ELLA POV

"Fine" Philip sighed.

"Yay!!" AJ and James cheered.

"KIDS DINNER!" Eliza yelled from downstairs.

"Aw man!" I whined. Philip shot me a glare.

"No fair! We never get to play pirates and princesses with Philip!" AJ whined after.

"Don't worry boys! We can play after dinner!" I smiled at the little boys who were now grinning. I love kids.

"We can play dress up Pirates and Princesses!!" James called jumping out of the room with his brother.

I was just me and Philip.

"Why did you do that?" Philip said glaring at me.

"Well your brothers looked so sad that we couldn't play and I couldn't keep it that way!" I smirked "plus now we're playing dress up"

"I hate you"

"I know, I hate you more though"

"Not possible Jefferson."

"Too bad Hamilton, it already happened" I said before hearing snickers from the doorway.

"There it is" Angelica laughed.

Mary whispered something in Angelica's ear, making them both laugh. When I was about to say something they ran towards the stairs.

I walked out of the room and Philip quickly followed. We got to the bottom of the stairs and I tripped on a rug. While trying to keep my balance I somehow fell backwards. Welp this is the end. Or not.

I felt a pair of strong arms around my waist that had kept me from falling on the floor. I finally opened my eyes after realizing I'm not dead. All I see is a freckled face I know and hate. But for some reason it didn't seem all that bad. Then I realize our faces are inches apart. I pull away, now standing up.

"Thanks" I mutter.

"Oohhhh" I hear Mary and Angelica say from where they are standing my the kitchen.

"Wow, no need to start falling for me" Philip smirked.

"Ew, no!" I realized he was still holding my waist "Now I have Philip germs!!" I whined.

We sat down and Eliza set out all the food. I thanked her multiple times and made sure Mar did too. I can't imagine what it's like cooking for all these people. Alexander didn't come home through the whole meal, which was probably for the best because there are two Jeffersons in his house right now. Dinner was good, mostly me and Philip glaring at each other and the younger ones talking about a lot. And the food was amazing, Eliza's a great cook.

We had finished and the girls went upstairs. The Hamilton boys, me and Eliza were all sitting at the table.

Eliza got up and started to clean up.

"Mrs. Hamil- er, Eliza?" I looked up at her while I got out of the chair.

"Yes Ella?" Eliza smiled sweetly. Everything she does is so sweet, how did she give birth to Philip?

"I was wondering if I could help you clean up? It's the least I can do" I laughed a little and smiled at Eliza.

"If you want to, that would be a huge help" Eliza said still smiling.

I started picking up dishes and washing them. "You're such a sweet girl Ella!" Eliza exclaimed as she helped me clean up. I felt a grin creep onto my face. Eliza went to go help James with something. I quickly turned around to look at Philip and stuck my tongue out. He rolled his eyes as I went back to washing dishes.

Once Eliza and I finished, AJ and James run up to Eliza.

"Mom can we play Pirates and Princesses dress up outside with Ella and Philip?" AJ asked super adorably.

Eliza turned to me and cocked an eyebrow. I just nodded.

"Alright" she laughed a bit.

"Yay!! Come on Ella we gotta get ready!" James celebrated and grabbed my arm.

AJ and James ran up the stairs and Philip and I followed.

"You guys wait in here, we'll be right back!" AJ smiled pointing at Philip's room.
I snickered a bit.

"What?" Philip asked referring to my laugh.

"They're gonna make you wear a dress!" I said before erupting into laughter.

AJ and James came back in wearing pirate costumes and holding things. "Pip, can you sit in Ange's room?" James asked Philip.

Philip groaned but did as the little boy asked.

"We're gonna make you a pirate!" AJ exclaimed.

I giggled as they pulled out a pirate costume. The boys walked out and I quickly put the costume on. It was clearly Philip's costume. It was way too big for me but it'll work to play. I grabbed an extra hair-tie off my wrist and pulled my curls into a bun while I walked out of the room to get the boys.

"Alright, I finished" I said to the little boys looking up at me.

"You look like a real pirate!" James giggles.

"Thanks James" I laughed.

"Can you tell Pip we're waiting for him in his room?" AJ asked.

"Sure!" I walked towards Angelica's room.

I walked in to see Mary and Angelica basically teasing him, it was funny.

"Philip the boys are waiting for you in your room" I said leaning on the doorframe.

Philip started laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" I threw my hands up and my sleeves went everywhere.

"That's so big on you!" Philip cried between laughing fits.

I crossed my arms and pouted. Philip got up and walked towards the door.

He tapped my nose with his finger and said, "Tiny Jefferson" He walked quickly towards his room.

I stomped my foot and threw my arms down with my hand is fists. "You big jerk!" I yelled at Philip as he walked into his room.

"Well that was something" Angelica said while she and Mary laughed.

I crossed my arms again and went to go sit on the bed next to them.

Mary snickered a little. "Ellie, your face is a little red"

"Is not!" I yelled felling my face get hot. The girls laughed as I calmed down.

"Mar, what did you whisper to Angelica earlier?"

"Oh, you can call me Angie" Angelica smiled.

"Oh, ok, now answer the question Mar"

"I said 'Are they fighting or flirting?'" Mary said before both of them busted out laughing again.

I was about to say something but I thought of something better to say.

"Well what about you two?"

"What do you mean?" Angie said after she stopped laughing.

"First off, Mar, I know and I support you, second, I see the way you two look at each other. And slightly blush when talking about each other"

"W-We do not!" Mar stuttered.

"Ella we're setting everything up outside! You stay here!" AJ yelled while running past Angie's room.

"Well ok then" I giggled.

"All my brothers are weird" Angie said rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, sadly for you, you're relatable to Philip" I disgustedly stated.

"Oh come on, he's not that bad!" Angie said.

I just looked at her like she said 'Tomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton stopped fighting'

James ran into the room. "Ella you can come with us now!"

I waved to the girls as I followed James outside.

The backyard is huge! There was a huge tree off the center of the yard with a tree house and a wooden swing. The grass is a beautiful, rich, green. There's a little garden closer to the house.

"The princess is in the high tower!" AJ points at the treehouse "But you have to beat us first!"

AJ and James kept whacking their plastic swords at me as I did the same. We continued to do this for a while until they pretended to fall to the ground hurt. I take that chance to run to the treehouse and 'save the princess'

I run up the ladder and bust out laughing at the sight.

"P-Philip you look ridiculous" I yelled between laughs.

Philip glared at me while I pulled out my phone to take a picture.

"GIVE ME YOUR PHONE!" Philip screamed.

I got up and ran, Philip not far behind. Sadly, Philip has much longer legs and is faster than me. He pinned me to the ground.

"Give me the phone"

"Nope!"

We glared at each other, Philip still on top of me, our faces inches apart, again. I gotta admit, his muscles are really defined in the dress and it doesn't look half bad.

"Oooh, are you guys gonna kiss?" Angie teased while Mary made kissy faces. We noticed that Mary and all the Hamiltons except Alexander were standing around us.

I shoved Philip off of me. "Ew he wishes"

"That's gross."

"Yeah, Princess~" I teased. Philip's face turned red in embarrassment while he glared at me. I laughed again.

"I hate you"

"One press of the button and I can send that picture to Theo, who can send it to the whole school." I smirked.

"You wouldn't dare"

"Oh but I would" I held up my phone with Theo's number and the picture pulled up.

"Fine!"

I laughed. "Princess~"
