Chapter Three

     Percy's POV

They pounding on the door. They yelled for me to let them in. For me to come out. I just cried and cried. I looked over at the bathroom.

You're worthless Percy, they wouldn't care...

I slowly got up, still crying, and started to walk towards the bathroom. I stopped. No, I'm not going to do it. I shook my head and began to cry harder.

Weak. Pathetic. You're such a baby, crying like this.

I stumbled back over to my bed and did a face plant, letting out a low groan and interrupting my cries. Not feeling like crying anymore, I covered my face with a pillow. "Percy? Percy let us in please!" Jason begged. I didn't want to fight. I didn't want to see them, either.

I groaned into the pillow and willed some water from my fountain over to move the dresser. It slid across the ground and I stood, stumbling for a second before grabbing the bed post for balance. I regained my balance and wiped tears from my eyes before grabbing the door knob. The door swung open when I twisted it, and they all looked shocked. "Hey. Sorry about that..." I muttered sheepishly. "Nightmare." I lied.

You sneaky little bastard. You shouldn't lie to your girlfriend you know?

Annabeth nodded, smiling sadly at me. "You want to talk?"

I shook my head. "No..." I muttered.

"That's okay." She told me, reaching out and squeezing my arm slightly. I smiled weakly at her.

"So..." Leo said awkwardly. "What should we do?"

I shrugged. "I feel bad for earlier, and making you guys worry. We should get out of camp for a bit." I offered.

They all looked at one another. "Sounds good!" Jason exclaimed.

*timeskip 'cause I'm hella inpatient and I really want to write this part.*

"By Chiron!" I yelled, waving to him as the seven, Nico and Will ran down the hill towards the van. He waved a hesitant goodbye, looking like he was regretting letting a bunch of teens go to town for the night.

         To late.

I was feeling much better, I guess I just needed that night to get it out of my system. Then again, I've been pushing aside all of my emotions for the past hour while we've been getting ready. (Sorry, I have to interrupt this, I'm listening to the Gorillaz [Clint Eastwood, an amazing song. Also Feel Good Inc.] and I realized I've never seen their faces, so I look them up. Is it just me or does it look like they want to murder everyone?)

We all hop into the van and goof off while Argus drives us to New York. Where the fun will take place. Apollo stopped by and gave me a gift, which just so happened to be a Lotus Casino card, so we can buy anything and everything.

We stopped in a boardwalk. I thank Argus, pay him a few drachmas, then we all hop out and look around. "How are we going to pay for anything?" Piper asked, looking over at me.

I grinned and held up the Lotus Casino card. Nico and Annabeth jump back and I laugh softly. "Don't worry. It was a gift from Apollo." I assured them.

"What is it?" Leo asked, looking at it curiously.

"It has no limits to money. Like an endless supply." I told him. "It's from the Lotus Casino, where Nico was trapped and where Annabeth, Grover and I stayed for a while. Time passes quicker in there, but you don't age. Which is how Nico still looks sixteen when he's really, what, over ninety years old?" I asked, looking over at him.

"I'm only 86." Nico said, scowling. (I stick firm on the belief Nico is born in 1932.)

"Right- Wait. So you were born in 1932?" Leo asked, looking shocked.

"Did you NOT know this?" Nico asked, scowling at him.

"Um, NO!" Leo yelled. "I didn't know I had an old man on my boat!"

"Excuse me?" Nico asked. "Did you just call me an old man?"

Leo gulped. "Um, you are 86..."

"Damn kids." Nico muttered under his breath, making all of us, including him, burst into laughter. (*Dam.)

"Alright, are we all good?" Piper asked with a grin, her arm looped through Jason's.

"Yeah, I think so." Annabeth replied. We all nodded.

"Great! Let's go!" I yelled, running into the nearest building.

*time skip because I'm to lazy*

Will and Leo yawned at the same time, and all of us were exhausted. Except for Piper and Annabeth, who I think had one too many drinks. (They're all twenty one and up, don't worry.) I never thought of Annabeth as a drinker, but she went to town tonight. Meanwhile, Nico and Will stayed away from any alcoholic beverages, Leo had a few shots, which was surprising to me, Hazel tried a sip and spat it out, and Frank decided that he didn't want any either after that, and Jason and I had a few shots then for whatever reason shared a beer. Like, legit I took a sip then he took it from me taking a sip and the cycle never really stopped.

