Thor

I groaned , then sat up so quickly that I banged my head on the short ceiling above. Hard. However, I would not let my smile fade. Today we would return to Midgard, or Earth as the others called it. It had been 5 and 1/2 years since my brother Loki...                       happened. 

If I dwell too long on that subject I will become a shell for hours. Once it even was days.It had been half a year since we defeated Thanos and I joined the  Guardians Of The Galaxy. I was good friends with Rabbit and Tree and Drax. Oh,Nebula and Mantis too. Peter Lord wanted dominance. Sure, I had let myself go a little, but I am the immortal God Of Thunder for crying out loud! I could crush his puny skull like a grape with my bare hands. 

Suddenly, I recalled my nightmare. It reminded me of Loki and what happened. I shook my head swiftly. I cannot dwell on what cannot be real. Rabbit has been kind enough to teach me that. 

I stand ready to wake the crew and prepare for a hopefully nice trip to Midgard.

I was standing on Svaltarhiem. Suddenly, the area in front of me shimmered green. Out of the green stepped Loki, my long-dead brother. He smiled sadly at me. I rushed forward and hugged him tighter than even I thought possible. He hugged back awkwardly then patted my back signaling me to let go. I did so reluctantly looking him straight in the eyes the whole time. 

I finally found my voice and asked, 'How do you live brother?' He kept the sad smile and said,' I will always come back." Then he said, much quieter, "I'm still here."
