I sat at the table, eating along with my Pokémon thinking maybe I'd give my main Pokémon a break and make an eeveelution team! How cute would that be? Of course Sylveon would stay, I'd add Vaporeon to my team, as well as Jolteon, Flareon, maybe Leafeon or Glaceon, and I'm torn between Espeon or Umbreon. I was so lost in thought I hadn't realized I barely took small nibbles of my food. I shook my head slightly, then saw Hop on his phone with a slight frown next to me. I leaned over, causing Hop to pull his phone back as well as his body. "Hey, what are you hiding there?" I asked while wriggling my brows. Hop laughs.

"'Don't be nosy'." He copied me and the way I said it yesterday. I pouted, punching his arm lightly.

"Come on. I ended up telling you what I was doing yesterday, didn't I?"

Hop rolled his eyes, "Fine. I'm texting Marnie."

I suddenly got an unbearable feeling in my stomach. "Marnie? Like. . Marnie, Piers' little sister?"

Hop nodded his head, "Yeaah. Why? Does it bother you?" I saw a smile creep its way on his lips. I went back to my food muttering a quiet 'no'. I never really liked her to be honest. Sure, she helped back when I was trying to get the keys from that one dude who was being stubborn as heck, but that didn't mean I had to like her. "Wow. You're a terrible liar."

I made a face at him, "I'm not lying!"

"There's another lie. Why do you like lying to your best friend?"

"Shut up!"

Hop nodded, with a pleased look on his face, "Nice come back Krissy."

"Don't call me that! It's Kritsen to you." I hissed with a poisonous tone. Stupid Hop and his dumb button-pressing face! I don't even know what nonsense I'm saying right now.

"What?! All because you suck at comebacks?" I ignored him, trying to eat my breakfast in peace now. "Oh wait, is it because you're jealous of Marnie?"

"I'm not jealous of her!"

"Yes you are!" Hop laughed while jabbing my waist. I huffed out, trying to push him away.

"Arcanine! Hop won't leave me alone!" My fiery partner rushed to my side, growling at my former best friend. Hop held his hands up in the air defensively.

"Hey, calm down bud. !"

My Arcanine continued to growl until Hop began to hustle to the other side of the table, leaving room for my loyal Pokémon to sit beside me and enjoy his meal. I stroked it softly beginning to caress the pokemon. I heard a deep purring making me smile at it. Good boy. The fire Pokémon laid its head in my lap. I turned over to Hop to stick my tongue out at him to see he was recording. I quickly covered my face since I hadn't fixed my hair yet. "Hop! Stop being an annoying piece of–"

"Language! Come on, stop covering your face! You look cute either way. This is going on my story!" Hop began snickering like a small schoolboy. I uncovered my eye to see Arcanine lift its head up and begin growl at him again. "Holy–" Hop slipped his phone his pocket letting me uncover my face. "Well I'm not leaving because I want to see if Lucario can control his power yet."

"Fine, but I want to do my hair!" I told him, leaving without finishing my breakfast.

After finishing my hair I came out to be greeted by Hop and his Lucario waiting, and the rest of my Pokémon waiting in line like a bunch of little kids waiting for lunch. "Okay. Let's see if we bonded enough." I called Sylveon over who happily jumped over. Sylveon stood in her battle stance, her ribbons floating around as always. There was something about Sylveon that I just loved. Sylveon is probably one of the cutest fairy types there are. The blinding light surrounded Lucario again, in the flash, out came Lucario's new appearance. "Use close combat!" I scoffed. Like that fighting move would even hurt Sylveon. So caught up in being cocky, I didn't shout a command. The power was overwhelming for Sylveon causing it to stumble to the ground.

"Sylveon?! You okay?!" I shouted. Sylveon stood up weakly. It began to shake, but managed to tough it out. "Use attract," I smirked at Hop who frowned in reply.

"U–uh, use close combat again!" Lucario swayed from side to side with its tongue sticking out. The poor love-struck Pokémon couldn't do anything anymore.

I giggled at the way Lucario looked at Sylveon, "Use Moonblast," I blew on my nails triumphantly. Lucario was out like a light. Of course it was, it may have mega evolved, but that didn't change the fact that I was the new unbeatable champion. The loud thud of the heavy Pokémon falling to the ground, then the sound of it returning to its poke ball was heard. I smiled at Hop who smiled back. "You managed to control it!" I shouted excitedly, hastily running to Hop and lunging forward into his arms. "Good job!" I smiled up at him.

"Thanks! I— uh— guess we should go tell Sonia now, huh?"

"Yep!"