"I'm tired." Nico muttered, which of course set off Will's doctor-y side.

"Me too." I agreed with a yawn, leaning against Jason's side because he was pretty much the only one able to support my weight. Jason, not even questioning my actions, nodded.

"Percy, can you come over here for a second?" Annabeth asked, gesturing over to a dark area of the bar with her head.

"Um, sure." I agreed with a shrug I followed her over to the area and she turned to me with a grin, that looked very flirtatious.

She suddenly yanked a cloth from her pocket and covered my mouth and nose, holding the back of my head to it. It smelt awful. I tried to pry her hands away, but I could feel myself getting weaker and weaker. She grinned as she saw me struggle. "Shh, it's okay Percy." She whispered.

I wasn't able to talk and I could feel myself getting weaker. Weaker and weaker until I dropped to my knees, not able to stop myself. The world seemed fuzzy and doubled as I fell forwards, towards the floor, but Annabeth caught my shoulders and supported me. Why was she doing this? What WAS she doing?

She knelt down to my level, definitely smirking flirtatiously, though it wasn't like Annabeth at all. I think she had more drinks than I thought. "Oh no Perce, I didn't drink anything tonight actually. I'm just excited." She purred. For what? Paralyzing me so I can't move? Oh goody.

She grabbed my shoulders and hoisted me up so I was leaning on her. Scratch that, Annabeth can support my weight too. She started to drag me to one of the back rooms... Wait. I tried to escape her grip, but all of my limbs were numb and tingly and I wasn't able to move them. "Don't worry babe." Annabeth said, grinning as she dragged me into an empty room. "We're going to have a good time."

      Jason's POV

"Where's Percy and Annabeth? It's been almost forty five minutes!!" I asked no one in particular.

"He's having the time of-" Leo hiccupped and stumbled slightly. "Of his life with Annabeth." Leo slurred.

"Leo, did you have more sho- Wait, what did you just say?" Nico asked, cutting himself off.

"Annabeth told me she's gonna-" Leo hiccupped. "Gonna sleep with Percy. While he's paralyzed."

"WHAT!?" Nico screamed, turning some heads. "Okay I'll be right back Will!" Nico yelled, giving a confused Will a kiss before sprinting into one of the back rooms.

Will frowned. "Does he still like Percy?" He asked, looking deflated.

"I don't think so... But I'm confused..." I muttered, rubbing my temples.

"Why would Annabeth tell Leo of all people?" Piper asked, looking over at Leo skeptically.

"C-Cause she made me make the drug." Leo hiccupped again. "She didn't tell me what it was for until it was tooooooo late." Leo shook his head and giggled. (Oh gods, drunk Leo... *shakes head*)

"So Annabeth paralyzed Percy- Isn't that classified as rape if he doesn't want to... You know?" I asked, looking at the terrified looking Frank and Hazel. Frank moved his hands to cover Hazel's ears and I smiled apologetically yet weakly.

Suddenly there was a loud rustle of movement and I saw Percy shoving through people. "Percy! Come back! You aren't stable yet!" Nico yelled, running after him. Percy was half dressed with his jeans on, but no shirt.

Percy continued to try to run but ended up falling, hitting the ground with a lot of force. I winced and ran over, helping him sit up. He had tears running down his face, and his eyes were red and swollen. His lower lip was trembling. Nico crouched down in front of him, shoving me out of the way in the process. "Oh gods, Percy calm down okay?" Nico asked, hugging him tightly. I stood and took a step back awkwardly. Percy hung his head and didn't say anything, nor did he hug back. Just sat there limply, crying.

"Can you move anymore?" Nico asked gently, pulling away from the hug. Percy looked like he was concentrating but he didn't move. Nico sighed. "It must have been adrenaline that allowed you to move, how about we leave Annabitch here and go home huh?" Nico asked softly. Percy didn't offer a response, just looked ashamed.

