Chapter 7: Embarrassing Photos?

"Goodness me, how is your parents? Alright?" She asked as I hummed in response as she claps her hands together. She stopped and sniffed, her smile became wider. "Y-You're his mate...you're mother and I knew you would be mates when you two were born!" She shouted and hugged me excitedly.

"Come! I'll introduce you to my husband and Wendy!"

Meeting Natsu's father was a bit scary, seeing how when he looked at me with a blank stare just...creeped me out. But when I got to know him, he was funny he also tried to get some food out of my bowl by trying to distract me. Funny as it seems...I love food, I wouldn't let anyone take my food without permission but I didn't want to be rude though so I agreed to it.

"Igneel, give the chips back to Lucy!" Natsu's mother shouted and playfully slapped his arm as she glared at him. He chuckled, "She's okay with it, right Lucy?" He grinned at me as I laughed and nodded my head. "See Grandine?" He whined as Natsu's mother just rolled her eyes and shook her head in frustration. "Is your family always like this?" I whispered to Natsu who was beside me. He nodded his head, "Yup, why?" He asked.

I giggled and said, "They're funny," and grabbed a chip from my bowl and started eating again.

After the ridiculous situation, Grandine insisted me to stay over tonight since it was Friday. I tried to deny but Grandine immediately asked me for my mom's phone number as I actually agreed. She asked my mother to stay as they started squealing, my mother agreed. Seeing how Natsu and I weren't really in a happy mood because of yesterday, I told Natsu's mother if I can have a spare bedroom for tonight. She was upset but agreed any way.

I was sitting on the edge of the bed just scrolling down Instagram on my phone when suddenly I heard footsteps coming towards me. I looked up and saw Grandine holding a large looking book, she sat beside me with a soft smile. She started stroking me blonde locks carefully as I just looked at her, a smile plastered on my face. "I can't wait for you to become my son's wife. Promise me... Don't leave him, okay?" Heat crept up but it didn't make me hesitate, I nodded and grinned at her.

"Oh, I wanted to show you these pictures of Natsu when he was little," Grandine giggled and opened the large album with tons of pictures. The first page was the, Igneel, Grandine...I giggled and a little Natsu who was grinning boyishly in the picture. "I know, cute isn't he?" She asked me as I nodded in response. She showed me more pictures but mostly of them were Natsu, one of them was him...blowing raspberries as a baby. Those chubby cheeks were adorable, there was also one with Grandine holding a pink baby with Igneel resting his head on the hospital bed...crying. What a cute moment...

"Haha...There I also a picture of Natsu and yo-"

"Mom, why are you here? W-Wait...are those pictures of me?" Natsu shouted as she saw her mother holding the album in her hands. Grandine giggled, "Sorry, honey. I just wanted to show Lucy baby pictures of you," He grumbled as small tiny of pink appeared on his face and he quickly grabbed it out of her hand. "Oh dear, Mr. Grumpy is coming, again." She sighed and shook her head.

"I'll leave you two alone." She said and grabbed the album from Natsu's grasps and walked out of the guest room.

Natsu sighed in relief and sat beside me, "Did she...show anything with me that is really...embarrassing?" He hesitated as I only grinned at him and giggled. "No," he sighed in relief and combed his hair with his hands.

"Just saw you when you were a baby, blowing raspberries, crying because you ice cream fell on the floor, and you taking a bubble bath. Oh, there was one that Grandine showed me...she said you did modelling before and showed me one picture of you," I laughed hysterically when I saw Natsu's expression, he was panicking. "Guh, and what's the picture?"

"Hmm, Gradine told me you were two years younger. It was black and white, you were leaning against a white wall with on of your foot on the wall, your hands were in your pocket, and you were only wearing a black leather jacket and jeans, you looked...decent." A blush plastered on my cheeks, imagining the image that Grandine showed a few minutes ago. Natsu in the other hand, he felt uncomfortable... I was the first one to know he took modelling two years ago but stopped because of him becoming an Alpha with responsibilities and determination made it harder for him.

That's when Natsu suddenly changed his expression to embarrassment to coldness. "I'll see you tomorrow. Again, don't go on alley ways ever." And with that he stood up and left with a silent 'good night' leaving me dumbfound in the room. I watched him leave, I was worried...

Worried about how Natsu is still ignoring the fact I said those words when it actually hurts both me and Natsu. He looked stressed, yesterday he had difficulties with a rogue in his territory and today with me with a rogue tackling me to the ground.

I wonder how I'm suppose to help him?
