Present

Shivaay wake up little too early than as usual. He couldn't sleep all night thinking of the sin he did. The fingerprint on his cheek is clearly visible and his cheek seen little swollen. Doing his morning chores as fast as he could, shivaay dashed out from his room. He decided not to have breakfast nor prepare the breakfast. He don't want to face anyone with his finger printed face. And also he is ashamed to face them after whatever happened between him and Anika last night. Ashamed for misbehaving with a girl. Shivaay requested Khanna not to follow him and drive the car himself.

The first thing he wanted to do is meet Anika. But not before applying some ice pack to his cheek. After his swollen face got better, shivaay rushed to Anika's Mumbai office. Keeping his ego and hatred aside, he should apologize her. He entered her office only to make others stand up with shock. Since Bhavya is in charge for the office, she enquire shivaay about his sudden arrival. Then, she inform him that Anika left to Delhi early morning itself. This made him more worry. What he know was, Anika will only go back after two days but she left before that and she'll never attend gowry's post wedding rituals also knowing how much she loves her sister. All she wanted is to get away from him and she did. She is hurt and the reason is shivaay.

Reaching Oberoi Mansion, he straight away walk to his room but stopped by a voice. Turning behind, he saw his family with Anika's family chatting happily. Pinky pulled him and make him sit beside her. That's when dadi noticed his cheek slightly burned. Shivaay totally forgot about it and some how he managed everyone by telling that he slept himself while hitting mosquitoes.

Rudy : But bhaiya who'll hit mosquito that hard? Until the fingerprints are seen? (Suppressing his laugh)

Shiv : Do you need some demo rudra? I can show you if you want.

Rudy : Good joke bhaiyaa. (Trying to change the topic, he turned to Radha and started to talk with her)

Rudy : A..A.. Aunty, then when anika Didi will come here again?

Radha : I don't know beta. She'll come whenever she wish.

Jhanvi : Radha ji but you told Anika will stay here forever. Then why she when back to Delhi?

Radha : Even I don't know what happened to her. She change her mind suddenly. See! Till now she didn't inform me whether she reached or not. (Sigh sadly)

Gowry : Maa, you don't take tension. Didi is sleeping now, I just talked with Gulab Maasi.

While everyone talking, Shivaay's mind diverted to Anika. So apparently, Anika decided to stay back with her family but then drop her idea. Shivaay know why she did that. It's because of him and his stupid act. He thought to meet Anika in Delhi.

Shiv : Umm.. Dad! Ummm it's been a while we visited our Delhi branch. So I'm planning to have a visit.

Sha : Oh yeah shivaay, thank god you remind me. You don't have to worry son, I'm going there the day after tomorrow.

Shiv : It's okay dad. You don't have to strain yourself. I'll go.

Tej : No shivaay, shakti will go there. You and me have to go to Dubai tomorrow. We have to meet some shareholders regarding Gupta project for their contracts approvals.

Sha : Yes Shivaay, your follow bade papa,  I'll take care Delhi office.

A defeated Shivaay sigh sadly. The more the time pass, the more the guilt increases. He have to follow his bade papa to Dubai. That too a two weeks business trip. This will only increase his guilt more. There is no way to escape from his bade papa too. Now he have to wait for two weeks to seek her forgiveness. Tomorrow early morning is his flight, so Shivaay had dinner with his family and spend some quality time with them.

It was almost 1 at night. Shivaay had some good time with Omkara and rudra. He was upset but he don't want to make his brothers sad too, so his faked his smile to make them happy. While going back to his room, he saw dadi's room light was on. He know he can't sleep no matter how much he try, so he thought to talk with dadi for sometime. Maybe he will feel better.

Knocking the door, shivaay went inside and sit beside dadi on the bed. She was reading a book, seeing Shivaay approach to her she closed the book and looks at him.

Shiv : Dadi haven't you sleep yet?

Dadi : Sleep is far away Billu but why you haven't sleep tomorrow you have flight ryt?

Shiv : Hmmmm.. Same as you dadi, I couldn't sleep.

Dadi patted on her lap indicating Shivaay to lay down on her lap. Shivaay too place her head on her lap and dadi started ruffle his hair lovingly. From the look of her grandson, she know something is bothering him.

Dadi : Billu is there anything disturbing you?

Shiv : Dadi how..I mean why you ask like that?

Dadi : I know my Billu well than others. Tell me what's that? It's not good to keep everything to yourself.

Slowly Shivaay get up from her lap and hold her both hands.

Shiv : Dadi.. Will you forgive me if I did something wrong?

Dadi : Wrong?

Shiv : Yes dadi wrong. A terrible wrong. No no I made a sin dadi. I couldn't forgive myself for it dadi.

Dadi : Billu.. What if I ask what you exactly did? Is that such a big problem until you call it a sin?

