As expected Shivaay started to go to office early morning even before the guard open the gate and will go home only after Anika's departure. Indeed she is a energy booster for him. Her one look is enough to make his day complete. Anika's cabin is next to Shivaay, they even had a connecting door. But Anika being Anika always make sure that the door locked from her side. While Shivaay always kept the blinds wide open so that he could get a glimpse of her. Shivaay continued to send bouquets there too. It will be a lie if Anika didn't enjoy the attention she's getting from Shivaay. Unknowingly, she started to wait for the receptionist to enter her cabin with bouquets which is sent by an 'unknown person' every morning.

On the other side, Anika too started to get comfortable around Oberoi staffs. They were so cooperative enough but the minus point is that they love to gossip. Tej and Shakti was little upset, they thought that their plan is not working. Not only Tej and Shakti, this whole idea was planned by all the Oberois except Pinky. Everyone badly wanted shivika to unite. So, Tej and Shakti decided to appoint Shivaay to supervise Anika's team. Sometimes Gowry and Jhanvi will bring lunch for them. They will literally force Shivaay and Anika to eat together. Shivaay very well know his family motive but Anika didn't. She thought it to be normal so didn't pay much attention to it.

Anika went to Shivaay's cabin to get his signature in some papers. Since Tej and Shakti made him to supervise Anika, his signature is needed in every changes they made to the company. At first Anika got annoyed with the new rule but she kept silent knowing nothing can be changed. Shivaay irritate her more with some stupid questions. He wanted her to stay little longer with him. Suddenly lightning pass through their room followed by a hard thunderstorm startling both of them. In no time the lights started to scatter and went off. Shivaay immediately turn on his flashlight from mobile and went beside Anika. Anika was scared but she cleverly masked a brave look and reacted as if nothing happened. She turned towards shivaay and spoke.

Ani : You don't have to overreact this much. I'm not scared to this. Darkness, in fact I love them now, calm, silent and no drama. Anyways, send this forms to my cabin once you sign it.

Anika walk out. Shivaay sighed sadly. It's true that she started to respond and talk with him. But each and every words of her are heart piercing. She's very good at selecting words to strangle him alive.

Days pass by, it was Saturday and as usual everyone got busy with their works. Just like everyday Anika got her bouquet, but the sender is not to be seen anywhere. Normally Shivaay will be in office before everyone but today it's past 11 in the morning and he's not around. Anika searched all over the office but she didn't even get a glimpse of him. "Why am I searching for him? Am I missing him? Nooo, no way. Why should I miss him. I don't give a damn about him" She talked to herself. Although she said she didn't care about him but her heart couldn't accept that fact. She felt restless still she shrug it off. She got more annoyed or can say worried on lunch time where most of the staffs enquire about their boss to Anika. Why everyone asking about him to me? Of course they will ask her because everyone know that they are family now.

Anika couldn't handle the patience anymore so she walk to Tej's cabin holding some papers. While getting his signature Anika ask about Shivaay.

Ani : Uncle... Urmm sh..Mr Oberoi not in office today?

Tej : You're talking to one.

Ani : I mean Mr Shivaay Singh Oberoi

Tej : Ahh.... Shivaay he's not feeling well Anika. Still he was adamant to come to office today but finally he was caught by his dadi. ( he told while laughing)

Tej : You want to tell him anything.. I can

Ani : No no.. No uncle. It's just that everyone was asking me about him and I wanted his approval for this. Thank god you here to sign if not I have to wait until Monday. Thank you uncle, I'll take my leave then.

Tej inform his family about Anika's enquiry about Shivaay. The Oberois celebrated the good news happily along with some mouth watering dinner. All the while Shivaay was just smiling ear to ear like an idiot.

It was Sunday. Shivaay's health is better now. Since everyone at home, they decided to have dinner outside.

The Oberois choosed Chinese cuisine restaurant. They are happily chit chatting while discussing how to mend Shivika's relationship. Shivaay was little upset due to Pinky's constant ignorance. He tried to talk to her many times but all in vain. He understood that only Anika can make his mother talk to him. For that he should talk with Anika first and for that Anika should listen to him too. Waahh, so many tangled chains he thought.

Rudy saw a familiar figure pass by their table along with a guy. It was none other than Anika. She had dinner in the same restaurant as them but they failed to notice her. They are too much engrossed in planning for Shivika's reunite. Everyone turn to see her retiring figure. She looked so happy and calm. But who is that guy could be? They wondered. She looked so happy with him. What if it's her boyfriend? If yes, then what will happen to Shivaay? Will he be able to digest the fact? They shocked and scared at the same time. Gowry observed everyone's facial expression. They changed from happy to Shocked to worried.

Gowry : Hey why you all look so worried now?

