3rd POV: the justice league are responding to a call about a hospital being set on fire. Batman, wonder woman, black canary, red tornado and green arrow decided to go in and snuff the fire and get civilians to safety. Red tornado used his wind powers to blow away the fires, canary and arrow go together into the burning building and carry out the endangered people, wonderwoman does so as well by removing debris and flying them out of there and batman directs the team to where they need to go. It doesn't take long for them to resolve the issue and group up and speak about what had happened, while the citizens were cheering for the heroes.

Green arrow: what do you think cause this fire? I wanna say it's possibly someone from our rogues gallery but I'm not really sure now.

Batman: apparently a gas pipe broke and somehow caught fire which led to an explosion. What I don't understand is how did the pipe break and catch fire?

Black canary: (shrugs) who knows?

Red tornado looks at the burned down hospital and runs a scan before seeing the elevator shaft going further down than it should.

Red tornado: it would appear there was more to the fire than we realised.

Black canary: found something?

Red tornado: the elevator shaft goes further underground.

Batman: how many floors?

Red tornado: 40 floors.

The team head to the elevator shaft with wonder woman opening the doors. The team look down and see how far it goes. Red tornado and wonder woman float down while batman and green arrow repelled down with said archer assisting canary with her way down. The team eventually make it to the final floor and open it before entering and seeing a dimmed hallway. The group of 5 walk down it, while being cautious in case there's an attack however, they weren't expecting to see dead bodies of what looked like security and scientists. Batman walked up to the bodies and began examining.

Batman: all these bodies have 3 slash marks on them, (touches blood and rubs it) still fresh, this was recent.

Green arrow: think the murderer escaped and caused the fire?

Red tornado: unlikely, (looks at elevator doors) the doors don't have signs of any forced exit and there are no fingerprints.

Wonder woman: which means the killer is still in here (pulls out sword).

Green arrow gets his bow and readies an arrow as the rest are on high alert, as they go further down the hallway, they see more dead bodies with same type of slash marks with said slash marks appearing on walls and doors. They eventually make it to a vault like door which batman hacks into and opens it. Once it fully opens they see a huge room with a tub of water in it, inside the tub are straps which showed signs of being torn off, the rest of the room had pipes on the walls, multiple monitors and of course, more dead bodies. The room that the team were currently was a viewing room that could see the entire room below. The team cautiously walk in until they're at their own set of monitors.

Wonder woman: (shocked) by hera, what could do such a thing?

Batman: we're about to find out.

Batman plugs something into the monitor before he starts typing and breaking the firewalls built in place. Once he does he accesses the security footage and rewinding it to a certain point before stopping it and hits play. The screen shows a scientist talking to a couple tv screens and explaining what is happening.

???: as you can see, the specimen is being prepped to undergo the experiment. Should the metal alloy fuse itself with the specimens body, then we'll have an all new weapon to fight for our cause.

???2: get on with it doctor, there was only very little of that metal left, your lucky that we gave you some for this experiment, should it fail and he dies well....you can assume what would happen.

???: of course. (Shuts off the screen and mutters) damn bastards, (presses on the comms) start the experiment!

The group of 5 watch as a young man who is half naked (your wearing tight shorts and the stuff in the picture above) is on a table restrained and descending into the tub of water. Needles appear from out of the ground and go into the water and standing by at certain parts of the body, the scientists start pressing buttons and the needles inject themselves into the body and injecting the liquid, the x rays show the body being coated in the liquid.

Green arrow: what the hell are they doing to him?

The body suddenly starts jerking about in the water, shocking the doctors and scientists in the room.

???: I thought I told you all to keep him unconscious!!!!

???2: we don't know what's wrong sir!

???: I don't care! Fix it!!

The team watches as the boy and the water continues to move uncontrollably in what could be described as agonizing pain, the scientists continue to try stop the boy from moving but are unable to find a way to do so, it wasn't until a couple of minutes that the body stops moving and heartbeat sensor goes still, making a very long beep. The entire room is still, angry that the experiment failed and that they have wasted the very rare metal alloy. The group is saddened.

Wonder woman: (sad) a young soul snuffed out so quickly.

Green arrow: (mutters) damn.

The lead scientist growls in frustration before the heartbeat sensor beeps once, then twice, and then goes into a rhythm. The head scientist looks up.

???: check the rest of his vitals now!

The room goes back into movement and checks everything.

???2: readings are nominal sir. The experiment was a success!!

Everyone in the room cheers while JL frown at what they were seeing, they then see a person in body armour, likely a bodyguard whisper into the head scientists ear.

Bodyguard: (whispers) what should we do now sir?

The JL listen closely.

Head scientist: (whispers) the bonding worked, now the next step is simple.