Shiv : (nodded his head sadly) but dadi I didn't meant to do it, it was just the heat of the moment. I couldn't control my anger that time. But I hurt her..the person way too much.

Dadi : It's good you realise Billu. Just go and ask he/her a sorry. A genuine one. They will forgive you.

Shiv : No dadi, I know the person will never forgive me. She don't even want to face me.

Dadi : Don't assume things Billu. Everyone deserve forgiveness. If genuinely feel sorry for it, then you will be forgiven. They might angry with you but you should be patience. Accept their anger because it's you who caused them to act that way.

Shivaay nodded lightly and kissed her hand and left her room. Indeed dadi was correct. He should bare all her anger because it's him who at fault. Climbing on the bed he hope this business trip to end as soon as possible so that he can meet Anika.

After Shivaay left, dadi continued her reading. She didn't miss the part where Shivaay blurted out 'SHE', so she knows it was a girl. But who is that girl and what did her Billu did to the girl, she has no idea. She only hope that it won't create more problem to him and the girl to forgive him soon.

Shivaay and Tej with other shareholders are seated in a huge oval shaped table. Presenting Gupta's Industries, Reena too attend the trip. While Reena present her slides, shivaay explained the projects estimated budget, prons and cons and number of shares. Soon, everyone was satisfied with the project and Mr Fahmi the project head, signed the contract. They have to wait for the second head's approval too. Since the second head out of country, Shivaay, Tej and Reena decided to check the qualities of the goods and other contract related things. They planned to use Dubai imported materials for their project as promised to the shareholders. Tej too introduce Reena to Shivaay. Mr Gupta health is not good to travel overseas so Reena took the responsibility. In their trip, Reena realised that it was Shivaay, Anika's ex boyfriend. Anika didn't mention him as Shivaay Singh Oberoi but Reena know him very well. After what she did to Anika, Reena decided to help her and thus find out that it was Shivaay whom Anika dated.

This is her golden opportunity, to repent her mistake. May be she can get rid out her guilt. At least she can try to talk with Shivaay regarding the past matters. Will Shivaay listen or believe her? What if he cancel the dealing with Gupta Industries? But there is no harm in trying. She just wanted to get out from the guilt, she doesn't care about the project anymore. Her confession might change the life of two wounded souls which is more worth than her project. She also cursed herself for not thinking about this before. It's already late, she should have done this as soon she get to know about Shivaay. But she don't know why this idea didn't pop up then. She grateful that at least now she got an opportunity to fix everything in right way. Now she just need some alone time with Shivaay to talk about Anika, because Shivaay always surrounded by people, it's either business partners or Tej Singh Oberoi.

Delhi

Anika is sleeping in her house. In her parents room. Whenever she get sad or vulnerable, she'll always spend her day in her parents room as if they are giving her strength to fight back. It will always sooth her pain. Gulab Maasi was so worried about Anika. Since she back from Mumbai she hardly eat anything and will always lock herself in that room. She never talked with Gulab Maasi apart from her good morning and good night greetings. Knocking the door, Gulab Maasi entered the room with a plate of chappati. She can clearly understand that the girl sitting in front of her is way too wounded. She look so vulnerable and dried tears mark were seen yet she don't want to show this side of hers to anyone. Being her caretaker since schooling time, Gulab Maasi knows about Anika well. While Gowry is close with Radha buamma, Anika close with Gulab Maasi.

Then she forcefully made her eat the chappatis and gave her a glass of almond milk. Milk always do wonders to Anika. It will make her sleepy. Then, Gulab Maasi went out leaving Anika to sleep. She was so hurt. Way too much and there is no healing for her wounds. Is this what she deserve?, she wonder. No matter how much she hate him but she always believe that there is still some love sticking hiding in her for him. She still believe it even after the shameful thing he did to her in the past. But whatever he did that night is unforgivable nor forgettable. He crossed all the limits and the little live too vanished. More than love, she always respect him. His kind man-ly gesture is what she falls for him. Shivaay always give priorities to her comfort back then while they are dating. While they go for a date, hugging, kissing, cuddling or any other thing, it's always her comfort comes first. If he find her little uncomfortable, then he'll drop the idea. He was a true gentle man. But the way he behaved that day was totally opposite to his character. Where does that shivaay go? Where does that kind and caring shivaay go? What if this is his real character?, and was he faking it in college days? She wonder again. She totally regretting on her choice for being in relationship with him. This is not how a true gentle man treat a woman no matter who is she. Now the last person she wish to see is him. Not even the last person, she just wish not to see him again. Shivaay is not exist for Anika anymore. Slowly slowly Anika falls asleep.

Dubai

After few days, the second head Mr Mirza arrived and signed the contract too. Mr Fahmi and Mirza are brothers. As they are so happy with the project, in a way to celebrate their new dealing they invite all the business associates involved in Gupta project for a lunch party in their house. Shivaay and Tej too invited and since Reena too stays in the same hotel with Oberois, she clinge into them. All this while Meera and Shivaay has become quite good friends.

