To Italy!

"Ok Weedle! You're part of my team now! We'll train super extra hard!" Peter cheered at his small team, "First, we'll go back into the tall grass, and practice fighting a wild Pokemon!"

"Weedle!" The Weedle agreed.

"Wingull." The Wingull flew upwards, hovering a bit above Peter's head.

"Ok." Peter whispered, seeing a Buneary scampering about in the grasses, "Let's attack it. We don't need to knock it out, but we can train!"

"Wingull! Water pulse!" Peter pointed at the Buneary, and Wingull formed the circular water sphere, launching it at the rabbit, while not very affective, stunned it a bit.

"Buneary!" It yelped, and jumped at Wingull with a pound, which the bird moved upwards, barely escaping the attack.

"Use water gun!" Wingull shot a torrent of water at the Buneary.

"Buneary! Buneary? Where are you?" A female voice rang out, "God darn it! I hope you didn't get lost, or something again!"

"Buneary!" The bunny leaped out of the way, missing the water gun, letting the stream carry forward, blasting the girl emerging from the bushes head-on.

"You're ok!" She hugged her Pokemon, still soaking wet, before turning on Peter and Wingull.

"Who do you think you are?! You can't just shoot people with water you know!" Wendy hissed, before noticing the ruffled up fur on Buneary, "You tried to attack her?! She's not even a wild Pokemon! Even a idiot like you should be able to tell Buneary aren't from the Europe region!"

"Aa! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Peter grinned sheepishly, "I was trying to train, and do a bit of grinding, y'know, that stuff."

"You still didn't have to attack my Buneary!" Wendy still looked agitated, "Go do your useless grinding on a tree or something."

"I said sorry!" Peter shook his head, shaking his floppy blond hair out of his eyes, and stuck out a hand, "I'm Peter Kirkland, from Sealand!"

"Wendy. Wendy Kirkland. I'm from Australia, the Oceania region." She twitched her eye, "And where the heck is Sealand?"

"Sealand's a city! It's near England!" Peter thought over her words, "You're last name is Kirkland too!"

"I say you're related to Arthur... Same face, eye structure, eyebrows..."

"Yeah! Wait! You have the eyebrows too!" Peter grinned, "Mr. Caterpillar-Eyebrows is my older brother!"

"Ah, he's my dad's older brother too, so you guys related huh?" Wendy traced out the family tree roughly into the air.

"Yeah! So Jet's your dad? Artie said he left to go manage a gym in the Oceania region!"

"He did, guess we finally meet."

"Heh."

"Setting that aside..." Wendy pointed at the sky, thick, dark, storm clouds coated the entire landscape, closing in fast.

"Bloody Hell!" Peter exclaimed, "We have to find somewhere to stay!"

Both of them ran, finding a good-enough spot underneath a large tree.

~~~
"Hmm?" Peter awoke to the sunny sky, and the chirping of birds. His hair was soggy, and so were his clothes, dirt stains on the back of his white shirt, and all over his legs. He was sprawled out, head resting on a root, and arms and legs extended.
"Hey! Wendy! Wake up!" Peter shook the girl sleeping next to him. She looked like she had a calmer sleep than him, actually staying the spot she fell asleep in, dropped up against the tree trunk, legs extended and folded, hands at sides. Even her hair seemed fine.
"Huh?" She rubbed her eyes, standing up, "Eek! My dress is dirty!"
"We can wash it." He giggled at her antics, doing it like a man, of course.
"I don't even have clothes, I'll have to make a run to the store or something." Wendy looked disgusted at the fact of going out in public with the attire she was currently dawning.
"You can borrow some of my spares!" Peter grinned, "Tino did pack extra! That may or may not be pink."
5 minutes later Peter was wearing clean clothes, same with Wendy. Their old clothes were handing up on a clothesline over the lake they washed them in.
Wendy dragged Peter to the market, "We're getting food too."
"Since when was I traveling with you...?" He groaned.
"Since I said so young, naive, child."
"Ugh..." Peter was dragged around by his technically-niece.
"Clothes. Check! Water. Check! Food. Check! Pokefood. Check!" Wendy checked off everything on the list.
"Can you walk slower..." Peter was ignored as Wendy started back towards their little hideout thing in the forest.
"No." She started unpacking, taking out her clothes as Peter stared.
"Oi! Stop staring you idiot!" Wendy flushed, mad, as she went behind a tree to change into the new clothes.
"Hehe!" He grinned, and went to the other side of the tree, and started taking their clothes off the clothesline.
~~~

