Jennifer was who I kept thinking about when I continued hitting the asshole in front of me.

That was some weeks ago, during the party where I met her.

My very first girlfriend.

Yunno, in romantic movies where the characters are like they forget everything when they are around each other, well I think the same way around her. It's like home and school just passed by, then at night I can go and see her or call her. My day is not complete without her.

It might seem wrong but I am going for a good reason right? I'm doing this for Jennifer.

I licked my lips as I pictured her beautiful face, dark chocolate skin, her gorgeous smile, her full bust and love for multicolored hair, I chuckled as I remembered the pink braids she was admiring on her phone when she had white braids on.

I boarded a public transport after walking a few miles. On getting to her area,I alighted and walked a few meters once more to a red gate that shielded me from my final destination.

There was a passenger door on the gate that was always open for visitors so I walked in.

Jennifer lived in a two storey building apartment but she resides in the first floor with her uncle. She doesn't really like talking about her family but I respect her privacy about that.

I had told her about my arrival and when I do she always leaves the front door unlocked.

I walked into the house like has become quite familiar to me. I was greeted by her feminine voice and a thick baritone voice which I think was her uncle, who was never around which got me curious.

I walked in further and quietly to ease drop on their conversation.

"Amope, why have you been touching my things without my consent and worse of all giving it to everybody like as if you are father christmas."

The baritone voice shouted at Jennifer. What has she been giving every one?

"So you have been helping that useless boy abi? Ehen?" His voice sounding venomous. "You know he owes me a lot of money abi?" He continued.

"Omo mi. These drugs are very dangerous. I am only doing this to take care of both of us after my brother and sister in law left us." His voice sounding sympathetic.

"Now, I don't want you touching them anymore, is that clear?" His voice now sounding stern.

Jenny touches drugs? Wow, what else don't I know?

"Y-yy-eess sir." Jennifer stammered while I did not feel any sympathy for her and her uncle.

Jennifer's uncle went out through the back kitchen door I think as I heard a door being slammed angrily.

I walked into the sitting room fully this time to see Jenny seating quite comfortably on the seat, probably staring into space.

I called out her name and she jumped in her seat and faced me with a huge look of shock and shame on her face.

"W-wh-what are you doing here?" She stammered again.

"I told you that I was coming over remember?" I bore holes into her skin while she tried to keep a neutral face.

"And how long have you been here?" She asked casually, using her hand to smoothen her braids. The act shooked me terribly.

"I don't know for sure." I broke my gaze at her. "Long for me to know that you are involved in illegal drugs."

This time I looked at her with a horrified expression on her face.

"It's not what it looks like." She kept on stammering. Her face kept disgusting me.

"Then what is? Explain why you do it?" I yelled at her. She got up from her position and was shaking like a child who stole candy.

"Well I sneak it into a lot of things you drink and eat." She started explaining while I felt like slapping her. Hard.

"Continue?" I tried relaxing, but I still sighed deeply.

She looked at me confused and I just glared at her.

"Why did you do it? When have you been doing this?" I replied to her curiosity.

"Well,it started the day we met. I poured a bit into your drink in the party that was why you were like that." She swallowed her saliva hard.

"Most of the things you do are just the drugs taking over you and you might likely remember what you have done ." I glared at her again.

"I'm sorry." She said after her confession but I know she didn't mean it.

"Was I not good enough for you? Did you not like me? I still don't understand why?" My heart felt broken into a million pieces.

"I did it because..." She started wiping her tear stained face. Was this also hurting her?

"That boy in your school, Tade. He told me to frame someone that he or she is also involved in drugs so that he can not go to jail alone because he also works with my uncle. I didn't m-eean it this way." She cried even more.

So that was why Ayo has been avoiding me, also Jide and that stupid Tade, he is not even ashamed and he came up with such a plan that I fell into sadly.

No wonder they knew so much about each other.

But I was mostly disappointed in Jennifer.

"It's not also my fault yunno." Jennifer adjusted her standing position. Which stupid act is this one bayi?

"I didn't have parents to tell me or teach me the right thing to do." She stared at the wall coldly which I felt like slapping her even more.

"And you think drugs are cool right?" I asked her. Her face was still do emotionless.

What had she done to me? So I'm somehow mad right now? Why did I fall for her? Everything was starting to make sense now

Why I always thought I hurt Ayo or why I thought of sleeping with Jennifer. They were not just imaginations, they were real.

I looked at her in shame and walked out of the house with so much shame at myself.
