Is That A "Yes"?
A/n: Some crazy stuff is about to go down. Don't judge my chapter starting methods!!!!
Jake's pov:
'Thank God Walmart is open all the time.' I thought as a parked my bike. My parents honestly didn't mind that I was out this late. They trust me.
I went to the electronics section, and grabbed a few of the mist recently released Country music CD's. Then I went to the toy section, and got a bunch of Ever After High and Monster High merchandise.
I got her a box of assorted chocolate, and put it all in the cart as I went. I felt like I was missing something.... 'ART SUPPLIES!!!!!' I thought, frantically running to the home and office section. I grabbed a pink poster board, some camo stickers, some glitter glue, and I was ready to leave. I paid, hooked the stuff securely to the back of the bike, and went home. When I got there, I turned on my desk lap, and got to work.
The poster said "Call me Redneck Crazy, but it would be Hat-tastic if you went out with me and made me the happiest Manster in the land." And had the stickers all around it, and I glitter glued different colored hearts, and even a few logos from the different merchandise on it. I found a colorful woven basket, and some tissue paper in the basement.
I arranged the merch in the basket with the tissue paper, and realized I had to get ready for school. I honestly wasn't even tired, but I decided to get coffee.
I decided to text her dad, since he said he wanted a plan B on communication.
Jake🐺: Thank you for giving me your blessing, sir. I hope this works.
Fred 🚁: It will. I can't promise there won't be tears. She does that when she's really excited.
Jake🐺: Thank you sir. I promise to stay by her said as long as she wants me there.
Fred🚁: Good.
Sandy's pov:
I was woken up by "Rain Is A Good Thing" by Luke Bryan. Then my phone dinged.
Jake 🐺: Morning, darlin.
Sandy✝💖: Morning.
Jake: I'm on my way. Be there in a few.
It's 6:10. I got ready really quick, with a Monster High shirt showing Catty and Pharaoh that daddy got custom made for me, a knee length black skirt, and my usual footwear.
When I was done and had my makeup on and my hair done, the doorbell rang. 'Who could that be? Jake usually texts me when he's here.'
When I opened the door, "In Case You Didn't Know" by Brett young was playing from the radio of Jake's Motorcycle. I gasped when he stepped into the porch light holding a basket, and a poster, singing along.
He stopped in front of me, and I read the poster. He handed me the basket, and I busted out crying. He hugged me tight.
"Is that a 'Yes.'?" He asked, hopeful. "Of course it is!!!!!" I said happily. I hugged him back, and stained his shirt. 'Thank God for smudge proof makeup.' I thought. It's basically indestructible.
"You ready to go to school, darlin?" "Yeah. Let me put this stuff inside first." I ran the stuff to my room, made sure makeup and hair were intact and that I had everything, and rushed back out the door.
We hopped on the bike and headed to school. We had just gotten off the bike, when we saw Mitchell. He stormed over to us.
Jake's arm instinctively went around my waist and squeezed. "I don't understand why you hang around that weird, kid show loving freak."
That hurt, but I trued not to show it. "So that creepy jerks like you don't get to her. I don't understand why you still think you have a chance."
Just then, Jake wrapped his other arm around my waist, and pulled me into a kiss. My eyes closed instantly, and I melted into it. My arms went around his neck, and my hands found themselves tangled in his hair. He licked my bottom lip, and I granted h entrance.
He squeezed my hips, and I gasped into the kiss. We pulled away and caught our breath. "Woah..." I whispered, wondering how I didn't mess that up.
"WHAT THE H*LL?!?!?!" Mitchell screamed. "How about you stay away from my girlfriend?" Jake asked with cocky smirk.
"Fine I didn't want her anyway. She's too childish." He turned to leave, and the next thing I knew, he was on the ground. Screaming and crying.
"Don't call her childish again. Or it'll be your nose next time." I looked down, and Mitchell's lip was busted. "Serves you right." I said as Jake and I walked off.
We got into the school, and Jake pulled me into another kiss. If he kept this up, my grades would start dropping. He gripped my hips, and gently held me against the wall.
I wrapped my hands in his hair to hold him closer. He licked my bottom lip again, and I let him in. He gently squeezed my hips, and continued to explore my mouth when... *RING* He pulled away and groaned.
"We'll finish this later. Text your dad and tell him I'm takin you out tonight." "Ok, hon." And with that, we walked to class.
Once I sat down, I texted daddy the news. He said it was ok, and to check in. And that my curfew was 11 since it was a school night. I was ok with that.
Second period, all was quiet until I heard Jake let out a possessive growl, and felt his lips on my cheek. "He's in for it if he keeps looking at you like that." He practically growled in my ear.
"I'm ignoring him. Although, if you keep talking to me like that, and you start using a southern accent, we're going to have to meet in the parking lot."
"Deal." He chuckled and kissed the top of my head.
