All the Oberois are seen having breakfast happily. Gowry was serving everyone. As usual the table was filled with business talks, jokes and teasing. But one person was not at all interested in that. It was Shivaay. He was in deep thoughts on how to face Anika and seek her forgiveness. Gowry noticed that Shivaay is not having his food and jerk him out of his thoughts. Then she serve more food to his plate and pester him to eat. That's when she notice something in shivaay's ring finger.

Gowry : Bade bhaiyaa, this ring..?

Rudy : Oh bhaiyaa, you found it? You told me you lost it somewhere. Actually bhabhi this is bhaiya's lucky ring.

Gowry : But I think I saw this ring somewhere before. It's look so familiar..

By now, everyone's eyes are on Shivaay and his ring. Shivaay mentally cursed himself for not hiding the ring from them. He very well know how his family members will notice him head to toe. He wore that ring a day before, since he left home early and back late night none noticed it yesterday. Unfortunately, gowry notice it today. Did gowry know about this ring, of course she will. It's her father's ring after all. It was gifted by Anika to him.

Flashback starts

Shivaay and Anika is spending their leisure time in Mathew and Noric's apartment. They both were all alone while Mathew and Noric went to their respective hometown. Anika was still couldn't get over from her father's demise. Shivaay thought to lift her mood by taking her out somewhere but Anika refused. She just wanted to lean on Shivaay's chest and sleep under his embrace. So they choosed to spend time in their friends apartment. Anika is resting her head on Shivaay's chest with closed eyes and Shivaay hugged her by waist and deepened his face into her hair inhaling her fragrance.

They both were sad actually. They was waiting for Mr Harshvardan's answer. But never they knew despite happy news, his death will came as a storm. But they also know how happy was he when they inform about their relationship. They very well knew he'll say yes but they didn't get the chance to hear it from him. Shivaay jerked when he feel something sliding into his finger. It was Anika sliding a ring into Shivaay's finger.

Shiv : Aniii... What are you doing?

Ani : A gift for you.

Shiv : But this is your dad one right? Why you giving me Anika?

Ani : Shivaay.. This ring was gifted to my dad by my mom on their wedding anniversary. This ring was so dear to my dad. He'll never take it off. When I came here to study, I forcefully took this ring from him so that I'll always feel him around me. I'll always feel that he'll protect me, give me strength through this ring. And I know he's still doing that..

Shiv : Then why are you giving me now? I know how dear is this ring for you

Ani : Will you let me complete first?

Shivaay nodded and Anika continue.

Ani : Yeah this ring is very dear to me. He'll protect me no matter he's alive or death. I know he's still protecting me in the form of YOU. So I'm giving this ring to you. Now YOU ARE MY STRENGTH SHIVAAY. Whenever you look at this ring, you should know that there is one girl who needs your time, love, care and protection. And also It's always you who'll gift me, so I'm giving you this, my precious thing ever to you as my gift. And I know papa will be happy too.

Shivaay never spoke anything. Moving close to Anika, he cupped her face kissed her forehead. He know she is in pain. But the fact that Anika looking at shivaay in her dad's place only overwhelmed him more. He promised to be her strength and love her unconditionally. Looking at her face he spoke.

Shiv : Love you Ani

Ani : Don't forget that I'm your responsibility now. Dare you run away from it.

Shiv : NEVER. (Pecked her lips)

Anika hugged him by shoulder and closed her eyes in content mouthing "love you too Shivaay".

Oh My, but he broked his promise, left his responsibility which is her. All together he crushed her trust on him.

Soon, Shivaay's trance was broken by gowry's chirpy voice. That's when he realise that all the family members are looking at his face keenly waiting for an answer.

Shiv : Why you all looking at me like this? Yeah I lost it and thank god it was in my cupboard, I found it yesterday. So.... yeah.

Gowry : Bhaiyaa, may I have a look? Its looking very familiar.

Shiv : Err... mmm gowry, act.. actually as rudra said this is my lucky ring and I got it back after so long, so I don't want to take it off now. Maybe some other day. Okay?

Om : Wowww Shivaay! Since when you became so sensitive towards such things uh? Good change I must say

Shiv : Eh, one second, since when means? You guys know right how precious is this ring to me?

Om : Of course we do, but you seems so relaxed when you said you lost the ring back then. There is no any worries on your face.

Shiv : Hurrmm.. yeah whatever, I'm done with my breakfast. So Bye.

Indeed Omkara was right. He never lost the ring, he dump it somewhere inside his cupboard. Because that time he was angry on Anika and take it off so that her memories won't hunt him. When Omru enquire about the ring, he told them he lost it ever so casually. So, of course they will grow suspicious.

Shivaay was driving his car to Oberoi Mansion. Some file checkings and meetings were done. Shivaay was little free now. His mind divert to Anika. The same question keep on echoing in his mind again and again. How is he going to confront Anika? No idea is getting into his mind. It seems more difficult than cracking a deal, he thought. A good planning and detailed presentation will do it easily. But never he felt so nervous and out of idea like this before. This is a deal too. A lifetime deal to be crack. If he succeeded, he will be the most happiest man alive. He will get someone to cherish, to treasure, to love all the life. If he fail, he might loose everything and will only get sorrow and emptiness in return.

Taking his phone, Shivaay dialled Reena's number. Maybe she can help him in someway. But Reena nodded in No. She don't want to hurt Anika again. He should seek her forgiveness all alone without anyone's help. Same as how he believed that fake video and assume things all alone. After work, Shivaay ask khanna to drive to Anika's office. He very well know how she gonna treat him and he is ready for that. He can meet her in her house if he want, but don't want to create scene unnecessarily. So her office would be better. For his disappointment, Anika was not there. He was informed that Anika went to meet some suppliers. He decided to wait for her, so Bhavya lead him to Anika's cabin. Normally everyone will be seated in waiting hall, since Shivaay is not any common person and also Anika's family now, he request to wait in Anika's cabin.

