There are people in my class who get like, the tiniest project to do over the holidays and they're like, "BUT HOLIDAYS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FOR RELAXIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGG".

I feel like that's what annoys me about holiday homework the most. People who don't get it usually act like it's the FUCKING END OF THE WORLD when they do. Suck it up, bitch. Welcome to high school.

But I have to agree, I too hate it when I get so much homework.  I get that people have a shit-ton more work than I do, especially my fellow tuition goers, but c'mon man!! Do you seriously have to give me TEN different essays to complete over a two-week period?! I have even MORE stuff to do too.

I'm gonna tell you tems about how I'm a horrible procrastinator.

This one time I was visiting my motherland (like where my background is from) and I had two booklets (at least ten pages thick EACH) of English and Maths homework to do. Lemme tell you, I ATTEMPTED  that homework, I really did, but a trip to a completely different country with so many stray cats and dogs running around got me distracted af.

So naturally, I did not do the homework.

When I showed back up to that tuition place, I was scolded for not doing it. Like??? I'm sorry I went on holidays, as you do WHEN YOU'RE ON HOLIDAYS. Needless to say, that built up to my current week's homework and I ended up having to do DOUBLE the amount of work. Fun. So much fucking fun.

I've sort of learned from that experience (it was a couple of years ago) but dang it, I still hate the amount of work I get. It might sound hypocritical, but the people in my class probably only get a small fraction of the homework I get.

I don't think holiday homework should be a thing. Honestly, just let us be dumb for a couple of weeks.