"Where do we go now. I don't have any plans or anything." Wendy sighed. Their Pokemon frolicked in the sunny meadow.

"I was thinking on heading over to Italy! I heard it's a normal type gym!" Peter exclaimed, "I think we're strong enough."

Peter's Wingull and Kakuna showed some sign of agreement.

Wendy sighed, "I don't know what to do."

"You could do showcases! Or maybe contests!" He suggested, "Your Pokemon perform well, and you're a good dancer yourself, I can infer!"

"Well... The thing is..."

"What! Tell me!"

"Last year... I went to showcases..." She paused, "I made it all the way to the last round of the Master League performances, and I got to go against Serena. But I didn't make it."

"Why?"

"Stupid Mistake."

They left it at that.

A few days later, they were off again. From where they were, the trip to Italy would be a couple days, with good weather.

"We've been training hard! Right?" Peter asked his Pokemon, determination shinning in his eyes.

"Wingull!" "Kakuna!"

"Let's stop and train again!" Peter grinned, and Wendy groaned.

"Kakuna! Harden!" The all-familiar shiny coat appeared around Kakuna.

"Ok! Wingull! Use Water Pulse!" The seagull shot the orb of water at Kakuna, which was able to resist the attack.

"Keep going Kakuna!" "Wingull! Water gun!"

The afternoon continued, Wingull's attacks becoming stronger and stronger, as Kakuna gained more resistance to them.

Wingull was staying calm, as Kakuna seemed to be taunting it.

"Wingull, W-" Wingull cut off its trainer by going into its "fury mode"

"Wingull!" It screeched, and a blue outline appeared, the bird sped towards Kakuna with blinding speed, knocking it back a few meters.

"Woah! Was that quick attack?" Peter asked, amazed.

"Wingull." The bird was proud.

"Kakuna." Both of the conversing trainer and Pokemon turned to see that it still wasn't knocked out.

"That Harden's getting more protective!" Peter grinned, which the Kakuna responded with a bright, flashing, light.

The blue streams of light rang around Kakuna in the loveliest dance, and the blue silhouette of the cocoon expanding, and as soon as it started, it was over.

"Well that escalated quickly." Wendy was sitting on the ground, calmly making a flower crown, while watching the battle.

"Wow!" Peter held up the Pokedex right in front of the evolved Kakuna, "It looks like a bee!"

"No duh." Sighed Wendy.

"Beedrill, the Poison Bee Pokemon, a Bug and Poison type, stay far away from a Beedrill nest. These territorial Pokemon will swarm any intruder in a furious attack." The Pokedex responded.

"A Beedrill?" Peter grinned at the large bee, which was testing out its ability to fly.

"Wingull." Wingull huffed. It wasn't the biggest Pokemon on the team... And the team was very small.

"Butterfree?" Wendy's Butterfree wandered up to Beedrill.

"Beedrill!" It flew upwards in happiness.

"I ship it." Wendy grinned. She had a evil look on her face, known to us as the "Crazy Fangirl Look".

"Uh... Ok." Peter didn't understand, but he didn't really care.

"Beedrill!" It flew over to Peter, and poked him.

"You're right!" Peter's eyes lit up,  "We have to keep moving!"

"When will you ever make up your mind..." Wendy groaned, returning her Pokemon to their Pokeballs, and followed after Peter.
