[Timestamp: Two Months ago.]

"....What?"

"We got a message back from him, eager much?" Kaede turned the laptop to me. It was true. He had responded back in such a short amount to time, it almost felt as if it were a joke. Shuichi felt as if he was punched in the stomach.

"T-This must be a mistake... what if he's just looking for a friend?"

"Shuichi, nobody is ever trying to make friends on a dating app." She rolled her eyes. Shuichi toppled onto the bed, the pianist felt a wave of guilt pain in her heart. "Oh, Saihara... look, it'll be fun! I'll have another man waiting to date you in the Nick of time!"

"Whatever... what did he say?"

"Nothing much, just a simple 'Hey'." She typed something into the computer again. "The first few days it'll be boring, but once he's taking a liking to you then it gets fun."

"I still feel bad about this..." the detective fixed his hair. The room went a little quiet before the taller female asked him a question.

"You still look sad, why don't you tell me how he actually broke up with you?"

Shuichi looked down, trying to remember the day earlier. "He told me that he loved me as an experiment. That, he was simply just, 'bored.' He was bored of me, bored of us... I apparently didn't deserve his love."

"Wow, that's.... lame." She sighed. "But that's Rantaro for you. Did you really have to fall in love with someone like him?"

"He was special..."

"How did that turn out for you?" She snorted before slapping a hand over her mouth. "Sorry..."

"No, it's fine... it actually felt amazing." I hummed. She looked over at me worriedly, but continued to type away on the laptop.

"You're one weird kid... anyways, it looks as if he's interested in 'Chiaki'." She showed me the laptop, it felt sickening.

"Your friends....actually really nice looking."

"I'll make sure to tell her that." The taller female stood up and started to stretch. She eyed him and slowly closed the laptop. "You should download the app, I'll give you the password and you can have fun."

"Thank you, Kaede..." His hands fumbled looking around for his cellular device.

"I have a few rules however." She took his phone and held it with a wrinkle on her nose. "One, don't change the password." She slowly typed something with her index finger. "Two, I'm able to respond at any moment. I'm just as bored as you." She tossed the phone back to him. He fumbled over himself to catch the phone from falling off the bed. "If it ever gets too dangerous or you just...get too creepy, I have the word to call this whole thing off. Do we have an agreement?"

He looked up at her, "Understood, Ma'am."

"God...you're so weird." She mumbled before picking up his bad and handing it to him. "Sorry to kick you out after your breakdown, but my parents are going to be home soon...seeing a male in my room and on my bed will drive them over the edge....no offence."

"None taken." Shuichi gathered his items and excited the blonds house now filled with excitement. Not even a block down from her house, he got a notification.
