Enid's POV

Some people came out of an RV today. There was one man, with a big gray beard, a few other people, and this one boy who caught my eye: He had longish brown hair, and icy blue eyes. He seemed around my age. I went onto the guard tower and asked Spencer, "who are they?" "I'm not sure kid." He responded. "I'm going over to Ron's. I'll cya!" So I climb down and walk over to his house. I knock and Sam answers "hey Enid!" He says quite exited. "Hey little buddy! Is Ron home?" I ask "no, he's not. But Mikey's in his room waiting. You can go and wait for him if you want?" He responds "thanks, Sam." I say walking past him and up the stairs to his house, then going to his room "hey."I say "oh hey Enid!" He says walking over. "Can you pass me a book please?" I ask "yeah." He says before handing me one. "Thanks." I say before sitting on Ron's bed and reading the book... until Ron walked in, with that guy from earlier.

Carl's POV
After arriving, Ron asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and his friends. So, we walk in and I see this boy, shortish brown hair, and brown eyes. "This, is Mikey" Ron said "Hey dude!" Mikey said "And this, is my girlfriend, Enid." Ron continued. Wow I thought to myself, she's beautiful. Her long brown hair perfectly complemented her brown eyes! I feel so jealous. Why should I care? I don't know her. She seems so mysterious. But she looked so amazing reading that book. Wow. I don't know what to say. I manage to awkwardly say "what are you reading?" "I dunno. Some book called 'Cujo' it's pretty cool actually."She says looking at me and smiling. I smile back. "Well. Why not show you around some more? Enid, want to come?" Ron said "Sure" Enid replied happily.