He looks up at the bodyguard

Head scientist: (whispers) we erase the rest of his memories.

The JL frowns more at what they were hearing, however batman notices something and switches the camera feed to show the boy in the water supposedly unmoving, however the JL see the slight twitching oh the boys hands.

Black canary: I think he heard them.

Head scientist: erase his memories.

The boy's eyes open wide and his hands clench, and 3 very shiny and metal claws pop out of his knuckles. The sudden movement shocks the people in the room.

Bodyguard: (whispers) I think he heard you.

The boy screams before breaking free of the straps and rises up from the water, arms stretched out and yells out a complete rage filled yell.

Boy: rrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bodyguard and the other security forces pull out their weapons and open fire on the boy, filling his body until their mags are out of ammo. The boy growls like an animal as the bullets pop out of his body and his wounds heal within second. The boy then jumps out out of the water and begins slaughtering left and right. The security then reload their weapons and attempt to neutralise him however, they only succeed in killing scientists caught in the crossfire. The boy impaled an officer in the chest before stabbing his other clawed hand through the the officers chin with the tips of the claws showing on the officers skull, he then uses the officers body as cover from more shots before dumping it and jumping at another guard and stabbing him repeatedly before turning and stabbing a scientist in the knee and stabbing him through the heart with a growl, he then looks at the head scientist and bodyguard before running to them with the mentioned 2 attempting to escape. The screen then starts to go fuzzy before shutting off completely. The JL are silent, each contemplating what they just saw, it was green arrow who broke the silence.

Green arrow: damn....where do you think the kid went? He has to be somewhere around here right?

Batman turns around to address the emerald archer but his body stiffened, something that didn't go unnoticed by the others. They then hear deep growling from behind and turn around to see the same kid holding 2 heads in both of his hands, one being the head scientist and the other is the bodyguard. The berserker drops both head before clenching his fists and the claws slowly extend from his knuckles. The JL minus black canary get into a fighting stance while said siren, puts her arms up to show she's not a threat and slowly walks up to the angry tempered teen.

Black canary: (soothing) hey, hey it's ok, we're not with them, we're the justice league, we can-

Before anything else could be said, a batarang flew past her and struck across the boys face, leaving a cut which quickly healed up. The boy roared and lunged at batman, the intent to murder clear on his face but before he could get close to him, he was grabbed by wonder woman and thrown down the hallway, where the amazon and weapon X project battled. The boy was attack ferociously against the Amazon who used her bracelets of submission to block the strikes however, she wasn't prepared for a slash to her stomach, causing her to grunt in pain and surprise, before the boy could strike her further, he was sent flying by red tornado as he created mini tornadoes to send him slamming against the elovator doors. Green arrow then fired an arrow which attaches itself to the boy which then explodes making crash through the doors, red tornado then grabbed him flew all the way up. The boy started impaling the red android in its chest, back, arms and clawed a half of his face until they eventually reached above ground, tornado then let's go of him and created another tornado to send him spiralling down to the ground. The rest of the team reach above ground and watch as the teen got up and roared at them ready for a fight. Black canary runs and gets in between her team and the boy.

Black canary: stop this! We don't have to fight eachother!! Let me talk to him!

Batman: (warningly) canary-

Black canary: no bats! Let me do this!

Without waiting for a response, black canary turns around, raises her arms again and slowly walks up to the boy whose soul focus is on her, claws ready to strike. Canary is millimetres away from the boy and slowly puts her hands on the boys shoulders, who's growling has lessened but he does let out the occasional loud one every now and then. The blonde siren then slowly puts her hands on the helmet he's wearing, causing the boy to stiffen. Black canary waits for a moment before finally lifting the helmet off of the boy revealing his h/c hair and e/c eyes and dropping it down to the ground. Black canary smiles confortingly at him but it is all ruined when the man of steel shows up at high speed, tackles the boy and restrains him while said teen growls and attempts to break free but is proven futile. Martian manhunter suddenly appears in front of the boy and puts his hand on his head and his red eyes glow.

Martian manhunter: sleep now.

Unable to resist the command, the boy succumbs to unconsciousness. Black canary angry walks up to the pair.

Black canary: what the hell you 2?! I had it under control!

Superman: don't blame us on this, batman just told us that someone was about to attack you and that he needed j'onn for the assist.

Black canary whirled her head to the dark knight who as always, didn't show emotion on his face. Before canary could say anything, batman spoke.

Batman: let's take him to the watchtower, we need to know what happened down at that lab. J'onn, I know you don't like it, but I need you to read his mind, see if you can gain anything off of him.

Martian manhunter: of course batman.

Black canary growls but says nothing, she merely grabs the boy in a princess carry and walks with her team.