Shivaay was enjoying Dubai's famous karak chai. Luckily he was alone and Reena make moves towards him. Whenever she initiate to talk with shivaay it's always someone will spoil it. Hoping for the best, she sat beside him. Giving her a warm smile, shivaay serve her a cup of chai too . Reena nervously started her conversation.

Re : Umm..then Shivaay what's next?

Shiv : Next? It's just your Grandpa's project. What else.

Re : This Chai is too good right?

Shiv : Yeah but frankly speaking I never knew Mr Gupta has a grand daughter. I thought he's all alone in business because I didn't meet you in annual dinner also.

Re : Owh that... Since my grandad cannot travel overseas I'm responsible for it. On annual dinner time I was here in Dubai I think. That's why I couldn't join.

Shiv : That's great you responsible business woman.

Re : Maybe I'm responsible now but before this I was just a spoilt irresponsible kid. It's him my grandad who helped me to overcome all my bad addictions. So now I'm just making him happy helping in business. I hope he is happy.

Shiv : of course he should, you are doing great.

Re : There is someone who indirectly helped me too. Actually only because of her I realized that I was doing wrong. Do you want to know who is that?

Shiv : If you're ready to tell

Re : Actually Shivaay I was waiting to tell you this since so long. But really i don't know what was stopping me and now I got the chance and I don't want to miss it.

Shiv : is that something serious?

Re : Yes very. If you don't mind can we go back to our hotel so that no one will disturb us.

Shiv : I think this place is much better. Are you okay here?

Re : Yeah, thank you. Listen Shivaay I wanted tell you something about someone who you literally didn't appreciate and in return you just gave her pain.

Shiv : Me? It's about me? (Confused)

Re : Not about you but ANIKA. Whatever you did to her is totally wrong Shivaay. How could you do that?

Shivaay was terrified, does she know about his stupid act to Anika. Is she and Anika friends?

Re : I surely know that you know Anika and I know that you both was in relationship last time. But Shivaay just tell me one thing that why you didn't pick up her call? If you pick it up once, this problem will never drag till today.

Shiv : Anika's call? W..h..at are you saying? I'm not understanding anything.

Re : After you disowned her in middle of the road. She still call you ryt. She tried so many times but you was so adamant for not picking up the phone.

Shiv : Owh you mean that I should entertain her call. After all whatever she did to me on my back you think I'll look back at her. I vow to not face her anymore and left to England and now you're asking me why I didn't pick up her call. Owh no, you know what I don't know any Anika and please excuse me. (Standing up to leave)

Re : This is your problem Shivaay, you have no patience at all. Just listen to me once please. After that the decision is yours. (Grabbed wrist and made him to sit)

Shiv : Make it quick. I have no time for nonsense.

Re : Actually I'm the one who deserve this anger and not her. She just deserve love and respect. Simple, will you ever forgive someone who literally snatch your everything? Like everything, peace, love, family and what not?

Shiv : Forgive? I'll never think twice to kill him.

Re : But she did. Anika did forgive me Shivaay, never ever she got angry on me and besides she made me her friend. This is what made me feel more guilty. I made her life upside down. I made her peaceful life to a miserable one. You believe? When I told her it's me who did all the mess, she just smiled and told me "as long as you realise your mistake, I'm happy". Can someone be so good like her?

Shiv : If you done your praising, can I leave?

Re : You have work on patience Shivaay. I told you before all his hatred is belongs to me not Anika. Listen first, keep your anger aside. I beg you just listen to me calmly. I don't know whether you going to believe me or not but what I'm going tell you is the real Truth.

Shiv : I think you're getting emotional

Re : No. I'm so happy today and also stop assuming things. I'm happy that finally i could do my part. Maybe I can reunite two wonder souls. Maybe I can give her happiness back or at least I can clear her fake accusation. You know what it's all started from? your stupid assuming. You assume everything and take your own decision. Never you tried to talk with her or never you let her to speak...

Shiv : Wait... Is was she who clearly admit herself that she did that.

Re : There was a 'but' and you have no patience to listen to her 'but'. If you only let her to talk, probably now you both might happily married. You left her in the middle of road alone to faint. But still she didn't give up and keep on calling you. She needed you the most that time but you just left her breaking her more. Ask me, I'll tell you the Truth, the real truth and not your assuming shit. It was me Shivaay. Forgive me but it was me who did all the sin. I'm the reason for your hatred and her painful life. I can't carry this guilty burden anymore. I wanted a peaceful sleep without any guilt or burden and I'm very sure tonight I'll have the best sleep. I'm also sure that you can't sleep peacefully like before because I'm just going to shift all my burden to you. And I'm sorry in advance.

Reena started to narrate everything to Shivaay. What she don't know is that Shivaay already in a guilt and this revelation only made him more worst.
