{Sonic's P.O.V.}
"Sonic... P-please...! Slow... Down..." Silver panted as he walked behind me. I was walking fast to my house, not looking back at him or around me at the people that were smiling and/or waving at me. 

"S-Sonic!" He said louder and used his powers to stop me from moving. 

I sighed and gave in then turned around. "Did you know about it?" I asked coldly and crossed my arms, making Silver lower his ears.  

"I-I..." He stuttered and looked down. "I can explain everything... But not now..." He shook his head slowly and put me down. "You have to trust me, Sonic. I promise that I know what I'm doing." He smiled slightly at me, something he always did when he tried to calm someone down or help them.

I couldn't make myself calm down, or believe him, or even fake a smile. 

I was completely numb. 

I thought he was dead!

I was crying day and night thinking he was gone!

And he's been alive with Amy?!

"Sonic...!" I snapped out of it and looked at Silver again. 

"What?" I asked quietly. 

"Please..." He said softly. "I... Know what I'm doing..."

I glared at him and growled lowly, how could I trust him when he didn't even sound like he trusted himself?

"Just trust him, what do you have to lose?" Dark spoke up with a low chuckle. "Finally something interesting will happen in your life."

"Fine." I instantly changed my mind when Dark said that. I didn't have anything to lose anymore. Might as well take advantage of that and be careless again.

Just like old times.

"Thank Chaos." He sighed in relief and smiled softly. "I'm so glad."

I felt so bad for lying to him, he's my friend, but I can't trust him...! He definitely knew that he would be there. Why would he take me to that exact place and time when he knew how I feel about him?!

He's supposed to be from the future! His job is to protect his city! Not ruin my life!

"Enough crying!" Dark growled. "You think too much of that idiot! He doesn't deserve shit! Well... Neither do you... But crying for someone won't bring them back!"

I rolled my eyes and started walking to my house again.

"I'm really sorry about what happened..." Silver said when he caught up to me. "But this was the best way I could help you..."

"Help? I never asked for help." I raised a brow and looked at him. "How told you I needed help?"

"Well... You did." He smiled sheepishly with a low and awkward chuckle. "Or you would if I hadn't helped you."

"Even if I did, what you did didn't really help." I crossed my arms. "You could've just told me that he's still alive but with someone else."

"I could, but you wouldn't believe me and ask to show you proof." He chuckled. "This isn't the first time I've tried this, Sonic."

I stayed quiet when he said that. I hate to admit it but he was right. I would have asked for proof if he suddenly told me that he was still alive.

I mean, Maria keeps telling me and...

MARIA!!!

She was right!!!

She had warned me!!!

And I didn't believe her!!!

"I know that it was hard..." Silver sighed. "And I don't want to make you mad... But it'll get worse from now on..." He looked at me. "You'll have to make some hard decisions, and it might take years, but I promise...! That it'll get better."

I lowered my ears and looked in front of me as I felt my heart skip a beat.

Worse?!

How much worse will get?!

And it will take years?!

"I know..." He continued talking. "But don't worry, you'll have some moments that will make it all worth it. And if you ever need help, you have your friends and family that will support you...!" His voice softened at the last sentence. "You're never alone, I hope you know that."

"Yeah... Thanks..."
