Harry cornered Hermoine in the library, and whipped off the cap he had been wearing to cover up the cat ears that had appeared overnight. His new tail, which Harry had shoved down his trousers this morning, also popped up out of his robes. "What is this?" He demanded. Hermoine looked deep in thought for a moment before her face cleared and she exclaimed, "The potion, from class yesterday! You must have accidentally made some sort of creature potion. Now we just need to find out which one, so we can find a way to counter it." She thought for a minute and asked, her face grave, "Did you happen to put Kitsune hairs in the potion?" Harry vaguely remembered putting something that had said something like that in the potion.

"I think so, why?"

Hermoine's face paled, and she ran and grabbed a book from the shelf and plopped it down in front of Harry after finding the page she wanted.

"Parsfelis Transformo." He read. "An elixir to transform the drinker into a Japanese Neko (Refer to Chapter 23: Magical Creatures and Slaves for more information on Nekos). The drinker will slowly become smaller, more agile, and have the urge to wear maid outfits and a collar. They will also develop cat ears and a cat tail the morning after drinking the elixir, as well as slowly falling in love with the person they see first after drinking the elixir. They will think of this person as their 'Master'. The only known cure is for the person the drinker falls in love with to kiss the drinker, and wish for them to turn human again, before the transformation is complete, one month."

Harry looked at Hermione with dread and apprehension. "You think this is why I have cat ears and a tail?"

"It makes the most sense, doesn't it?"

"Oh no." Harry put his head in his hands. This was going to be a bad month.
