Chapter 14: "Why did you leave?"

I closed my eyes tightly and hugged myself. I can't take this anymore... Immediately I was out of the sheets and ran to the guest room with all my might. I didn't bother to knock on the door since I was scared, I just went in. I panted heavily and gently pressed my back against the door. "Lucy? ...why the hell are you still up?" He said and heard shuffling as saw a dark shadow slowly sitting up from the bed. "H-Help me," I whispered.

"Can I sleep here...for tonight?" Even I can't see him, I sense him smirking at me.

He was about to answer when I immediately ran to the bed and laid beside him. He chuckled and slowly lied down with me with one of his arms resting on my waist. I moved closer to him...

"Night, scaredy-wolf..."

"Shut up...and night."

I'm never going to recover from that movie...

Slowly, my eyes fluttered open because of the sun hitting my eyelids. My elbow supported my body up as I looked around. What time is it? I asked myself and looked around to find the clock. 6:30 I sighed and shuffled off the covers, when I moved, I felt a tug on my waist. Immediately I realized this isn't my room, my eyes widened.

I thought it was a dream...

I slowly turn around to see my mate peacefully sleeping beside me with his mouth slightly open. For some reason, I started looking at his features, he looks more...relaxed. I smiled slightly and removed his arm that was on my waist and onto the bed. He stirred which made me panic, I took the pillow I slept on and put it beside him. An arm wrapped it around it with a small smile plastered on his face.

I tip toed out of the guest and to the kitchen. I stopped my tracks and immediately started deep thinking about yesterday, I blinked rapidly and shivered at the memory of the movie. I'm never going to watch a horror movie...

I went to the cupboard on my tiptoes and grabbed the ingredients for pancakes. I grabbed and egg, milk, and butter from the fridge and placed it on the island. I took a pan and placed it on the stove, slowly heating the butter.

I started mixing the ingredients one by one and waited for the butter to melt. I hummed a song as I make the pancakes. My stomach started to growl in hunger, I'm hungry...

I set the tables with maple syrup, plates, and forks.

All of a sudden, I heard a loud thud with a cry. "Oof!" I turn my head see who it was. I slowly walked out of the kitchen and heard a groan, "Natsu?" I said and went upstairs. I opened the door with my eyebrows knitted together in confusion when suddenly, I saw Natsu on the floor with the blankets wrapped around him like a burrito. I covered my mouth with both of my hands, trying to contain my laughter. A smile appeared on my lips, "Pfft-...A-Ahem. N-Natsu, are you okay?" I asked and slowly walked.

A small groan was heard from him but he didn't lift up his head to look at me. I crouched down slowly and looked at him until a hand was grasping on my forearm and I gasps. He tugged me hard and fell on the bed as I closed my eyes until I felt a soft cushion on my back. My eyes slowly opened, looking at a peculiar dull onyx eyes looking at me. He was hovering me with his body.

A wave of heat was on my face and squirmed my body in awkwardness. My heart is pounding against my rib cage. It's like my heart wants to get out. Make this feeling stop! "You know, you're not going to get out. Stop struggling," he said in a deep, cold, masculine voice of his. I looked the other way, avoiding his mesmerizing eyes. "Why did you leave?" He asked, my eyebrows furrowed and looked at him. I tilted my head in confusion, "I-I was in the kitchen making us breakfast." I explained as he sighed in relief.

"Next time, when you wake up before me...shake me, would you?" I nod my head in response.

He got off of me and stood up with his hands on his hips. He looked at me, he reached out his hand to help me up and I agreed. I stared at him intensely, "C'mon, let's eat. ...Lucy?" Immediately when he started talking, my back was facing him. I covered my eyes with my hands as I blushed in embarrassment, "F-First, would you...put a shirt on?"

I heard him chuckle, "Fine, fine," he said defeatedly and heard shuffling behind me. "I'm dressed," I slowly turn around still my hands on my eyes, I peaked through and saw Natsu wearing a black T-shirt. I sighed in relief and dropped my hands to the side and walked out of the guest room and down the stairs as Natsu follows behind me.

A loud ring was heard as I talked to my friends in the hallway. I quickly grabbed my stuff for my first class and ran to the classroom.

I sat across from Levy and waited for the teacher to come, "Good morning class. As you all know spring is finally here. We will be going to the park for a picnic in May 12, please let your parents sign these papers." The teacher said and handed out the sheet of paper. I turn my head to talk to Erza when I realized she was annoyed my Jellal's flirtations. I smiled and turned back to the front when suddenly a ginger haired male smiled mischievously at me as I smiled awkwardly back. I but my bottom lip and stared at the chalk board with the stalker's intense stare.

30 minutes have past and the bell rang, I quickly grabbed my books and my pencil case, "Hi! You must be Lucy...the Luna, right?" The ginger hairs male went in front of me, blacking my way. I smiled politely and nodded, he reached out a hand, "I'm Loke, nice to meet you Luna," he introduced himself and I agreed and let out a hand to shake it. But instead of Loke shaking it, he brought it up to his face and kissed the back of my palm.

A dark aura was behind him as I knew who it was.

My friend actually ships (Her OTP) LoLu but let's just say, I didn't say anything and walked away cause' I would yell at her. Buuutttt, I'm okay with other ships but if they rant about it I would get really annoyed.
