•she has several scars on her abdomen and upper legs, mostly on her stomach and thighs, from beatings from her mother when she was younger.

•she grew up in a small town, living with her mother and father. everything was peaceful- until her father's first wife found out about "the other woman and her daughter", anna and her mom.
•that was when the abuse started. her father was killed in a car crash, and her mom blamed her for ruining her life, because of anna hadn't been born, no one would have known.
•after elementary school, anna met the empath, who had just moved here. they became friends right away, and still are.
•she quickly developed a crush on her friend, one that still persists to this day. her mother found out about her "unnatural" liking of other girl's, and that's when the beatings got worse. she forbade her to tell anyone, not a single soul, or it would get worse. since then, she became unlikeable so people wouldn't prod.
•anna has lived in extreme fear since then, and has trouble opening up to people because of it. she is hoping college will let her escape.
