Since Kristen had been moving so much, her bra strap was out of place. "Krissy?"

"Hmm?" She mumbled.

"Your strap."

Krissy opened an eye, "What?" Hop sighed with an eye roll, reached over and pulled her strap up. "O-oh. Thanks." She whispered placing her head back closer to Hop's chest. Hop couldn't help the smile inching on his face. If Bede knew how his girlfriend was huddling up with him right now. Still, the thoughts of what more they could be lingered in his mind. Never stopped thinking about it. Kristen shifted uncomfortably, now wrapping her arms around Hop's fairly small waist. The boy responded by putting his arm around her. "Hop?"

Hop looked down at her, "Yeah, Kristen?"

"I love you."

Hop's heart felt as if it had beat so fast, it popped out of his chest. "W-what?! Y-you d-do?!"

"Of course I do. ." she yawned, "you're my best friend." Kristen said in a hushed voice. Hop chuckled silently, feeling dumb he thought more of it. He faked a smile, planting a soft kiss on her forehead. "Did- did you just kiss me?"

"Yeah. . ? I can do that, right? It's not like I kissed your. . lips."

Kristen stayed quiet for a moment, looking up at him, "Yeah." She smiled softly, putting both of her hands on his head, gently pulling him down and kissing his forehead. "Love you bestie."

Hop felt like crying right about now. "Love ya' too. ." He toughed it out though.

Hop woke up facing the tent, with two small arms wrapped around his waist, remembering that night. He quietly groaned at the thought. 'Bestie'. Like a punch in the gut, even though he was. He warned to be more than just her best friend. He wanted to her her best friend, boyfriend, and rival all in one. Krissy slowly fluttered her eyelids open slowly getting up while Hop stayed in the sleeping back. "Hop. .?"

"What?" He mumbled putting a pillow over his head.

Kristen weakly removed the pillow, leaning over him, "Stop being a baby and get up." Her voice was groggy and hoarse. Hop turned his head slightly, looking at the way her loose hair hung over her shoulders, the way her cute bangs were messy and she didn't care, or was too tired to notice. Hop cupped her pink tinted cheek in his hand mumbling a soft:

"God. . . Even when you haven't done your hair you're beautiful."

Kristen thought she heard a bit of that making her smile, "What was that Hop?"

Hop stood up hastily, pushing her off and removing his hand from her face. "Nothing."

"I tho-"

"I better go train Riri. Bye." In a rush, Hop left the tent without changing.

Kristen looked at herself, realizing she had yet to get changed out of her sleep wear. She rushed to her own tent, where she began changing. She had her back turned on the entrance of the tent, but she had zipped it up. She changed into her white sweatshirt, and Hop's jacket. She put on her white frilly skirt, with her black ankle boots, heading out. She found both Hop's and her Pokémon all sleeping under a tree. She smiled at them. She decided she'd make them a sweet curry, so she began cooking.

Hop paced around while his Lucario looked at him with a concerned expression, trying to get his attention multiple times, but nothing he did stopped Hop from pacing around the berry tree. "Why did I say that? Why do I have to feel so strongly for her? Lucario?" He turned for him for an answer for a brief moment. Lucario grunted, which wasn't exactly an answer he wanted. "I want to tell her so much, that I love her. Sometimes I just want to grab her and kiss her. You know?" He turned to Lucario again. Lucario cried out making Hop furrow his brows. "Seriously? Sylveon?" Lucario grunted again. "Well, I guess every pokemom has their own taste. ." Hop was still freaking out when he heard a notification go off. The rotom phone levitated in front of him. Hop took it in his hand seeing the message was from Bede:

'You think I wouldn't find out?'

Hop chuckled lightly responding with:

'Find out what? That I'm with your girlfriend right now? I could care less if you knew or didn't know.'

Lies. He heard another notification, but it was from Bede, it was from Marnie. It read:

'Hey, rumor has it that the champion's rival has a crush on her.'

Hop's jaw dropped:

'What?!! How did you know?!'

Hop thought he had made a fool of himself for admitting to it. He was proved correct to think so:

'Nah, I was just kidin', but now I know you do. Lol.'

Hop mentally slapped himselft, not bothering to answer any more of the texts. The Lucario tightly gripped Hop's hand, pulling him back to the camp site.

"Breakfast!" The enthusiastic brunette chime with a bright smile. Hop might've wanted to distance himself from Kristen for a bit, but how could he resist that sweet smile of hers? He couldn't.
