Chapter 12: Sabertooth

"Lucy...?" I heard someone, I knew it wouldn't be Natsu. It was a person in front of me, "Who are you?" I asked and slowly walk backwards.

"It's me."

"You...?"

"Don't you recognize me?" He asked. I shook my head.

"I'm your childhood friend." My eyes widened as my jaw dropped.

"It's you...." I whispered.

I stood there, frozen in my spot. Could it be? He grinned at me and walked forward, "Who are you?" I asked as I looked at his appearance. Pure blonde hair, blue eyes, a piercing on one of his ears, and a scar above his left eye. "Sting. Sting Eucliffe," he answered.

Sound familiar, I thought and I smiled at him. I was about to give him a hug when an arm blocked me making me stop, my mate growled in disapproval. "Get away from her," he said coldly to him as I looked at Natsu in horror. "Natsu! What are you doing?" I asked as I but down his arm that blocked me. He growled again, "Get the hell away from my mate." He said possessively.

"Dude, I only want to talk to her." Sting said softly.

He made scowl and grabbed my arm as we walked the other way. I looked over my shoulder to see Sting with a sad face, I mouthed 'Sorry'.

"Why did you do that?!" I shouted and slapped his arm as he didn't even flinch. His eyes stared at mine intensively as shivers went down my spine. "It's your own safety. He's my enemy, our enemy to be exact," he explained as I raised a brow at him. "What do you mean?"

"He tried to kill one of the my members. She escaped with bruises and cuts."

"And who is that person?"

He paused for a moment until he said, "Rebecca Yesta," I gasped in horror. Rebecca? The Rebbeca bitch? I covered my mouth with my hands as I felt nauseous for a second.  "She fell for his...appearance, I guess? Which led things to her having sexual intercourse with him. After that night he threatened her to stay with him, so she agreed. He abused her and used her like a slave, that's when she escaped and told me everything. She became paralyzed after that, every time when we tried to touch or even help her...she screams in agony. As you can see, she's okay now, but her attitude changed though. That's why I want you to be safe," he said as I stared at him in shock and fear. Why would he do that?

"H...He's my childhood friend. I can try to hel-" I was interrupted by his anger.

"No! Stay the hell away from him, he's dangerous. If anything happens to you, HELL I would kill that bastard!" He yelled as he shook me in anger. I flinched at his touch.

All of a sudden... I was in his arms. I stood there without moving, "I don't want to lose you," His hug became tighter as my eyes widened. I felt heat all over my face and replied to his hug. "And you won't." I whispered.

"Sting Eucliffe? Yeah, he's the Alpha of Sabertooth," Levy said in the other line. I paced around my bedroom as I bit my fingers in nervousness. "Did...Sting ever hurt one of us?" I asked and waited for her response. "Hm, indeed. It was Rebbaca," I closed my eyes and sighed in frustration. "Bakit? Wala sha ginagawa masama sa kanya! (Why? She didn't do anything wrong!)" I muttered as Levy sighed. "Same here. Maybe the Alpha Natsu had a past with him," she said as I agreed.

"Now, have you and Alpha been a bit close? Something with a like, like coming?" She asked as I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "I guess? It's difficult to answer. Sometimes he would act all romantic and the next thing he tells me to go home or something." I explained as I sat on my bed and laid down, looking up at the white ceiling above me while I talked in the phone. "Try wearing something..." She mutters under her breath.

"Nope, not gonna happen. He would yell at me for wearing something really revealing," I said as I shook my head. I'm not wearing anything inappropriate as well of wearing heels in school. We're wearing uniform for pete's sake! I sighed, "Well, I gotta go," I said as she hummed in response and ended the call. I sat up and opened the drawer beside my bed to get my computer. I sat down with the laptop on my lap and started watching "Yuri!!! On Ice." I was at the 7th episode and smiled, Victor and Yuri is so cute together! I started squealing like a little girl that just ate a sweet.

Suddenly the door bell rang. Both my parents are gone for a vacation so I'm here home alone. I quickly went downstairs and opened the door, I tilted my head and looked who the person is in confusion. "Natsu? Why are you here?" I asked as he sighed. "Your mom asked me if I stay were for a week, until your parents are home," he explained. Why does my parents still think I'm a little girl? I can take care of myself...

I sighed and opened the door widely to let him in. He carried a bag over his shoulder as he sat down on the couch. I awkwardly walked over to him and sat beside him, "Do you want anything?" I asked as he shook his head. I nodded, "Come, we actually have a guest room." I explained as I made a hand gesture, telling him to follow me.

I walked upstairs and opened a door beside my room. There was a a bed in the middle and a drawer beside with a lamp and a clock. In front of it, it was another drawer with pictures of my family and a mirror. I turned around to look at him and said, "You can sleep here," I said and smiled. "If there is anything you need, I'm here," I said and walked out of the guest room.

I got my phone in my pocket and ordered a hawaiian pizza. The door bell rang and skipped over to the door, thinking it's the pizza man. "Hi!...Sting?" I muttered and my eyes widened in shock.

How does he know I live here?
