~Sandy's POV~

The call was just my dad telling me the information for when he came home the following week.

y dad comes home today! His plane touches down at three. And it's Friday! He's back just in time for Halloween. These last couple months have been crazy without him.

I got ready for school, and Jake called me. I told him I was just about to walk out the door. I walked out, and he was there on the bike. I hopped on, and put my helmet on. He pulled out of the drive way, and we went to school.

*At the school*

"Tsk. Cat ears? Are you five?" Mitchell said. He had his arm around Veronica. I wanted to puke. "Yes, cat ears. Because I chose to look cute. I turned to Veronica, assesing her too short shorts and tight cami.

"I guess you chose to look trashy." I said before walking away. She yelled after me "You'll regret that!" Jake caught up with me. "Maybe not a good idea."

"And?" "Don't let them under your skin, darlin." He whispered in my ear. I shuddered. "Ok."

He kissed my head. The day passed pretty quick without incident. The last bell rang, and it was time to go get my dad. We ran home to get the truck.

*on the way to the airport*

I was bouncing in my seat. "Baby doll, you're driving." "I can't help it. My dad's plane is about to land!" We got there at 3:15. I texted dad and said we were there.

A few minutes later, I saw him. I jumped out of the truck. I ran and hugged him. "Hey, punkin." "I missed you."

He threw his bags in the bed, and we climbed into the cab. He decided to drive. He took us to TeeJay's. "I'm hungry." He said.

He parked, and we went inside. I saw someone who looked like Mark from Got7. I'm not a huge kpop fan (the author is. XD), but I like Got7. "Jake, daddy, I'll be right back."

I walked over to him. "I'm really sorry to bother you, but you look like Mark Tuan. I'm a fan of Got7." I said, probably sounding crazy.

"It's no trouble. You've got the right guy." "Wow. Can, can I get a picture?" How was I being calm? "Sure." "Thank you." I called Jake and my dad over. I introduced everyone.

Jake and daddy both took pictures. "Hey. We're actually having a concert in town soon. If you're interested."

"That would be great." He pulled out his phone, amd then a pen and paper. "Cool. Go to this website, and type this into the search bar. It's under 'reserved tickets'. What is your name, by the way.?"

"It's Sandra, but everyone calls me Sandy." "Well, Sandy, it was nice to meet all of you. Unfortunately, I have to get going. I look forward to seeing you all again."

We said our goodbyes, and he left. We were seated, and ordered immediately. "Y'all. I just met a famous person." I said.

"We know." Dad said. "I gotta call Eva! Daddy, do you trust the three of us goin alone?" "Yes." "Ok."

*on the phone, after they've gotten home*

Sandy💖⛪: Girl, you ain't never gonna believe who I met after pickin daddy up from the airport!
Eva💜😍🍀: Who?!
Sandy💖⛪: You love him. He was born in LA.
Eva💜😍🍀: You did not meet Mark freaking Tuan without me.  That man- Lemme stop.
Sandy💖⛪: You're going to the concert with me.
Eva💜😍🍀: *ear splitting scream* Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!  Iloveyouiloveyouiloveyou!!!!!!!!!
Sandy💖⛪: I love you too.  You're welcome.

*line goes dead*

'Well.  I did my job.' I thought.  I was looking at my cat costume for the next day.  Making sure everything was set up purrfectly.  Jake was gonna be so surprised.

A/n: Oof.  Sorry this is short.  I didn't really want to have two time skips.  The Encounter was the day after the concert, which I'm just going to say was Friday.  Hopefully the next chapter will be better and longer.  Also, I know there are a lot of typos and things, and I sincerely apologize.  The details of the Got7 concert  and Halloween will be in the next chapter.  The concert itself will probably get its own.  732 words.