"Jason, Frank, can you get Percy?" Nico asked, looking back at us.

"I... Um, yeah." I muttered, shocked. Percy obviously didn't want to sleep with Annabeth, especially when he wasn't able to even talk.

Nico got behind him and held his shoulders so he wouldn't be able to fall while Frank and I walked over, each hauling him up by an arm. He was a lot heavier when he didn't have any of his strength. "Um, Leo? How long is this supposed to last?" Hazel asked, looking over at him.

Leo was about to take another shot but Piper glared at him, tearing it from his hands. He stuck his tongue out at her. "O-Only about four hours. It triggers the-The chemical in your mind that makes it so you don't move to much-move to much while you're dreaming and stays there for a few hours."

"Four hours?!" I yelled, then took a deep breath and focused on carrying Percy.

         "Bad Leo! Bad!" Piper scolded.

Nico dropped back behind us and grabbed the slightly down-looking Will's hand and squeezing tightly. Wills mood brightened a little bit after that and I almost smiled. Almost. "Where's Annabeth?" I asked.

Nico shrugged. "I shoved a stack of metal chairs in front of the door before she could get out, but she should be out soon. We need to move." I nodded and together we all left the bar, leaving Annabeth to pay for it.

Piper took the monster-proof phone from Percy's back pocket and his eyes flashed with panic. "Don't worry," I whispered in his ear. "It's just Piper."

His eyes settled down a little bit as Piper called Argus to pick us up early. Silent tears ran down Percy's face still, and it was still shocking to see. Percy never cried, in front of anyone at least. I've been skeptical ever since the cabin incident. It took a bit for me to realize Percy's back would hurt if we dragged him the entire way from the angle. "Frank, let go of Percy." I told him. He looked confused but obliged.

I swung my other arm under his knees as he started to fall and the other one across his back and under his arms. His head fell limply against my chest, legs dangling uselessly. I frowned at how vulnerable he was. The van finally pulled up and we all got in, me setting Percy next to me. I buckled him up, because safety is important, and buckles myself up.

His head limply hung backwards, hanging over the seat a bit. It looked a bit uncomfortable for his neck, so I gently repositioned his head so it was leaning on my shoulder. Tears still ran down his face, soaking my shoulder, but I didn't really care. (By the way, [unless you want it to be] this is not a Jercy story. More of a bromance, unless you want to take out the b. I'm fine with that.)

We drove in awkward silence, Nico occasionally looking back behind his to look at Percy with a worried expression then turn his attention back to an obviously jealous Will. Once we got to camp, I paid Argus and helped Percy out. He still had about three hours of this, and it was only seven. (I don't know what time everything was and I'm to lazy to check, so it's 7pm now.)

I carried Percy past the camp boundaries and headed for the big house. "Where are you going?" Nico asked, running to catch up with me.

"I'm reporting Annabeth." I growled. I never knew I was so protective over Percy until this happened. Percy's eyes looked even more ashamed.

"Don't feel bad Percy. She..." I shook my head. "She shouldn't have done that. That was very... Very..."

"Wrong? Disgusting? Terrible? Something she should fall into Tartarus alone for?" Nico offered.

"Right." I agreed. I realized it was dinner, as all of the campers were in the dining pavilion, so I changed my destination to there.

As soon as I walked into the pavilion, most the heads turned in our direction. Dionysus and Chiron looked confused as I walked through the isle, me carrying Percy, Piper dragging Leo by the ear, and everyone else looking worried. "Percy my boy, what's wrong?" Chiron asked once we stopped in front of him.

"He... Can we talk? In private?" I asked. The entire pavilion was dead silent.

"Of course. Just you and Percy?" He asked, looking nervous as he noticed the tears streaming down Percy's face.

"And me. I know the most." Nico said, taking a step forward. Chiron nodded.

"Of course. Let's go. Mr. D, you're in charge." All the campers (and Mr. D) groaned.

Chiron just rolled his eyes and started to trot out of the pavilion, Nico, a limp Percy and I following close behind.
