Song- Wait
Yet another month had passed without seeing Harry, and Draco was losing hope that he would ever be able to see him again.
Blaise was talking to him a bit more, although distance seemed to still be between them. Pansy came out of her room a bit more, although anyone could tell she wasn't happy.
Draco wanted to do more, to fix this, but he didn't know how.
And god, he hated gold.
He hated wearing it, he hated seeing it, gold was a horrible color.
He was fucking sick of this.
"I'm going to the Slytherin kingdom," he said one day, after standing up from his throne, fed up.
His mother looked up, startled. "What ever for?"
"I'm going to see Harry. I can't stand being here all the time."
"They'll kill you!" she exclaimed.
"Let them," he replied coldly, and turned around to storm out of the room.
"Take a carriage."
The voice was quiet, but present. Draco turned to see Pansy standing there, dark circles under her eyes, her hair a mess.
"Hey Pans," he murmured.
"Take a carriage. Then they won't be able to tell if it's you."
He nodded. "You doing okay?"
"You know that answer."
He sighed, and hugged her. "You'll be okay, Pansy."
She hooked her pinky with his. "I know. I'm just scared. What if they find her?"
"They won't."
"Go."
He nodded, and rushed off. After persuading several guards to let him go, he had a carriage set up, with the windows blocked by curtains.
Draco stepped in, nerves settling in his stomach. What if Harry really had found someone better?
But the carriage started moving, and Draco saw light hit the curtains to indicate they were now outside.
He heard shouts, angry and threatening, and he squeezed his eyes shut.
I'm too young to rule a kingdom alone.
The screams continued, and Draco tried not to cry at the horrible words and substances thrown at his direction.
He just thought of Harry, and let a smile cross over his face as he thought of him.