(Timeskip)

Right now the boy is in an interrogation like room, his hands chained to a table and feet chained to the ground. The teen could easily break free but considering who's he's smelling on the other side of the glass, he doesn't want to take any chances of trying to escape. A scowl was present on his face because of what happened recently. Martian manhunter entered his mind against his will, luckily he found a way to get him out of it, he used his memories of being experimented on and killing all those people at the lab to defend his mind from being attacked any further, it wasn't like he was gonna get anything from his head anyway, his mind was all over the place and most of it was erased, the only thing he remembered was his name. On the other side of the glass, batman, black canary, cyborg and wonder woman were watching the kid doing nothing but glare at the table, eventually Martian manhunter walks in to the room and the group faces him.

Wonder woman: what did you find out j'onn?

Martian manhunter: I was only able to find out his name, everything else was impossible to find. His memories are indeed mostly erased and he was using memories of his experimentation and slaughter of the people of the facility to keep me locked out.

Batman frowned but then turned to wonder woman.

Batman: think you could use your lasso to get anything from him?

Wonder woman: I could but I'm not going to. Bruce, he's just a child who doesn't know what's going on, he doesn't need to be interrogated, he needs guidance and it's not- where's Dinah?

The group hear the door to the interrogation room open and see black canary enter the room with some clothes in hand, the boy raised his head slightly, realising who's scent he was smelling but didn't say anything. Black canary put the clothes in front of him and removed the chains on his hands and feet. Batman was about to run in there but a hand on his shoulder stopped him from doing anything stupid.

Black canary: hey... I got you some clothes for you to wear, I thought you'd be uncomfortable in just those shorts, and I'd like to ask you some questions is that alright?

The boy doesn't say anything but merely nods his head and starts putting the clothes on, not noticing 2 pairs of eyes were eyeing his frame now that he wasn't attacking them and could admit that he looked really fit. Once the clothes put on, he turned around to face canary and finally spoke.

???: how do I look?

Black canary: (smiles) dashing.

The 2 sit down. The boy having his hands folded together while canary had hers on the table.

Black canary: my name is Dinah Drake, what's yours?

Y/N:....Y/N.

Black canary: (eyebrow raised) no last name?

Y/N:.....can't remember.

Black canary: (sad) sorry.

Y/N:....don't worry about it.

Black canary: do you remember what those scientists did to you?

Y/N: (chuckles darkly) that's the wrong question ask, you should be asking what didn't they do to me?

That worried canary and those behind the darkened glass.

Y/N: most of it was a blur, I was in and out of consciousness most of the time, but the only things I can remember is them cutting me up, injecting my body with odd fluids that would cause me pain and test my healing capabilities to the limit..... and it fucking hurt. I think the biggest thing that was the worst was when they ripped my heart out and watched as I slowly died before I regenerated a knew one.

Black canary put her hands to her mouth in mild horror at what she heard, before placing them back down on the table clenched in anger.

Black canary:....no one should ever go through that.

Y/N: (snorts) yeah well.....guess I'm the unlucky one.

Black canary:......when we were at the lab, we watched a recording of the scientists injecting some liquid in to you, they said it was a metal alloy, do you know the name of it?

Y/N says nothing for a moment before sighing and leaning back on his chair before raising his right fist up and showing his claws.

Y/N: it's called adamantium, it's a rare man made metal alloy, how it's made, I have no fucking idea, but what I do know at least is that whoever captured and experimented on me barely have any of it left. It's a really dense metal that is impossible to break.

Black canary reach is out to the claws and begins feeling the texture of the metal before touching the pointy tip, she felt a stinging sensation and looked at her finger to see a very tiny cut.

Black canary: they're sharp.

Y/N: yep, and I don't need to sharpen them (retracts claws).

Black canary: do you know why they captured you?

Y/N: (sigh) as far as I know I have this thing inside my body that mutated me to have my powers. They called it the X-gene, gave me animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, a healing factor and retractable bone claws.

Black canary: (eyebrow raised), bone claws?

Y/N: it's what I had before being captured.

Black canary: (nods) why did they inject this adamantium into you?

Y/N: isn't it obvious? They wanted the perfect weapon to do their bidding. Just picture it, a being with all those powers I listed earlier, combine that with an indestructible adamantium skeleton, and you have the perfect super soldier that could probably kill most of the justice league.

Black canary says nothing as she's taking all the information that she's been told before massaging her temples and looking at Y/N who's looking back at her.

Y/N: so now what? Am I gonna go to jail? I did kill people, or am I going to stay wherever the fuck here is.

Black canary says nothing before having a glint in her eyes and smirk appearing on her face.

Black canary: give about 20 minutes.

