it was.
“I didn’t want you finding out that I, um, liked reading yaoi.”
My dads face contorted into a look of confusion as he flipped through the pages. Confusion quickly turned to surprise then slightly disgusted. My mother looked over his shoulder and giggled.
“I didn’t know that was possible.” My father said as he closed the book. He shoved the manga back into my hands and turned away.
“I don’t care what you read, as long as I don’t have to see it again.” My father said as he turned to walk out of my room, my mother following and closing the door.
I slumped on the ground and exhaled the breath I didn’t know I was holding. As I tried to push my heart out of my throat, I went to look out my window. However, the countries weren’t waiting for me at the bottom. All of a sudden the door bell rang. I raised one of my eyebrows and opened the door. As soon as I did I could hear America’s and England’s voices floating in. What were they doing? They just escaped through my window, only to ring the door bell?! I ran down the stairs… to find America and England wearing fake mustaches and cheap suits. They held a bouquet of balloons and America blasted a party popper, confetti raining down on my parents, who opened the door.
“Congratulations, you just won a trip to Hawaii!” Britain said, clapping his hands.
“We couldn’t have won anything, we didn’t even enter a contest.” My dad said skeptically, crossing his arms over his chest.
“You may not have, but your daughter did!” America said, pointing at me.
“Why would you enter us in contest?” my father asked.
I was about to say something, however my mother interrupted me, “Who cares! We won a trip to Hawaii! Pack the bags, Richard.” My mother squealed.
“Don’t tell me what to do, Margret.”
“Well, somebody needs to.” She pouted.
Britain interrupted the new match between the children by putting his arms around them and pushing them out of the house.
“No need to pack, your daughter already did for you. Your bags and a bottle of champagne are waiting for you in the car.”
They were still bickering as they were shoved into the mysterious, black Range Rover that was parked in our drive way. As soon as they were in, the car sped away, its tires squealing as it raced around the street corner. My mouth was hanging open. I couldn’t believe what they just pulled off.
“Whew, that’s one thing we don’t have to worry about anymore.” America said as he ripped off the mustache, leaving an angry, red mark on his upper lip.
“Right, now we have to get to work on freeing the countries. Right, Sophie?” Britain asked as he turned to me, smiling.
I smiled back, “Right, and I think I know who we can free next.”
