Enid's POV

I asked Carl about what he wanted before the apocalypse, and he said "I wanted a wife and kids to care for. To bad that won't happen.." And I just looked at him, confused. "Well, I'm gonna go to bed. Night Carl. Night babe." Ron said after yawning "bye." We both said. After Ron left, I could talk to Carl. "But, Really? Is that all you wanted in life?" I asked. "Yeah.." he sighed. "What's the matter?" I asked and he looked over at me and then down at the floor. "My crush was bit in the beginning. She was my best friend. I wanted her to be my girlfriend. Then... she died..." He said sadly. I hugged him and said "I'm so sorry..." he hugged back. And I was surprised. I didn't think he would.. I looked up at him "your eyes are really pretty." I said before laughing from awkwardness. "Gee thanks, Enid." He chuckled "Call me E. It'll be your nickname for me. Only yours." I said smiling. "Guess you could call me C." He said in a jokingly flirty tone, and we laughed. "Hey you want to come over? I'll introduce you to the rest of us!" He said. "Haha! Sure!" I said giggling.

Carl's POV

Oh my god. She said yes. I brought her over, and opened the door, she was getting all shy. We walked inside. "Hey guys! This is Enid!" I said to them. . I take her to the kitchen, and say "what's wrong?" "I..I have trouble meeting new people..." she says. "It's okay! They don't bite.well, not yet." I said trying to make her laugh, and it worked, she laughed a bit. "Let's go meet them?" I asked "as long as your with me. I trust you" she smiled. "This is Enid, Incase you didn't catch me the first time." I said smiling "hi, I'm Maggie!" "Hey! Im Glenn." Then dad and Michonne come over. "Hello, Enid. I am Michonne." She says in a kind tone "I am Rick. It's a pleasure to meet you, Enid." Dad says. "Hi." Enid says quietly " do you want to come up to my room? I'm sure no one will mind." I say. "S-sure" she says. So, I take her hand and lead her through everyone. I sit and pat my bed, signaling for her to sit. "E, I've got to tell you something..." I say awkwardly "yes?" She says normally. "I..I don't know how to say this." "But I like you." I say blushing.

Enid's POV
"I...I don't know what to say... But I need to talk to you.." I say. "Yeah? What's up?" He says. I just sighed and I lifted up my sleeve to reveal it.