(Timeskip)

Y/N sat on his chair with a scowl on his face. Black canary said wait 20 minutes, that was 2 hours ago and nothing has happened. Getting sick of waiting, he growled and stood up before walking to the door, releasing his claws and impaling them through the door before bringing them down in an X symbol, making the door collapse. He then walks through it and walks about wherever he is. He eventually comes across a window and looks out of it to see to his shock, earth. He suddenly smells something and quickly turns around, claws at the ready to strike only to stop when he sees it was wonder woman.

Wonder woman: you're fast on the strike.

Y/N: it's what I was groomed to do.

Y/N sheathed his claws before turning around, arms folded and looking at earth with the amazon princess walking next to him and doing the same.

Wonder woman: beautiful, isn't it?

Y/N: it's alright.....where am I exactly?

Wonder woman: our base of operations, the watchtower.....(looks at Y/N sadly) I'm sorry for what happened to you.

Y/N: I don't need your pity, and besides why would you be? You weren't directly responsible for what happened to me.

Wonder woman: but we are responsible, some people see the justice league as a threat to their personal goals, and they would do anything to make us disappear for good.

Y/N says nothing but nods a little in understanding, people can directly or indirectly create their villians and make them do extreme things to remove obstacles. Wonder woman then turns to face Y/N.

Wonder woman: anyway, I need you to come with me, the league have made a decision about what to do with you.

Y/N: (sighs) let's get this over with.

The 2 walk through the hallway of the watchtower and eventually make it to a room with a semi round table. In the room is black canary, green arrow, green lantern, Martian manhunter, batman, superman, red tornado, cyborg, aquaman and the flash. Wonder woman goes and take a seat while Y/N just stands there arms crossed staring at every single member of the JL who are observing him. There was an awkward silence in the room as no one knew who was going to speak up first. It was eventually batman who stood up from his seat and spoke.

Batman: Y/N, we have discussed what should be done with you. Originally, we were to have you placed somewhere where you could not harm others and be watched by senior members of the justice league-

Y/N: fuck.that.

Batman: however, (glares at Y/N who glares back) after some careful consideration, we've decided that you and your powers could be put to good for the betterment of the world.

Y/N: (raises brow) so what? Does that mean I join your boy scouts? Cause I don't do teamwork.

Superman speaks up this time.

Superman: no, not exactly, we've decided that someone would take you up as a partner. You will be doing patrols and learn what's right from wrong, there's a couple more things but that will be for the person who takes you on.

Y/N: riiiiiiiiigght, and who exactly is going to take me on?

Black canary and wonder woman raise their hands, Y/N raises his eyebrow but says nothing about it but questions something else.

Y/N: I've got 2 people taking me on, how's this gonna work out?

Wonder woman: you will be alternating between us every 2 weeks, learning the way we patrol our cities and what you would be dealing with.

Green arrow: so what do you say?

Y/N:.........(sigh) fuck it, yeah I'll join your little boy scout groups.

Black canary: (smirks) we'd thought you'd say that, which is why (pulls out a suitcase and places it on the table in front of Y/N) I had this prepared for you, go ahead open it.

Y/N looks at her before looking down at the case and opening it.

Y/N: not bad.

Cyborg: one more thing, your gonna need your hero name, something that will keep the bad guys on their toes, what's it gonna be.

Y/N began to think about what name should fit him but then remembered a certain animal that was in a way like him, with a smirk, he tells them his name.

Y/N: call me......

(Timeskip - a few weeks)

In the city of Gotham a bank robbery is happening and 5 thugs are running away with the cash they stole and ran to an alley where their getaway vehicle was. Just as they were about to get in, black canary appeared in the air and kicked a thug around the head, making him hit his head on the brick wall, she then used her canary cry to send 2 more crooks into the car windows. The last 2 pull their guns out but-

Snikt.

The 2 turn around and prepare to fire their guns only for one to be slice and the other to shoot at the figure who slightly recoiled from the shot hitting their shoulder. The figure rolls his shoulder and grabs the gun and snaps it in half over his knee before stabbing the crook that shot him in the shoulder and the other in the stomach and dragging them, claws still in them and then tossing one on the hood of the car and smashing the other through a window of the car before dragging him out and tossing him at a dumpster, knocking him out. The figure then grabs the crook on the hood before punching on the face, making him face canary who punches him in his wound and roundhouse kicking him, making him face wolverine who choke slams on the hood of the car, making a dent in it, before dragging him off of it. The crook still somewhat conscious moves tries to crawl away but only manages to lean on a dumpster and looks at canary who's tying up his partners in crime and then turns to the figure who he can now see clearly now that he's standing in front of him with the light above illuminating him.

Thug: (scared) wh-who are you?!

???: I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best, (snikt) isn't very nice.

Thug: W-WHAT A-ARE YOU!!?!?

Wolverine: (smirks) call me wolverine.
