Enid's POV

I pull away, and laugh slightly. He looks down at me, his blue eye pierces mine. It sent a chill down my spine. "Judith..." I say under my breath.  "What about her?!" Carl asks. "What about her? Is there baby food? I ask. "Yes."
"Let's get her. Please. Isn't it time for the saviors to collect our stuff?" I sigh.  "We need to protect her." I say. He nods. "Stay. I'll get her." I smile, then turn to run, but he grabs my wrist, "be careful, please." He says. I nod. Then I sprint to Alexandria. And over the walls.  "Where's Judith?" I ask rick. "In the house why?" He responds. "The saviors, they are due. Carl and I found a place. I want to take her there. She is the future of this world. She needs to be as safe as possible." I say quickly. He looks at me and smiles. "I trust you, Enid." He says. I run to grab Judith, and run back. Rick opens the gate. And i sprint out. She presses her face on my chest, cooing. I get there and yell for Carl. He opens the small gate. And takes Judy from me, I walk inside and close the gate behind me. I smile. Seeing the two playing together inside is just adorable. I chuckle a bit, walk inside the house and try to walk to the kitchen, but am stopped by  someone grabbing onto my leg screeching "ENII!" I pick Judith up, and throw her above my head, as she giggles wildly. I sit down, with Judith in my arms, I feel it's best if she has a bottle, and sleeps. "Could you make her a bottle please Carl?" I ask him. He agrees and gets up to get a bottle. He hands me the bottle, and I feed Judith.
~five minutes later~
I finish feeding Judith, and I gently rock her until she slowly falls asleep. I walk upstairs, and put her in her crib, placing a stuffed donkey on her chest. I walk back downstairs, and sit on the couch next to Carl. "Do you want to watch a movie?" I ask "if you want." He says fidgeting. "What's wrong?" I ask concerned. "There's a horde coming... its bigger then anything I've seen..." Carl says, scared. "Wh-How? H-how do you know...?" I asked "I snuck out to the highway. A few days ago. When I said I went on a supply run." Carl says, a guilty look in his eye. My eyes widen. I start to worry. "But Judith..?" I say "what happens if she gets hurt... I'll never forgive myself. And if you get hurt... I.. I don't know what I'd do.... I wouldn't be able to live with that." I frown "we'll be okay..." I hear Carl whisper. I hug him. Tightly. And me him sit in each other's embrace. For what felt like forever. "what movie do you want to watch?"I whisper in his ear, then laugh a bit. As does he. "I dunno. Pick one." He says smiling.

Carl's POV

"No. You pick a movie." Enid says "fine drama queen." I say sarcastically. So I get up and look through the movies, and find one. "Is 'the exorcist' okay, E?" And she nods. "I'll go make popcorn." She says walking over to the kitchen, rummaging through several cabinet. When she finally finds it, she cooks it.
~Later~
"ACK! WHAT IS THAT THING?!" Enid screams. "shhhhh. You'll wake up Judith." I laugh, shutting off the TV. I hug her to calm her down. After probably five minutes, she fell asleep. I'm sorry Enid. I know that your scared. How don't you cry? Damn, your adorable. I'm going back to Alexandria. I write a note it reads: hey Enid, I'm going back to Alexandria for a day or two, please stay here with Judith. Don't worry, There's a walkie on the bedside table, I have one as well. Stay safe baby. I love you both. ~ Carl

Enid's POV

My eyes slowly open. I rub the sleepyness from my eyes. Until I see a sheet of paper that has my name on it. I read it. "not again." I say under my breath. "WAAAAAH!!! I WA ENII!!" Judith wails, I sigh and walk up the stairs to the nursery. And I pick up Judy. I bring her to the couch, make her a bottle and put on Finding Nemo, which she really enjoyed. I smile, and tickle her. She giggles wildly. I stop because someone is aggressively pounding at the door. I spring upstairs with Judith in my arms. And I put her in her crib. I throw a few toys in there with her. And I sprint downstairs closing the door behind me. I open the door to...Carl? He runs inside, and grabs a bunch of guns. I close the door. "...C-Carl..? What's w-wrong? Your scaring me..." I say, inturupted by another bang on the door. I open it, and my jaw drops....
