For a long time, there was something that was really bugging me: all angel names end with -el, or at least the sound of it. Ot most of them anyways.

Gabriel, Raphael, Michael, Castiel, Anael, Rachel, Ezekiel, Samandriel, Uriel, even Aziraphale! Well, not Balthazar but you understand.

Every angel except Lucifer. Now, maybe it's for significance, Lucifer is the angel that isn't like the others, but it's still weird.

And that is why I think with reason that Lucifer's prior angels name was Samael. Samael is an angel's name and I've seen at many places that it was Lucifer before his fall.

I personally think that it's more than logical and now I pity that girl at my school who's called Samaëlle. She's literally named after the devil.
