I think it was about a month ago a girl asked me to comment, follow, vote, and all that jazz people do on a story she wrote. And that's fine. I like to check things out because this is Wattpad. That's what you do. But... I didn't want to follow. I didn't even vote because I didn't even want to vote. The first chapter of her story started with a description and a very long author's note...

Therefore, I thought, "Okay... Where's the story?" I quickly moved onto the next chapter, and that is where the story began.... except it wasn't the actual story either. It was one page with half of it discribing the character's thoughts and feelings with bad grammar and really bad run-on sentences... And the other half was another really long author's note.

First off, I'm not really intertested in this story. ...It's kind of cliche. This author's note is wayyy longer than it should be. There is more of the author's note than there is a story. She could stop using commas here, here, and here. And the first sentence of the third paragraph doesn't make sense... because of all the commas. She could stop using commas...

It went on. There was so much that I could have commented about it and I wouldn't fit it in the two thousand character limit. I chose what I would talk about and what I would explain, and then I commented.

...less than an hour later I get one of her fans replying that I am the most horrible person in the world.

I stopped and raised a brow. "Wait... Why are your panties in a bunch?"

She basically said that I was a low-life who had nothing better to do, that the way the author wrote was amazingand down to earth. And that she didn't deserve any sort of feedback I gave her.

But... the author said that any form of feedback would be nice...

She went on to say that the author was better than me because the author had more followers, (She does it's triple mine.) and that I was lousy because all I wrote was fanfiction.

THAT! Pause there. THAT was what drew the line for me.

I began laughing as I thought about THAT. Sure I don't have the reads nor the votes to prove that my stories are descent, but THAT statement was wrong. Just because a story is a fanfic does not mean that it is no good. I promise.

But back to the line. When I read that story... I wasn't interested (it was not the author's story idea. I'm just not into those kinda of stories), but I wanted to help the author in some way. So I commented on the only thing that caught my attention... the really bad grammar, placing commas where there needs to be periods is not cool. It's also uncool to place no period where it should be.

:( and I got called a jerk for that...

Guess I won't be giving feedback to some people for a while. *raised brows*
