Y/n gasped seeing the bandits barge through their door. Taehyung had stepped in front of her in a protective manner.

"The lady is very attractive." One of the bandits sent her a perverted look.

"Give us the lady and we'll spare your life." Several bandits agreed. "Or if you want you can stay here for a moment and let us give you a show." then they all cackled.

"Too cruel." One laughed. "You're gonna fuck the girlfriend in front of the boyfriend."

"We literally killed people and you think that's cruel." Then they laughed again.

"They're dumb." Y/n whispered to Taehyung who was seething with anger.

They really are though since they're conversing in front of them rather than taking them already. It's an advantage since Y/n and Taehyung could prepare to attack again.

"I'll fight them then you run ok?" Y/n was then hit with a déjà vu.

'When I shout you run ok?'

'There's a backdoor. Go run there ok?'

She could still remember those words very vividly.

"No. I'll fight with you."

"Y/n you're sick right now. It'll be best for you to run." Taehyungs said, lightly panicking that Y/n was being disobedient.

"There's no time to argue Taehyung." Y/n hands him a thick wood that was used to hold the window. "I'll fight with you whether you like it or not." With that, Y/n took the first step and swung her own thick wood to one of the bandits.

She might be sick but there's still enough strength to fight.

And also, adrenaline.

Y/n poured out all of her frustrations as she swung the wood.

She didn't even notice Taehyung joining her to beat the bandits. She had lose everything before and the least she can do right now is to fight and try to save Taehyung along with herself.

Every hit she had delivered resulted into one of the bandits being knocked out since she directly aimed for their heads.

She felt a little guilty but it's either kill or be killed.

Y/n saw one of the bandits trying to attack Taehyung while he was busy attacking another one, so she decided to hit that one first.

But the consequence is that she didn't notice the others that was aiming for her.

She successfully protected Taehyung but then she felt a sharp pain coming from her back.

"Ugh!"

"YIN!" Taehyung yelled in panick.

"I'm fine." Y/n smiled, despite the piercing pain that she had.

She had tried to swung the wood again but it was caught by a hand.

"Seems like missy is losing her strength." One of them mocked.

Y/n wasn't having any of it so she did the only thing she could do.

Kick them in the nuts.

The bandit immediately cried out in pain but Y/n wasn't done.

She was still very.. very pissed.

As the bandit lies there, legs open in pain, he didn't had the time to clutch his crotch when Y/n slammed her foot on it again.

And again.

And again.

It was like she was trying to smash it completely.

"I."

"Am.'

"Not."

"Weak."

With these words was partnered with stomps.

Several bandits was frozen in their place and even forgot why they were attacking the two.

Seeing their fellow bandit on the floor with his pride getting smashed was a sight they never knew would be too much.

They cringed as they saw the blood coating his crotch.

"Come near. I crave violence." Y/n smiled. She's tired of being the weak one.

Y/n who was hit at her back stretched out and fixed her posture, with a satisfying crack.

Her body was still aching due to the impact and also because of the flu.

Despite that, Y/n showed her two fingers and motioned them to charge at her.

"Are you all seriously afraid of a girl?"

"Why?" Y/n piped in. "Does me being a girl means that I'm less dangerous?" Y/n laughed. "Well you all might be in greater physique than me but I have a greater mind."

The structure of the brothel was very old, the walls were already eaten by termites as well as the post so it wasn't that sturdy. It was also one of the reason why she got those two thick wood.

Thankfully those two were thick enough to withstand all the hitting she's done.

After stating those words, Y/n gathered all of her strength and swung towards one of the post of the room. The post immediately broke and half of the room collapsed except the one where Taehyung and Y/n was standing.

"Come on Tae." Y/n dragged the dazed Taehyung to jump out of the window.

The brothel doesn't have any second floor so the window and land distance was very short.

The two then ran outside and saw that most of the people in the brothel had been caught by the bandits.

Taehyung saw her gazing at the oppressed citizens and immediately tried to oppose her thoughts.

"No. Yin, we're not strong enough to save them all."

Y/n was filled with sadness because she knew that what Taehyung had said was true. The best thing that they could do is rush back to the empire and inform them of the war to send troops here.

Y/n stumbled as they run away, she was still feeling weak but she managed to match Taehyung's pace.

"Climb on my back." Taehyung said after seeing her struggle.

"I can walk. Me on your back will slow us down." Y/n said.

"Yin-"

"Don't be stubborn Kim Taehyung." With that Taehyung gnashed his teeth and decided to follow her.

It was hard to bear seeing her stumble while walking. If only he was strong enough.

Taehyung sighed and looked ahead of them.

A small stable greeted his eyes and Taehyung was filled with relief.

"There should be at least one horse there." Taehyung smiled at Y/n in which she retaliated with a small smile too.

Luckily for them, there was still a horse but it was only one. 

Taehyung immediately tried to remove the leash of the horse that was tied to the stable while Y/n was looking around in case of any more danger.

Swoosh

An arrow went past her hair and Y/n froze.

Realizing that she wasn't the target, Y/n yelled, "Tae! Dodge!" she tried to cover his body but she was knocked by someone.

Another body covered Taehyung, "Urgk!" he groans.

The familiar voice sent a relief mixed with worry to Y/n.

With all of the things that happened, this might be the one that finally cracked her emotions as Y/n teared up after seeing Jungkook pierced with the arrow.

Jungkook who was on top of Taehyung then hissed, "Idiot. Can't even dodge an arrow." He scolds.

Y/n sniffs and approached him.

"I'm alright, don't cry." Jungkook softened his voice as he caressed her cheek.

Y/n, who had tried keeping her emotions intact, broke down and sobbed upon receiving the small act of affection.

"Oh shit." Taehyung whispered harshly.

The two looked at him.

"The arrow is poisoned."