Om : Didn't you see, Anika has came to have dinner with someone? A guy! What if they're in relationship?

Gowry : He's just her friend. He is Chandna Didi's brother in law, Sanjay bhai. You know he got proposed Anika didi once but she rejected his proposal.

Shiv : She already reject right, then why she came for dinner with him?

Rudy : Owh Bhaiyaa, your temperature is getting higher. (Teasing Shivaay)

Shivaay glared Rudra and Rudy went quite.

Gowry : He's a very good guy bhaiyaa. He helped us a lot with Chandna didi. Even I got pester Anika di to accept his proposal but she denied. Thank god she didn't, you know, you're the perfect man for my Anika di.

Shivaay smiles for Gowry's last line.

The next day, Shivaay entered his office. He looked happy yet very weak and tired. Anika felt light seeing him all fine after two days.

Anika entered his cabin to get approval for some interior design. Shivaay immediately sign those papers without have a single look and kept them on his side. Using the opportunity Shivaay initiated some conversation.

Shiv : So how's the work going on?

Ani : All good Sir. We are done with ground floor and reception. Since second floor is under some maintenance, we are working on third floor now.

Shiv : Good. I have to tell you that the reception look so beautiful, especially the water fountain and the waiting lounge. They look so good.

Ani : Thank you. I'll take my leave now. (Get up from seat and eyed Shivaay) ermm, the papers.

Shiv : oh yeah, here you go. (He gave those papers to Anika and she turn to leave)

Shiv : I saw you yesterday in a restaurant. We were there too.

Anika just nodded.

Shiv : You came with a guy right? Who..

Ani : Before you ask who's that, you know right I can't stay with one guy... so yeah, he is one of them.

Shiv : Anika please, I'm dying every second for all those words I told you. I'm sorry, I didn't mean them and you know that.

Anika left his cabin without replying anything. Shivaay sat down with sad sigh. This girl is deliberately doing this, before this she was calling me Mr Oberoi and now Sir. Anika.. Anika when you'll accept me? Shivaay murmured to himself.

After lunch hour, Anika was discussing something with her team in meeting room. Then Khanna approached her. He handover few medicine to Anika, making her frown in confusion.

Khanna : Mam I'm having an urgent work at security department. Can you please give this medicine to Shivaay sir? He forget to take at morning also.

Ani : But why me? I'm busy right now

Khanna : Mam please mam. I can't trust anyone regarding sir's health.

Anika walked into Shivaay's cabin and put his medicine on the table. Shivaay gave her a blank look. Then Anika told him what Khanna said to her.

Shiv : Okay... I'll eat it later. Thanks

Ani : No...eat now.

Shiv : Can't you see I'm busy right now. I'll eat later.

Ani : You already skipped your morning medicine, eat now or else I'll call dadi.

Shiv : Listen, I have many files to go through,this Medicine will make me drowsy and I don't want that. I'll eat once I finish my work.

Ani : Okay,.. I'm calling dadi.

Shiv : Damn!!... Fine

Shivaay gulped down the pills one by one. Shivaay felt content over her care. Even she act as if she doesn't care, he know his Anika well. Then Anika joined back with her team. After almost one hour she return back to her cabin. Something strike her mind. She slowly moved her blinds aside to check Shivaay once. Since both their cabins are next to each other, Shivaay always let the blinds open so that he can watch Anika from his cabin. But Anika being stubborn, she'll always let the blinds closed. She make sure that Shivaay can't even get a glimpse of her. But today she thought to have a look on him. Is she caring for him? She asked. No, it's called humanity, she consoled herself.

Shivaay is seen leaning on his chair uncomfortably. He is slowly falling unconscious. Anika saw this, unlocked the attached door and walk towards Shivaay's cabin. Watching Anika approaching him, Shivaay tried to stand up only to be stumble back. Anika immediately held him by his elbow. Then she helped him to lay down on the couch. After made him lay down comfortably, Anika turn to leave but she felt a tug. Shivaay held her hand firmly.

Shiv : Stay with me Anika... Please. Don't hate me. I'm sorry Anika. Forgive me please.

Shivaay whisper meekly audible enough to heard by Anika. Tears make way from his eyes and slowly he closed his eyes. Anika gently removed her hand from his hold. She can't help but cares his hair softly. She know that he's genuinely wanted to mend their relationship. At the same time, she couldn't forget her bitter past, her painful past. what if he hurt her again? She is scared to give him a second chance. It's already a hard game for her to control herself from falling again for him. Here, he is only making it more worst. She couldn't see him so vulnerable, it's hurts her somewhere. He's in pain too. No, no Anika no, his pain is nothing compare to you. Stop pity him! Warned her mind. Coming out of the thoughts, Anika return to her cabin. She try to delete whatever happened few minutes ago and focus on her work.