He once again fell proud on Anika. First the company based on women powers. Second, the way she planned her office and furniture selection, all was simply marvelous. Perfect enough to attract all the clients that walk in and it set well with current trends. Shivaay walk around in her cabin. He also never fail to notice the staffs flirting over him and he smirks. There he saw her family photos hanging. One with her parents and other with her dad, buamma, phupa, gowry and sahil. Shivaay lightly cares her face in the photo. Anika also placed a small photo of her parents on her table. The room filled with her fragrant, the same scent she used back then. He took a deep breathe as if feeling her. He waited for her while thinking some of their good old memories. Shivaay forgot to notice the time until Bhavya came in and inform him that Anika will take more time to return. That's when he realised he was waiting for a whole 2 hours and 40 minutes. Never he waited for someone in his life this long but vise versa. But today he waited for her, almost 3 hours and he still haven't meet her. Sighing sadly, he drove back to home.

It was raining heavily. Shivaay lean on back seat and closed his eyes. His sleep was broken by khanna's sudden brake. Shivaay opened his eyes wide due to the tyre screeching sound.

Khanna : Sir... Anika madam.

Khanna told him. There was a car infront them indicating double signal. It was turned out to be Anika's car. But how khanna figure out it as her's, Shivaay wonder. Since khanna get to know that there is something brewing between his boss and Anika madam, he gathered some basic information about Anika. Shivaay felt proud on Khanna as well. They notice that Anika's car tyre was punctured. Driving beside her car, they notice Anika is not inside. Tension grew on Shivaay. Both of them get out and started to search for Anika. And there she came all drench in rain, she was searching for a mechanic shop. Khanna request anika to come with them but seeing Shivaay, she refused. Then Shivaay approached her not before eyeing khanna to leave. The trio is now fully drenched in rain.

Shiv : Anika don't be so adamant, it is so dark here and it's very dangerous for a girl to stay all alone. Let me drop you.

Ani : Not more dangerous than you Mr Oberoi. I don't need your help neither your concern. (She snapped back)

Shiv : Anika I'm sorry, I shouldn't acted that way. I'm really guilty for it. I'm sorry Anika, I didn't know what went through my mind and I acted so stupidly. I stoop so low. I felt ashamed on myself. I..

Ani : Wow you realised. Great Mr Shivaay Singh Oberoi... Great (Sarcastic way)

Shiv : Anika I know you're very much in hurt on my behavior that day. And I know my sorry can never do anything to heal your wounds. But now please don't be adamant and come with me. It's getting late and there is no any streetlight here. This rain only making it worst, anything can happen Anika. It's not safe for you. Come with me.

Ani : follow you? So that you can complete your leftover work that day? I'm more safe here alone than coming with you. You don't have to fake your concern.

Shiv : You can punish me however you want. You wanna file case against me, do it. I'll never stop you but please come with me now. See you're shivering Anika. Just get into my car

Ani : I told you don't fake concern me. What? you sure I can complaint against you? I very well know your game plan. It will be only backfires to me and will deceive my business. You know what? I feel so disgusted under your gaze. Just leave. (She yelled)

Shiv : It's not safe for you.

Anika : I know how to protect myself. If you forgot I saved myself from a monster like you.

Shiv : If I'm your problem, you can follow khanna I won't come with you. It's getting late Anika, Radha aunty might be worrying for you.

Ani : FINE.

Then Anika started to walk towards Shivaay's car. But for his shock, she walk pass his car crossing to the next road. She decided to walk to her home apparently. This is more difficult than he thought. She'll rather die than giving up her self respect. Anika vow to not face him anymore, but here he is offering help to her. She know he will never move from the place, so it's better for her to move away from there.  Yeah it's true that she's shivering in cold but she have to move away from his gaze. His gaze made her uneasy, so she started to march towards her home.

Shaking his head in disbelief, Shivaay started to run behind her. Well he going to do this all his life. Anika's steps became faster and faster and she started to run until her figure vanished in the dark road. Shivaay too speed up his phase and followed her. He almost hit by a motorcycle which pass by him with extreme fast. Then, he met Anika. She was lying on the road lifelessly. She was dodged down by the same motorcycle which was almost to hit Shivaay. Shivaay's heart stopped to beat watching her like that. He run to her and patted her face, but she didn't respond. Her right hand elbow and right ankle was bleeding. He slowly scooped her in his arm and run towards his car. He ordered khanna to bring Anika's car after repair and drive to Oberoi Mansion. He again carried her inside and call everyone but none came so he carried her to his room. After made her lay down on bed, Shivaay hugged her tightly. Since he know the real truth, he wanted crush her in his arm but never he thought it will happen in such way. She got hurt again and he was the reason again. Maybe he shouldn't force her to come with him, he might just wait there until the mechanic came and do his work. But he messed up everything again, there he is lying injured. Shivaay kissed Anika's forehead and went out of his room to meet others.

All Oberois went for a night out except dadi and Jhanvi. Dadi was having knee pain, so Jhanvi stayed with her. Dadi was fast asleep so, Shivaay told Jhanvi about Anika's accident and Jhanvi helped Anika to change her dress with Priyanka's dress and bandaged her injuries. Soon doctor came and inform shivaay that Anika is having light fever since Jhanvi already did Anika's dressing he just prescribed some medicines. After doctor went off, Jhanvi assured Shivaay that she will stay with Anika. Shivaay took his night suit and went to guest room mouthing a silent 'sorry'.
