Ash's POV

Was it all true? After the league I became different? Serena told me that she loves me, but I think she's just being nice. I love her so much it's painful to see her go away.

Her words can hit me like a truck whether it's for encouragement or lectures. She can destroy all my doubts just by her smile.

My dream was to become a Pokemon Master, but I think I have another dream, and that is being Serena's boyfriend and husband.

I know what dream I want to pursue, but what would Serena think of it? Well there's only one way to know.

I opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. It took me like 4 minutes to remember that this was Serena's house.

I heard someone singing in the kitchen, so being the curious one I went towards the kitchen.

It turns out it was Serena singing a song called "getta ban ban" and man she's really good at singing.

Then a lightbulb pop out of my head and gave me an idea. I silently chuckled and slowly and quietly approached her. Then I held out my arms and gave her a surprise morning hug causing Serena to scream, but not that loud.

"Ash! I swear to Arceus if you ever do that again I would throw a freaking bus at you" Serena said with annoyance in her voice.

"A bus? Can you even carry a bus?" I teased making her blush. "I can if someone makes me angry" Serena pointed out.

"Anyway let's eat, my mom went somewhere, so she told me to prepare breakfast" Serena said.

"Well let's eat!" I exclaimed. I looked at the food that Serena prepared and man, she can cook! I mean I know she can cook, but I never see her prepare a whole breakfast before.

I took the bacon and eggs and ate it, Serena looked at me and giggled, I loved it! She can be a cook on the future if she wants to.

"MmSerenammThis is re-" Serena puts her finger in my mouth and said "Manners. Don't talk when your mouth is full" I nodded and swallowed it.

"You should be a cook! This is really good!" I said with sparkles in my eyes.

"Thanks, but that's not my dream and you know it" Serena pointed out.

"Oh speaking of dreams, I found a new one!" Serena looked at me with shock and curiosity on her face.

"I decided to not become a Pokemon Master" well that was a mistake. Pretty much Serena stood up from her seat and approached me. "Ash you know that a dream like that can never disappear! You of all of us know that you won't give up! I don't care about that other dream, I just want the Ash I know and love!" My eyes widened at her speech.

I don't know if I can ever be a Pokemon Master, because I haven't won a league at all! I just want to give up, but she told me not to. My feelings are mixed up right now and I don'tknow what to do.

"Serena...do you really love me?" I asked "Of course I do, but I love the Ash Ketchum I know not the one right now" this filled me with shock and despair.

How can I be the Ash Ketchum back then if I gave up?

"My other dream was to be your boyfriend" Serena looked at me with an expression I haven't seen in ages, she was serious. "Dreams are the one that make you you Ashy. If I'm the one holding you back then I'll gladly stay out of your way" my heart started to beat faster and faster She does cares for me and loves me.

"Don't give up on your dream Ashy, I know it's hard, but you have to keep moving forward!" I recognize her attitude right now. It's my attitude, I never gave up, because I want to become a Pokemon Master. Is she doing this on purpose?

Serena is really an angel in my view, she will always be there for me and I know it.

"Thank you Serena" I mumbled.
