Chapter 3: Losing People Dear
As you were walking towards (f/p/c), you got shoved straight into the lockers on your right by the none other Bad Touch Trio. "Ohonhonhonhon. Oops, I meant to zshove you harder againzt zhe lockers." Francis laughed as well as for Gilbert and Antonio as they passed by your limp body. Tears started to form in your eyes, but you quickly wiped them away. You shook your head and continued on your walk to (f/p/c).
~~~Time Skip to lunch thanks to Romano's tomatoes~~~
It just so happened that the trio you met this morning were in nearly all your classes. Strangely, almost all of their seats were arranged around your seat but you just shrugged it off.
You got your lunch box and went over to your favorite place to eat lunch. It was underneath an oak tree that was on the edge of a forest that was right behind your school, and yes they didn't put a fence around the school to keep it protected.(Some school you got there) You had found this spot when you started to get bullied by other students.
You decided to climb up the tree and have your lunch up there, because why the fuck not. You climbed up towards the top of the tree. When you reached the top of the oak tree, you were amazed by the fricking view. The lake that was literally right next to your school shimmered in the sunlight. It's clear blue waters reflected the beautiful blue sky with not a single cloud in the sky. Your jaw dropped at the breathtaking sight. You sat down and opened your lunch box with a happy sigh. 'I'm so glad I found this spot.' You thought to yourself as you ate your lunch.
You started to clean up your lunch once you finished up. Just as you dropped to the ground, the bell rang, signalling students to head to class. All the students started rushing from wherever they had their lunch and headed off to their next class. You just happily sighed and started your walk towards (5th Period Class).
~~~Time Skip to the middle of 6th period class because I'm lazy x3~~~
(Teacher's name) got sidetracked during the beginning of class and started to talk about his/her life until he/she got a phone call. He/she picked up the phone and answered. (T/N) paused for a second to let the person on the phone talk and then called you up. As you stood up, you heard 'Ooh!~ (Y/n)'s in trouble!' and snickers in the classroom, but thankfully the teacher shut them up.
(T/n) handed you the phone and gave you a sad look. You brought the phone to your ear and said, "Hello, this is (Y/n)." "Hello, (Y/n)." said the person on the other end of the phone, which you believed to be was a man. "I called to tell you some unfortunate news..." he continued. You tensed up. "What... kind of...unfortunate news?" You asked, now very worried. "(Y/n)... we came to tell you that your parents got in a car crash and didn't make it in time. I'm very sorry for your loss." The man said.
Your jaw dropped and you felt the tears threatening to spill out of your eyes. "Umm... sir, which hospital are they at?" You asked, your voice very hoarse and barely above a whisper. "They're at the Kaiser Permanente Clinic which is just a 10 minute walk from your school. When you get out of the school, make a right and then make a left on the first crosswalk. Up ahead you'll see the clinic. And again, I'm terribly sorry for your loss." The man said. "Its ok. Thank you, sir." You said. He hung up and you handed the phone to your teacher.
You looked up at your teacher, grief written all over your face. "May I please be excused for the rest of the day, (T/n)?" You whispered. Your teacher gave you a big embrace and then waved you off, signalling you could go.
You ran straight out of the school, tears already flowing ou of your eyes as you ran. When you neared the entrance, you ran into Arthur. "Oi! What the blaze- (Y/n)! Are you okay, love?! Why are you crying?!" Arthur asked, alarmed. You just shook your head and ran out of the school. You heard Arthur yell out your name but you continued running.
Once you made the left from the first crosswalk, you went into a full on sprint towards the clinic up ahead. You didn't care if your legs were sore as hell and your lungs burned from lack of oxygen, you just wanted to see your parents.
You ran up towards the receptionist and asked to see your parents. "Your name please," the receptionist said. "(Y/n)! (Y/n) (L/n)!" You said, anxious to see your parents. "Okay Miss (L/n). Follow me please." She said as she walked through a set of double doors. You quickly followed after her. She came to a stop at a door near the very end of the long hallway. "Your parents are in here, miss (L/n)." She said. She opened the doors and you quickly walked in.
When you walked in, you practically felt your heart stop beating. There, your parents laying down on stretchers, covered in burns and cuts. Both of them had white blankets cover up the lower part of their bodies.
You walked closer towards the bodies of your parents. "I'll give you some time alone to yourself." The receptionist said as she closed the door and left.
You fell to your knees right in front of your parent's deceased bodies. "I-I... I'm so sorry... mom... dad..." you said as you just let all your tears out. "I'm so sorry for being a terrible daughter. I'm so sorry for disobeying you. I'm so sorry for always fighting with you guys. Just please come back to me!" You sobbed and yelled. "Please don't leave me alone! Please don't leave me here!" You practically yelled out while your tears were flowing out like waterfalls from your eyes. You cried, begged, and pleaded for your parents to come back to you, but it was no good.
Once somebody's gone, there gone forever...
Whatever you do, you can't bring them back...
You can beg and plead all you want, they'll never come back...
You walked out of the clinic, tears still streaming down your eyes. You walked all the way home. Once you got home, you went straight towards your room. You threw yourself onto your bed and cried your eyes out. You cried harder as you let out all your pent up emotions you had bottled up and kept to yourself. You cried and cried until you cried yourself to sleep.
As you slept, you dreamt of all the memories you and your parents had, good and bad. You started to subconsciously cry in your sleep as you dreamt of all the things you regretted you had done to your parents.
And that was the start of your depression.
